  2. The warnings, cautions, and instructions in this manual cannot cover all possible conditions or situations that could occur. Exercise common sense and caution when using this grinder. Always be aware of the environment and ensure that the grinder is used in a safe and responsible manner.
  3. Do not allow persons to operate or assemble the grinder until they have read this manual and have developed a thorough understanding of how it works.
  4. Do not modify this grinder in any way. Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or safety and could affect the life of the product. There are specific applications for which the product was designed.
  5. Do not use this grinder for a purpose for which it was NOT intended.
  6. Inspect the work area before each use. Keep the work area clean, dry, free of clutter, and well-lit. Cluttered, wet, or dark work areas can result in injury. Using the product in confined work areas may put you dangerously close to cutting tools and rotating parts.
  7. Close adult supervision must be provided when this appliance is used near children. This appliance is NOT intended for use by children. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and pets.
  8. Be aware of all power lines, electrical circuits, water pipes, and other mechanical hazards in your work area. Some of these hazards may be hidden from your view and may cause personal injury and/or property damage if contacted.
  9. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing, dangling objects, or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
  10. Keep proper footing and balance of your body and appliance at all times.
  11. Wear the proper personal protective equipment when necessary.
  12. Stay alert, watch what you are doing. Do not use the meat grinder while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating the meat grinder may result in serious personal injury.

SPECIFIC OPERATIONS WARNINGS

  1. This product is for household use only, NOT for industrial use.
  2. Do not force the grinder. This may cause the grinder to jam. Grinders are safer and do a better job when used in the manner for which they are designed.
  3. Check for parts before each use. Before use, please check whether the power cord, plug, and other spare parts are normal. If any damage is found, please stop using the products and Do not disassemble them by yourself. Please contact our customer service in time.
  4. Do not use a product with a malfunctioning switch. Any electric meat grinder that cannot be controlled with the power switch is dangerous and must be repaired by maintenance professionals before use.
  5. Only plug the product into a standard 110V AC 60Hz electrical outlet. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local voltage before you connect the appliance.
  6. Do not operate another electrical product on the same electrical circuit as this product to avoid a circuit overload.
  7. Press the 「OFF 」 button and disconnect the power supply from the product before making any adjustments, like changing accessories, disassembling, cleaning, and storing the grinder. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the grinder accidentally.
  8. Store the product when it is NOT in use. Store it unplugged in a dry, secure place out of the reach of children. Inspect the grinder for good working condition prior to  storage
  9. Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for use with your product. Accessories that may be suitable for one grinder may create a risk of injury when used with another grinder.
  10. Thoroughly clean the parts that will come into contact with food before you use the appliance for the first time.
  11. Do not leave the grinder running unattended.
  12. Never operate the grinder without the Food Tray in place. Avoid contact with moving parts. Never put your fingers near the blade while it is operating. Always use a meat usher to push the meat into the grinder head.
  13. Never put the grinder near a hot burner, in an oven, or in a dishwasher.
  14. Do not use a grinder outdoors. This grinder is intended for household use only.
  15. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, come into contact with sharp edges, or touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord become kinked or trapped under the grinder. Do not let the cold wind around the grinder.
  16. Place the grinder on a firm and stable surface away from the edge of the worktop. Never use the grinder unless it is fully upright and completely assembled.
  17. Do not use in wet areas. Do not put the grinder in water or other liquids. Do not operate the grinder with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor.
  18.  Never use abrasive cleaning agents or abrasive cloths when cleaning the unit.
  19. Use the grinder to cut only designated food. Do not attempt to grind frozen food, bones, cardboard, plastic, etc. Do not grind ginger or other materials with hard fiber.
  20. This grinder has a sharp blade. Be careful when removing food from the meat grinder. Never use fingers to scrape food away from the discharge disc while the appliance is operating. If you want to scrape off the food, be sure to turn off the power and then use a long-handled spoon to scrape the food off the machine.
  21. Never move the meat grinder when in use. When lifting the machine, please turn the power off and hold the grinder with both hands. Do not move the machine by holding opper Plates or Grinder’s heads.
  22. Use protective cut-resistant gloves whenever handling blades.
  23.  Avoid bumping or impacting the meat grinder.
  24. Always use a meat grinder in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal fire codes.
  25. Do not insert any metallic objects into the meat grinder.
  26. Do not run the grinder for more than 10 continuous minutes. After running for 10 minutes, allow it to cool down for 10 minutes before using it again.
  27.  Do not fix the cutting blade or cutting plate when using the kubbe attachment. 28. If the circuit breaker activates, Do not switch it on.
  28. Idling time should NOT exceed 2 minutes. Friction between moving parts may cause the parts to wear and the engine overheat
  29. In order to avoid a hazardous situation, this appliance must NEVER be connected to a timer switch.
  30. Reduce the risk of unintentional starting. Press 「OFF 」 button before attaching it to the power source.
  31. Do not pull on the power cord to disconnect, pull on the head of the plug.
  32. Do not heat any part of the product.

Troubleshooting

**OIL PURPOSE

NOTE: Some metal parts are coated with colorless and odorless FOOD GRADE MINERAL OIL. Oil could keep your grinder well lubricated and prevent rust from forming during storage. That’s why it’s important to coat the meat grinder part with a small layer of oil.

SHORT CORD PURPOSE

NOTE: A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer power-supply cords r  extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used:
(1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product;
(2) the extension cord should be arranged so that it will NOT drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can unintentionally be pulled on or tripped over by children or pets.

POLARIZED PLUG

If this appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other), please follow the below instructions:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to fit the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does NOT fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug of the product or any extension cord being used with this product. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

Before assembling the Grinder:

  1. Inspect the package carefully upon receipt. If there are signs of damage to the packaging, carefully check the contents to ensure there are no missing or damaged parts.
  2. We suggest you save all the packing material if future shipping of the machine is needed.
  3. Keep all plastic bags away from children.

ASSEMBLING

  1. Rinse, wash and Sanitize. Before you assemble your meat Grinder, you should wash, rinse, and sanitize all of the assembled assembly parts. After washing, let the pieces air dry.

  2. Disconnect Power Cord. Check to ensure that the power cord is disconnected before assembly.

  3. Insert Grinder Head tightly into the attachment opening. Holding the head with one hand, turn the Fasten Knob clockwise to tighten the Grinder Head. ( FIG.1 &2) (1) The Fasten Knob needs to be loosened to allow the Grinder Head to be fully inserted. (2) Ensure the notches of the Grinder Head fit into the slots of the Attachment Opening.

  4. Insert Feed Screw. Insert Feed Screw into Grinder Head, long end spindle first; turn it slightly until it is set into Motor Housing. (FIG.3)

  5. Add Cutting Blade. Position Cutting Blade onto Feed Screw shaft. (FIG.4)
    Note: If it is NOT fitted properly, the meat will NOT be ground and the Cutting Plate may be permanently damaged.

  6. Place Cutting Plate. Position the desired Cutting Plate onto the Feed Screw against the flat sides of the Cutting Blade. Ensure the notches of the Cutting Plate fit into the slots of the Grinder Head tube. (FIG.5)

  7. Attach Screw Fixing Ring. Securely attach the Screw Fixing Ring to the end of the Grinder Head tube. Do not over-tighten. (FIG.6)

  8. Attach Food Tray. Place the Food Tray on the upright part of the Grinder Head. NEVER use the Grinder without the Food Tray installed. (FIG.7)

  9. Use a meat pusher. When mincing the meat, you can only use the food pusher stick to push the meat into the head. (FIG.8)

Kubbe KitsAssembly:

  1. Insert the Feed Screw into the front part of the grinding head with the short end of the Feed Screw facing out (FIG.8). When you insert the Feed Screw, you may have to twist it a little until you feel it set into the motor housing.
  2. Insert the 1st part of the kubbe maker attachment on the front of the grinder head. Then insert the 2nd part of the kubbe maker attachment over the 1st part (FIG.9).
  3. Attach Screw Fixing Ring. Securely attach the Screw Fixing Ring to the end of the Grinder Head tube. Do not over-tighten. ( FIG.10)
  4. Attach Food Tray. Place the Food Tray on the upright part of the Grinder Head. NEVER use the Grinder without the Food Tray installed.
  5. Use meat pusher. When mincing the meat, you can only use the food pusher stick to push the meat into the head. (FIG.11)

Sausage Stuffing Assembly:

  1. Attach grinder head to the motor and install Feed Screw, Cutting Blade, and Cutting Plate as described above in General Assembly. (FIG.12)
  2. Slide one of the stuffing tubes through the spacer and place it in Grinder Head ( FIG.12). Stuffing tube size depends on the type of casing you have chosen to use.
  3. Attach Screw Fixing Ring. Securely attach the Screw Fixing Ring to the end of the Grinder Head tube. Do not over-tighten. (FIG.12)

GRINDING & STUFFING INSTRUCTIONS

GRINDING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. When using the grinder, it is important that you stand in the correct position. Do not position yourself so that any part of your body comes in direct contact with the grinder when working.
  2. Cut meat into Approximately 20mm20mm60mm strips or 25mm cubes. Make sure to remove all bones, gristle, fat, and sinew.
  3. For best results, frozen meat should be thawed before processing.
  4. Plug in, then press the power switch to start.
  5. Raise the Food Pusher; feed the meat into the tube. Do not force the meat into the opening. Use the food pusher to push the meat into the grinder.
  6. If the motor slows or stops, this may be due to jammed food. Immediately press 「OFF 」 to shut down the appliance for at least 3 seconds. Press the Reverse switch and then turn the grinder ON again. If the grinder gets jammed again, you may need to switch it off, unplug, disassemble the grinder head and clean the internal parts.
  7. Freshly ground meat should be refrigerated and cooked within 24 hours.
  8. Switch the unit off and unplug when you have finished using the appliance, then strip the appliance and thoroughly clean all components.

STUFFING INSTRUCTIONS:

How to make Kubes
Kubbe is a traditional Middle Eastern appetizer comprised of a small football-shaped shell filled with meat (usually bulgur wheat and lamb). The center section is often stuffed with spiced minced lamb filling and the ends are sealed. Kubbe is usually deeply fried resulting in a crispy outside with a delicious filling. It is time-consuming to make but well worth the effort. This delicious treat can be frozen raw and fried straight from the freezer.

  1. Feed the mixture into the Food Tray and let the mixture extrude. The mince will roll out as a hollow cylinder into the bowl.
  2. Cut or pinch off to your desired length leaving one end open. You now have the finished outer shell for the kubbeh.
  3. Stuff the interior of the shell with your choice of meat filling.
  4. Seal the open end.

How to make Sausages

  1. Place artificial or natural intestines onto the sausage funnel.
  2. Load hopper with prepared meat and feed meat into Grinder Head opening before operating.
  3. Feed the mixture into the meat hopper and let the mixture extrude.
  4. Hold the casing on the sausage tube in one hand and slowly let meat output pull the casing from the tube.
  5. As the casing begins to fill, Twist or Tie the sausage into links as desired. Tie the end securely with a string or into a knob.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

CLEANING
Always be as thorough as possible when cleaning and sanitizing components. Any part exposed to raw meat may harbor or develop bacteria, potentially causing illness or death. Please follow the cleaning steps for your health.

  1. Clean the appliance after each use and start cleaning immediately after use. Expect meat to leave oil and grease behind as it passes through your grinder (as well as stray bits of eat). These will dry and crust over if given time, so don’t wait too long before cleaning up.

  2. Feed bread into the grinder. Meat left behind may be removed by passing a slice of bread through the grinder head.

  3. Before cleaning, Make sure that the motor has stopped completely and unplug the meat grinder from the power source.

  4. Disassemble the Grinder:
    – Remove the Food Pusher and Food Tray.
    – Unscrew the Screw Fixing Ring and remove all parts from the grinder head. If Cutting Plate is difficult to remove, place a screwdriver between the cutting plate and the head to lift it up (FIG.14).
    – Turn the Fasten Knob anticlockwise to loosen and remove the Grinder Head (FIG.15).

  5. Soak the parts except for the motorized parts. Fill a sink or bucket with warm water and add some dish detergent. Place the disassembled parts inside once full. Let them sit for bout a quarter of an hour to loosen up any remaining grease, oil, or meat.
    Warning: Do not use bleaching solutions containing chlorine as this will discolor aluminum surfaces. Aluminum parts are NOT suitable for use in a dishwasher. Hand washes only.

  6. Wipe down the outside of the Motor Housing with a damp cloth and then a fresh one to dry it.
    Warning: Never use abrasive cleaning agents or abrasive cloths when cleaning the unit.

  7. Scrub the parts. Use a sponge to clean the Screw, cover, and Cutting Blade. Be careful when handling the blade, since this is sharp and can easily cut you if mishandled.  witch to a bottle brush to clean the inside of the Grinder Head, Food Tray. Rinse each part with clean water when finished
    Warning: Never clean the meat grinder with a pressurized water jet, industrial cleaner, or any other type of cleaning utensil that could damage the surface of the appliance.

  8. Dry the parts. First, wipe them down with a dry towel to get rid of excess water. Then lay them on a fresh towel or wire rack to air-dry. Avoid rust and oxidation by waiting until they are totally dry before putting your grinder away.

MAINTENANCE

  1. 1. Oil any metal parts. Keep your grinder well lubricated and prevent rust from forming during storage. Fill a spray bottle with food-grade mineral oil. Then mist all of your grinder’s metal parts (excluding electric parts) with an even coat of oil.
  2. Store any metal parts in your freezer if possible. Keep in mind that your grinder works best when its parts are cold. Keep any non-electric metal parts in the freezer if there’s space.
  3. Storage Box offers space to store frequently-used parts for your convenience. Lift the lid of the Storage Box. Your Sausage Attachment, Kubbe Kits and Cutting Plates could be stored in the Storage Box.

LIMITED WARRANTY

The warranty period of the Electric Meat Grinder is 1 year. During the warranty period, the damage caused by non-human factors, we will be responsible for the free repair or replacement. Damages caused by other factors or after the warranty period, we will continue to provide services at a reasonable price to the customer.
WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS

  • Manufacturer Defects Our products are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase when used in accordance with the User Guide.
  • Qualified Replacements If your product does NOT work as it should, we will send you a new one. If the product is no longer available, we will replace it with an identical product or one that is comparable.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

  • Misuse – Damage that occurs from neglectful or improper use of products; Damage that occurs as a result of usage with incompatible voltage. See Safety Instructions for information on proper use.
  • Poor Maintenance – General lack of proper care. See Cleaning & Maintenance Instructions for information on proper maintenance.
  • Commercial Use – Damage that occurs from commercial use.
  • Altered Products – Damage that occurs from alterations or modifications by any entity other than; the removal of the rating label.
  • Catastrophic Events – Damage that occurs from fire, floods, or natural disasters.
  • Loss of Interest – Claims of loss of interest or enjoyment.
