Security measures

Special note

  • Before using the set-top box, remove the plastic cover to ensure normal ventilation.
  • Use the power adapter supplied with the set-top box.

Important safety instructions

  • Make sure that the electrical voltage matches the requirements of the equip-ment. Check the cables regularly; replace damaged cables immediately.
  • To avoid electric shock, do not remove the cover. There are no user-repairable parts inside. Have it serviced by a qualified service technician.
  • Do not use this equipment near water.
  • Clean only with a dry cloth.
  • Place the device on a flat surface. Do not place any heavy objects on the equipment.
  • Do not block any ventilation openings. Install according to the manufacturer‘s instructions.
  • Do not install near heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, or other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  • Use only attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  • If you will not be using the equipment for an extended period and during a thunderstorm, turn it off and remove the plug from the socket.
  • After switching off, wait at least 15 seconds between switching off and switching on again.
  • For an adapter, the outlet must be installed near the adapter and must be easily accessible.

Service

Do not disassemble the equipment. If you experience the following problems, contact your service provider:

  • The power cord or power outlet is damaged.
  • Any liquid has leaked into the equipment.
  • It does not run normally even after following the instructions.
  • The equipment is physically damaged.

RF exposure information
The Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) level is calculated based on and distance d=20 cm between the device and the human body. Maintain, by the RF exposure requirement, a distance of 20 cm between the equipment and the human body should be maintained.

Restrictions in the 5 GHz band
According to Article 10(10) of Directive 2014/53/EU, the packaging shows that this radio equipment will be subject to some restrictions when placed on the market in Belgium(BE), Bulgaria(BG), the Czech Republic(CZ), Denmark(DK), Germany(DE), Estonia(EE), Ireland(IE), Greece(EL), Spain(ES), France(FR), Croatia(HR), Italy(IT), Cyprus(CY), Latvia(LV), Lithuania(LT), Luxembourg(LU), Hungary(HU), Malta(MT), Netherlands(NL), Austria(AT), Poland(PL), Portugal(PT), Romania(RO), Slovenia(SI), Slovakia(SK), Finland(FI), Sweden(SE), Turkey(TR ), Norway(NO), Switzerland(CH), Iceland(IS), and Liechtenstein(LI). Slide the controller cover and insert the batteries. Slide the cover back.

For a smooth initial installation, connect your device accor-ding to the wiring diagram.

Connect the box to the network either using the LAN connector or via a WiFi connection (802.11 b/g/n/ ac; 2.4/5 GHz).

  1. Now pair the controller with the device. The procedure is very simple. Press the „Back“ and „Home“ buttons on the remote at the same time and hold them for about 3 seconds. Successful pairing will be confirmed on your TV screen.
  2. In the next step, you choose the language in which the box will communicate. Select and confirm in the scrolling menu with the „OK“ button.
  3. In the next step, you can set up the box using your mobile phone and thus automatically transfer most of the important settings ( WiFi, etc.) as well as compatible applications.
  4. Of course, it is possible to skip this step and make the settings manually.
  5. On this screen, you can view, read and then confirm the Terms and Conditions.

  7. Your TESLA XT850 hybrid media player supports DVB-T2 terrestrial broadcasting. To search available channels, see the settings below.
  8. We recommend choosing automatic search. All available channels will be searched. The device intuitively guides you through the settings.
  9. Using the remote control setup process, it is possible to check the settings of the volume control functionality of your connected device, e.g.
  10. TV or soundbar, and to automatically turn the connected device on/off with one controller. For both of these options, your device must be compatible. The device intuitively guides you through the settings.
  11. Just say what you want to see with a voice search. Press the voice button on your remote to get started.
  12. Download all your favourite apps and games from Google Play. Enjoy them on the big screen with easy access from your custom Android TV home screen.
  13. The box can be connected to your audio system using an AV cable to achieve higher sound quality.
  14. On the back panel, you‘ll find a USB port for playing music, photos, and videos.

Warranty conditions

Warranty period
The manufacturer provides a warranty for this product for 24 months from the date of purchase by the consumer. The warranty period is extended by the time during which the product was under warranty repair, or could not be used during the warranty period if the nature of the defect prevented its use. The warranty only applies to defects caused by manufacturing errors or material defects!

Warranty card
Free warranty service is provided only if proof of product purchase (receipt) is presented.

Repairs during the warranty and post-warranty period
Warranty service must be claimed at the organization where the product was purchased or at the assembly company that performed the installation.

Scope of warranty
The warranty is void if the defect is caused by mechanical damage (except damage during transport), improper use, carelessness, unavoidable event (natural disaster), if the product was connected to a different supply voltage as stated in the technical specification, and also in case modifications or repairs performed outside the distributor‘s service. The warranty also cannot be applied if the consumer requires modification or adaptation to extend the functions of the product (or a system made up of several components) compared to the standard design.
