Levenhuk F10/F20 Meat Thermoprobes

Levenhuk digital thermoprobes are designed for the temperature measurement of various types of food and dishes during the cooking process

Using

Press (2) to turn the device on. Slide the probe out of the protective sleeve. Insert the tip of the probe at least 1cm into the measured material. The current temperature will be shown on the display (5). Wait a few seconds to let the temperature stabilize. Press (1) to change the temperature unit (Celsius, °C / Fahrenheit, °F). Capture the current temperature. Levenhuk F10: press (3), the caption “Hold” will appear on the display. Press (3) again to return to the normal mode. Levenhuk F20: press (4), the caption “Hold” will appear on the display. Press (4) three times to return to the normal mode. Recall the highest/lowest temperature (Levenhuk F20). Press (4) twice. The max. temperature and the caption “MAX” will appear on the display. Press (4) again to recall the min. temperature (the caption “MIN” will appear on the display). Press (4) again to return to the normal mode. To reset the max. and min. temperatures, press and hold (4) for three seconds while in Recall mode. The record is reset when the caption “—-” appears. The new highest/lowest temperatures will be shown after reset. Slide the probe back into the protective sleeve after use. Replace batteries. Replace the batteries with new ones when the low battery indicator appears. Unscrew the battery compartment cover counterclockwise, replace the batteries, and screw the compartment cover clockwise.

Care and maintenance

Never leave the thermoprobe inside a working oven or microwave, remove the device immediately after measuring the temperature. Keep the device away from open flames and hot surfaces. Always wear protective gloves during and after using the thermoprobe due to the risk of burns. Never use a damaged device. Use the device only for its intended purpose. Children should only use the device under an adult’s supervision. The device is suitable for indoor use only. The device is not waterproof. Strictly follow the instructions and do not disassemble or drop the device as it may result in a loss of functionality. Children should use the device under adult supervision only.

Battery safety instructions

Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –). Never short-circuit batteries as this may lead to high temperatures, leakage, or explosion. Never heat batteries in order to revive them. Do not disassemble batteries. Keep batteries out of the reach of children, to avoid risk of ingestion, suffocation, or poisoning. Utilize used batteries as prescribed by your country’s laws.
