HOW TO USE THE ID-READER AND BRACELETS
-
Ensure the Reader is Fully Charged:
To charge the reader, refer to our “How to Charge ROX” video and follow the same instructions. -
Turn on the Reader:
To turn on the reader, either remove it from the charging base or manually turn it on by placing your palm on the button until the reader vibrates and flashes green. In both cases, the reader will remain green for 10 seconds to indicate that it is turned on. -
Connect the reader to the app the same way you would sync a ROX.
You can also check our “How to set up ROXPro” video where we explain in detail how to sync a ROX to the app. -
Assign bracelets to athletes:
Once the reader is connected to the app, you can assign bracelets to athletes. You only need to do this once.
To do this, in the menu bar navigate to “MORE” > “Club Athletes” > and tap on “Sync Bracelet” for the athlete you want to synchronize the bracelet with. The reader will blink in green and you will just have to scan the bracelet on the reader with the barcode touching the reader. Once you have successfully done this, the green light will turn off. The bracelet is now synced to that athlete and in the future each time the athlete scans the bracelet on the reader, the result of the following exercise will be assigned to that athlete. -
Select start option
When setting up an exercise, make sure to place the reader outside of the exercise parameter, so that it does not interfere with the action.
Once done, to start the exercise go to the set up page of the exercise then go
to the “More Settings” section, select either the “Start by Reader” or “Start
by Reader and Hit” on the start options. With “Start by Reader”, you will scan
the bracelet on the reader and, after a set countdown that you can choose, the
exercise will start. With the “Start by Reader and hit” option you’ll also
have to scan the bracelet on the reader; a ROX will light up in green: this is
your starting ROX, meaning after you tap it, the exercise will begin. Complete
the exercise, and the results will automatically be assigned to the relevant
athlete.
You can check the results either on the analytics section in the app or on the
results dashboard on your desktop.
