IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.

DANGER
As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when switch is off. To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:

• Always unplug appliance immediately after using.
• Do not use while bathing or in the shower.
• Do not place or store this appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
• If an appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water.
• Unplug this appliance before cleaning it.

WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injury to persons:

• This appliance should never be left unattended when it is plugged in.
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children or individuals with certain disabilities or special needs.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped/damaged, or if it has been dropped into water.
• Keep the cord away from the heated surfaces. Do not pull, twist, or wrap the line cord around the appliance.
• Never use while sleeping.
• Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair and the like.
• Never drop or insert any object into any of the appliance’s openings.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used, or where oxygen is being administered.
• Do not use an extension cord.
• This appliance is hot when in use. Do not let eyes or bare skin touch heated surfaces.
• Do not place the heated unit directly on any surface while it is hot or plugged in. Always place the appliance with the stand on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface.
• Do not touch hot surfaces of the appliance. Use handles or knobs.
• Do not attempt to touch the housing of your appliance near the straightening plates, as it is hot when in use.
• Always store this appliance and cord in a moisture-free area. Do not store it in temperatures exceeding 140°F (60°C).
• This appliance is for household use only.
• Do not plug or unplug this appliance when your hands are wet.
• Do not use this styling appliance on hair extensions.
• This appliance is not a toy. Keep away from children.

HOW TO USE

1. Wash and dry your hair, comb your hair thoroughly, then wrap a towel around your neck so as to avoid possible skin scalding.
2. Plug the iron into an electrical outlet, rotate the switch clockwise to power on. The iron will heat up and work at the lowest level (265 F/130 C). The white indicator will blink until it reaches desired temperature setting and then becomes solid.
3. Rotate the switch to adjust temperature to your desired level.
4. To turn off, rotate the switch anticlockwise to the end and the LED indicator will go off.

Note: Never leave your flat iron on and unattended. However, should you fail to turn the unit off, it will shut itself off automatically within 60 minutes.
WARNING: The flat iron’s heating plates will get very hot within a few seconds and should not come into contact with the skin after the flat iron has been turned on. You can only hold the handle and use the glove to protect yourself when styling your hair.

Temperature Setting Guide
High temperature may damage your hair, please select a suitable temperature setting for your hair.

Patented Sealing Heating Plate
With patented anti-dust and waterproof sealing technology, the 3D floating heating plate is easy to clean with water. You can use thermal protection serum or thermal hair protector spray while styling your hair with the iron.
Note: Do not wash or drop the whole straightener into water.

Automatic Safety Shutoff
After approximately one hour, the unit will automatically shut itself off.
To reactivate the unit, please rotate the switch to power on again.

Hinge Lock
This professional flat iron has a closing lock to make the unit easier to store. To lock the iron, simply squeeze the plates together and turn the switch to the locked position. To unlock, turn the switch to the unlock position.
Note: Do not heat the unit in the locked position.

Worldwide Use
The appliance is designed with the universal voltage of 100-240V AC, which allows you to use it in any countries within this voltage range. A correctly specified travel adapter is required for traveling (not supplied).

CAUTION

• When the appliance is used for the first time, slight burned smell or little mist may be produced, which is from remaining test material on metal parts of the appliance and will disappear in a few seconds. It is a normal condition, please feel free to use it.
• If the temperature is set too high, it will take the risk of burning hair.
• You shall choose the suitable temperature and use the appliance properly according to your hair condition, otherwise, it may make your hair dry or even scald.

TIPS FOR STYLING

Some experience is necessary when learning to use this flat iron. After using the iron several times, you will learn the ideal way to straighten and style your hair.

1. Please turn the power off and practice in front of a mirror, until you are familiar with the usage of this appliance.

2. Test the iron on a small section of hair, then adjust the temperature up or down before styling the rest of your hair.
   Note:
   • If you find that you need a higher setting while straightening your hair, simply adjust the temperature to a higher heat setting.
   • While straightening your hair, if you find that you need a lower setting, adjust the temperature to a lower heat setting. Because the unit is already hot, it may take a few minutes to cool off.

3. Apply heat protection spray first before use the iron, avoid hair getting damaged, meanwhile, it can increase hair luster (You can choose LANVIER Heat Protection Spray to use together).

4. Spray hair styling products after use this appliance, keep hair style lasting longer.

How to bundle your hair

1. Part your hair evenly to the left and right.|

2. And divide your hair evenly into 4 parts.|
3. Divide the hair on the rear of your head into
six parts from the top to the end.|
4. Twist each bundle of hair into a roll, then fix
with hair clip.|
5. Start styling from the bottom on the back of
your head.|

Straightening

1. Hold a bundle of hair around 2 inch in width.|

2. Move the hair iron straight from the top to the end.|
3. To straighten the rest of your hair, repeat steps from 1 to 2.|

Inward Curl

1. Hold a bundle of hair around 1.2in in width.|

2. Rotate the main body inward half-rotation.|
3. After the half rotation ensure that the hair tips protrude towards the back of the head.|
4. Move the hair iron slowly at a same speed while clamping the bundle of hair.|
5. Release the bundle of hair, finish styling.|
6. To curl the rest of hair, repeat steps from 1 to 5.|

Outward Curl

1. Hold a bundle of hair around 1.2in in width.|

2. Rotate the main body outward half-rotation.|
3. After the half rotation ensure that the hair tips protrude towards the back of the head.|
4. Move the hair iron slowly at a same speed while clamping the bundle of hair.|
5. Release the bundle of hair, finish styling.|
6. To curl the rest of hair, repeat steps from 1 to 5.|

MAINTENANCE

Cleaning
Make sure the unit is unplugged and cool. Use a damp cloth to clean the plates and the outside of the power handle. No other maintenance of the unit is required. This appliance has no user serviceable parts.

Storage
Unplug the unit whenever it is not in use. Allow it to cool, then store it out of reach of children in a safe, dry location.
Never wrap the cord around the appliance, since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break, thus voiding warranty. Handle the cord carefully and avoid jerking, twisting, or straining it, especially at plug connections. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
