  1. In the cold weather, a dark screen may appear when the product is started up. But when the product is powered on, it will heat up slowly, and the display will slowly return to normal as the temperature increases. It is possible to have a small number of “bright spots” on the LCD screen, which is acceptable in LCD technology.
  2. Do not press on the LCD monitor screen, which may cause image distortion or malfunction, the image may become blurred, and the screen may be damaged. Gently wipe the display with a soft damp cloth.

Testing
Before routing the video cable, please connect the monitor to the camera and connect the car charger to the power supply to check if it works.

Wire Routing

Camera Installation

The camera has two types of mounting brackets to choose from, available suction cup bracket or headrest bracket installation, the specific way to install depends on your installation location.

  2. Hold the camera with the clips of the headrest mount, pay attention to keep the camera out of the line position down to ensure that the monitor image is not upside down.
  3. Mount the bracket to the metal pole of the car seat.

Monitor Installation

  2. Mounting Monitor – The monitor is mounted by using the suction cup dual-use bracket, which you can mount on the dashboard or on the windshield.
    • Fit the bracket holes on the back of the monitor to the four-claw bracket and push up to lock the bracket in place.
    • Remove the protective film from the bottom of the suction cup adhesive bracket and install it to the location you want to install
    • The monitor has two tail wires, one with the word “12-24V”, please connect this wire to the car charger charging wire. The other one is connected to the extension cable with the word “Monitor” on it.
    • Plug the car charger into the cigarette lighter of the car, start the car, and the monitor will show the image.

Grainy image

Check the voltage – The working voltage should be cont oiled between 12-24V, please check whether the voltage is too high or too low.

Black Screen

2. Check the 4-pin cable is secured to the video cable, and ensure the video and power cables are connected well.

3. Check the camera – Connect well with the extension cable
