OPERATION

Power ON/OFF

To power on the scale, press the button. The scale will perform a brief self- check, taking about 5 seconds. After you hear a beep and see ‘0.000’ on the display, the scale is stable and ready for weighing. To power off the scale, press the ,’ button again, and the device will turn off immediately. Additionally, if the scale remains idle and unused for 5 minutes, it will automatically power off to conserve energy.

Zero

Environmental conditions can cause a measurement to be displayed, even when the scale pan is empty. This is perfectly normal and not a cause for concern. To set the current measurement as zero, simply press the key. A Z indicator will illuminate the display to signify that the scale has been zeroed out successfully.

Tare

The weight of any container can be tared (subtracted from the total measurement) using the key.

  • Place the container on the scale pan.
  • Press the key. The T indicator will light up on the display and adjust the current weight reading to zero.
  • If you remove the container from the scale pan, the tare weight will show as a negative value.
  • To clear the tare weight, remove the container from the scale pan and press the key. The display will show the weight as zero, meaning that the tare weight has been cleared.

Unit Conversion

To initiate unit conversion, begin by pressing and holding the key with your left hand. While holding the key, press the : button with your right hand, then release both keys simultaneously. Quickly press the button twice before the scale completes initialization. This will lead you to the parameter setting mode, indicated by ‘L – 100’ on the display.

Press the key to browse the parameters until ‘Unt 2’ appears, along with the ‘lb’ icon active in the upper left corner of the screen. Then tap the key to select your desired unit and press the key to confirm your choice.

Counting

Power on the scale and allow it to initialize in weighing mode. Once stabilized, press the key to activate counting mode, indicated by the illuminated C on the display. To choose a sample size, press the key button to cycle through the available options-10, 20, 50, 1 00, 200, or 500.
Pause at the number desired and place that exact number of items on the scale. The number will continue to blink until the scale emits a double beep after 5 seconds, confirming the sample size has been recorded. Following this setup, as you add more of the same type of item onto the scale, it will automatically calculate and display the cumulative piece count.
For counting different items, remove any existing items from the scale pan and press the button to cycle through the sample size options once again. Choose the appropriate number for your new batch of items and follow the established procedure: place the exact number of samples on the scale, wait for the blinking to cease and the confirmation beep. This method can be repeated to efficiently count multiple types of items with the scale.
To exit counting mode, simply press the key.
