  10. GPS Initialisation:

The alarm key must initialize the GPS system properly at first. It is important to do this properly at first so that you can make optimal use of the GPS reception in future.

  1. Program an SOS number as described above.
  2. Activate the SOS on the alarm key, but do this outside where you can be assured of good GPS reception.
  3. Accept the emergency call on your smartphone and wait until you receive the location (during the call) by SMS. This is most likely another Network Location determination.
  4. The call may be disconnected
  5. Wait 5 minutes.

Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 until you receive an SMS via GPS Location. If you still receive the SMS with a Network Location, repeat these steps at a different outside location. If it still does not work, please contact our Service number (see Manual).
