Introduction
Thank you for your purchase of this model of digital camera. This camera can
be used to have high quality pictures and videos taken, and can also be used
as a removable disk. Please read the operation manual carefully before your
operation so as to make a better use of the camera.

Preparation before Operation
Mounting the Battery
- Insert another lithium battery correctly as shown in the figure below: 1. Slide open the battery door at the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the lithium battery according to the correct battery polarity.
- Close the battery door
( Note: Take out the battery if the camera lies idle for long.)
Charging the Lithium Battery
Please connect the camera to the computer with USB cable for charging. When
the LED light is on, it indicates that your camera is in the charging mode.
After charging, the LED light will automatically turn off.
Installing the Memory Card
This camera can support up to 64GB memory card. Please insert a brand 10-speed
Memory Card before use. Before using a new Memory Card, please format the card
with the computer or format the card with the machine. The correct
installation method is shown in the figure below Find the Memory Card slot
located at the bottom of the camera. As shown in the figure above, insert the
Memory Card. When you hear a sound like “Da”, it indicates that the Memory
Card has been properly mounted. Now, the SD icon will appear on the LCD
display after it is powered on.
Note:
- Once the Memory Card is inserted, all photos taken will be saved in the Memory Card.
- Formatting will clear all data, including data in the Memory Card and the protected data.
- At the time of formatting, please do not move the Memory Card so as not to damage the Memory Card, which may result in no availability any longer.
- For video shooting by this unit, do require that the Memory Card writing speed should be 10 speeds or above. Otherwise, video recording will lose data, which may result in blocks.
Activating the Camera
This model of camera includes three modes: shooting mode, video recording mode
and playback mode;
In the photo taking mode, you can have still photos taken, and adjust the
camera settings. From the video mode, you can record videos, and in the
playback mode, you can view photos and videos, and you can also delete,
rotate, protect, cut and print photos.
Power On
Press the Power button at the top of the camera to be able to activate power
for the camera. The LCD display will be lit, which indicates that the camera
can be used now.
Power Off
Hold the Power button to be able to turn off camera power supply. When the
supply power is insufficient, this red icon will appear on the LCD display,
and the camera will be automatically off several minutes later.
Photo Taking Mode
After the camera is activated, the icon will appear on the LCD screen
indicating that the camera has entered the shooting mode.
For photo taking, the LCD screen is used to enable the camera to aim at the
object required to be shot. Hold the camera firmly, and press the Shutter
button to be able to take photos. There will be slight delay when the camera
saves photos into the memory card. After a piece of photo is taken ( camera
return icon mode), one number will be shown at the right upper of the LCD
screen, which indicates that the camera can still shoot how many pieces.
Please download pictures into your computer, and then delete data in the
Memory Card to obtain memory or change it into another memory card for
continued use later.
When the camera’s memory is full, if you attempt to take photos or record
videos, the message “card is full” will be displayed on the LCD screen.
An Introduction to the Shortcut Buttons of the Camera
Flashlight
Under the dark and dim environment, it is advisable to use camera’s memory
flashlight. Under the backlight conditions, the flashlight can also be used.
( Note: Using the flashlight function is to dial the far and macro focus
switch to the far focus mode . If it is the macro mode , pressing the
flashlight will have no response, that is, in the macro mode, the flashlight
function cannot be activated.)
Setting the Flashlight:
Press the Up/Flashlight button. When the icon appears on the LCD screen, it
indicates that automatic flash is activated; press the Up button/Flashlight
button again. When the icon appears on the LCD screen, it indicates that
forced flashlight has been activated: press the Up/Flashlight button once
again. When the icon appears on the LCD screen, it indicates that the
flashlight function has been deactivated. Press the Up button/Flashlight
button repeatedly, it will switch among three flashlight statuses;
Digital Zoom
You can zoom in and out the object by digital zoom and press the zoom in /
zoom out (T /W) button. The corresponding icon will appear on the right side
of the LCD screen.
Self shooting: Press the Left button to go to the self shooting mode. Press
the left button continuously to cycle between the four states of self
shooting: 2 seconds, 5 seconds and 10 seconds:
Mode Setting (scene)
This model of camera supports a variety of different scene modes to meet the
shooting requirements of different environments. The scenes include:
automatic, motion, night view, characters, scenery, backlight, party, beach or
high sensitivity.
According to the current lighting conditions and environment, select the
required scene to take photos.
Press the shortcut button to enter the mode. Press the right button to go to
the mode setting.
An introduction to the shooting mode menu
Press the Power button to activate the camera -This appears at the left upper
comer of the LCD screen, and the camera goes to the shooting mode. Press the
Menu/OK button, and the camera will go to the menu mode.
Mode Setting (scene)
From the Menu mode, press the Left/Right button to select the mode menu you
desire.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the mode setting icons: auto, motion, night spring, character, wind spring, backlight, party, beach or high sensitivity.
- Press OK to confirm entry into this mode and return to the shooting mode; after the scene is selected, the corresponding scene icon will appear on the LCD screen..
Photo Resolution
The size and quality of photos determine the number of photos the camera can
take and the space occupied by each photo. The better the quality of the
picture, the more space it takes. The size and quality of photos also affect
the maximum size of effective printed photos, with the settings as follows:

Press the Left/Right button to select the photo resolution icon.
Press the Up/Down button to select the size:

Press the Menu button for confirmation. The corresponding photo size icon appears on the LCD screen.
Video Record Resolution
- Press the Menu button to go to the menu setting mode.
- Press the Left/Right button to select video record resolution option from the menu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the video size: 4K (3840×2160) @10 frame rate; 2. 7K (2688×1520) @20 frame rate; FHD (1920xl080) @30 frame rate, HD (1280×720) @30 frame rate.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation. The corresponding photo size icon appears on the LCD screen.
Face Enhancement
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the face enhancement icon .
- Press the Up/Down button to select the face enhancement On/Off.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation.
Anti-shake
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the anti-shake icon .
- Press the Up/Down button to select the anti-shake On/Off.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation. If anti-shake is selected, this icon ti will appear on the LCD screen.
Photography Effect
This model of camera has as many as 20 kinds of filter shooting effect. You
can make choice as you like.
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the shooting effect.
- Press the Up/Down button to select any option from “normal, black and white, red, green, blue, sunset, infrared, negative, old photo, warm, cold, overexposed, binary, high saturation, low saturation, dog eye, Po style, Goethe style, Japanese style, and LOMO”.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation.
Face Detection
This model of camera has face identification function, and can have higher
quality human photos taken.
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the face test icon .
- Press the Up/Down button to select the face priority On/Off.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation.
Smiling Face Shooting
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the smiling face capture icon
- Press the Up/Down button to select the smiling face shooting On/Off.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation.
Continuous Shooting
By means of this function, you can finish three photos taken by pressing the
shutter button at a time.
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the continuous shooting icon.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the continuous shooting On/Off .
- Press the Menu button for confirmation.
Self Shooting
This function is used to delay the time between the pressing of shutter button
and actual shooting so as to shoot yourself into the photo. It is recommended
that you use a tripod or place your camera at a steady and firm place for self
shooting.
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the self shooting icon, with the function menu as follows: Off/2s/5s/10s optional.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the self shooting duration option.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation. The self shot picture icon will appear in the center at the top of the LCD screen.
Date Printing
This function is used to set the system time appearing on the photo.
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the date printing menu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the corresponding options – off, date, date and time.
- Press the Menu/OK button for confirmation. Select “date” or “date and time” and the photo will show “date” and “date and time”. When off is selected, “date” and
“date and time” will not be displayed on the photo.
After “set date” is selected, the option of date setting will appear on the LCD screen. You can change the system date appearing on the photo.
Settings
This model of camera has as many as 13 setting options.
Exposure, photo sensitivity, ISO, white balance, sharpness, image quality,
time setting, auto off, language, optical frequency, action tone, formatting,
default setting and cancellation, with the operation as follows:
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the setting icon
Exposure
This setting can be used to adjust the brightness of a photo.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the exposure option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the Exposure submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the exposure values (from +3 to -3).
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode. The corresponding icon will appear at the right lower comer of the LCD screen.
Photo Sensitivity
This is a special function. When the light source is not ideal and the use of
flash lamp or tripod is not allowed, the light conditions can be compensated
through this function. Flash or tripod will be the first choice for light
compensation. The second is ISO. When using ISO sensitivity, please select ISO
with low value to avoid light spots on photos.
- From the Set menu
- Press the Up/Down button to select the ISO option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the ISO submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select ISO values, auto/100/200/400.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode.
Corresponding icons will appear at the left lower comer of the LCD screen.
White Balance
This function can regulate colors of photos according to light source colors.
- From the Set menu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the white balance option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the white balance submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select: auto/daytime/cloudy/bulb/fluorescent tube.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode.
Sharpness
- From the Set menu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the sharpness option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the sharpness submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select: gentle/common/high saturation.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode.
Picture Quality
The picture quality will also affect the number of photos that can be taken.
High quality means fewer photos can be taken, but the quality of the photos
will be higher. The default setting is high quality.
- Under the Set menu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the image quality option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the image quality submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select: ultra-high picture quality/high picture quality/common.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode. The corresponding icon will appear on the LCD screen.
Time Settings
This function can be used to set the system time appearing on pictures.
- Press the Up/Down button to set time setting option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the time setting submenu.
- From the menu that appears, press the Up/Down button to select “date and time” /”cancel”.
- After selecting “date and time”, press the Menu button to confirm the entry into the date setting submenu.
- Press the Right/Left button to select year, month, date, hour, minute, second and setting format of the highlighted part.
- Press the Up/Down button to set date, time and format.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode.
Automatic Power Off
The default setting is that if the camera lies idle for one minute, the camera
will perform automatic power off, with the settings as follows:
- Press the Up/Down button to select the automatic power off option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the automatic power off submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select: off 1min/3min/5min/10min.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode. When the camera is not operated by man, the camera will automatically turn off within the date you select.
Note: If you select no, when there is no human operation, the camera will automatically turn off, and it will be powered off until battery is run out of or when you turn off power manually.
Language
This model of camera supports languages of several countries.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the language option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the language submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the required language.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode.
Optical Frequency
- Press the Up/Down button to select the frequency option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the frequency submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select: 50Hz/60Hz.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode.
Button Tone
- Press the Up/Down button to select the button tone option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the button tone submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the button tone On/Off.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation and return to the photo talcing mode.
Formatting
This function will be used to format the memory card, and delete all files in
the memory, including those protected files.
Note: Please use this function with prudence. Once formatted, all files in the memory card will be removed and cannot be canceled. Please transfer the pictures into your computer before the formatting operation.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the formatting option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the formatting submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select: Yes/No.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation.
Note: For this unit, when it is the first time to insert a new card, please format this card with this unit before use. Please use this function with prudence. Once formatted, all files saved in the card will be removed. Please transfer them into your computer before they are formatted.
Default Settings
If the camera’s set parameters are chaotic, you can set the camera into
restore to factory settings.
- Press the Up/Down button to select the default setting option from the Set menu.
- Press the Menu button to go to the default setting submenu.
- Press the Up/Down button to select confirmation- Yes/No.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation.
- If ‘Yes’ is selected, the default setting message will appear. Select “No” to quit. Cancel
This setting can quit the menu conveniently. Select from the Set menu. Press the Menu button to make confirmation and quit.
Video Mode
Note: The camera has no space for the user to record videos. Please
insert one 10-speed or higher genuine brand Memory Card before recording
videos.
Press the power on button and the camera will enter the video recording mode. The icon appears at the top left of the LCD screen. The camera has started video recording. The recorded time will appear at the top right of the LCD screen. The LED will flash. Press the camera button to stop recording and return to the camera mode.
- You can play this AVI file from the playback mode, or play the video quickly using the media system player.
- You can zoom out the pictures when shooting videos.
- For video recording resolution, you can set the resolution you desire from the menu setting in the shooting mode.
Note:
- Video files will be saved in the AVI format.
- When the camera memory is full, if you try to record video, the message “card full” will appear on the LCD screen. Now, please download the picture to the computer, and then remove the data in the Memory Card to obtain memory or change another memory card for further use.
Playback Mode
Press the Playback button after power on, and the camera will enter the photo
and video playback mode. Press the Playback button again to exit the playback
mode and enter the photographing mode. In the playback mode, you can rotate,
protect, remove, and cut your pictures, or protect and delete video clips.
Note:
- If there is no photo or video in the camera, the message as “file does not exist” will be displayed on the screen. Press the Mode button to return to the shooting mode.
Sudoku Playback
When the camera is in the playback mode, press the W button to go to the
Sudoku playback screen.
Select one JPG photo, press the Menu button to display the photo in a full
screen manner. In the full-screen mode, press the T/W button to zoom in/zoom
out photos.
- Press the multifunction button T /W to zoom in/zoom out photos.
- Press the Up/Down/Left/Right buttons to view parts of photos more clearly.
- Hold the W button to be able to quit the current photo zoom in and zoom out status.
Operating Still Photos
Select one photo (with the icon ► appearing on the LCD screen). Select one
photo you want to rotate, protect, remove, cut or print.
Rotation

From the playback mode, press the Menu button.

Press the Left/Right button to select the rotation icon .
-
Press the Up/Down button to select: 90°/180°/270°/cancel.

Press the Menu button for confirmation.
Note: -
Press the Menu button for confirmation. The message “being saved” will appear on the LCD screen.
Protection
You can protect your photos and videos from accidental removal.
- From the playback mode, press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the icon
- Press the Up/Down button to select copy all documents / cancel current file copy /cancel all file copy / cancel.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation. If protection is selected, this icon will appear on LCD.
From Operation Step 3, select “Cancel”, and press the Menu button to unlock the current file.
Delete
You can remove unwanted photos and videos at any time to get memory. You can
remove one image or video at a time, or immediately remove all unprotected
photos and videos currently saved in the memory card.
- From the playback mode, press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the icon ×.
- Press the Up/Down button to select: delete current text/delete all texts/cancel.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation.
Cutting Pictures
For cutting photos, only specific portion or of image is displayed, or some
focal points are highlighted. Then save the portion of picture cutting as a
new picture.
- From the playback mode, press the Menu button.
- Press the Left/Right button to select the cutting icon .
- Press the Up/Down button to select: cut/cancel.
- Press the Menu button for confirmation.
- Press the Up/Down/Left/Right buttons to operate the area range you want to cut. Press the W /T button to enlarge or reduce the cutting range.
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the Menu button again to save or press the Left button to quit.
Playing A VI Files
Select the AVI file to be played.
- Press the Shoot button to play. Press the Menu to stop playing, and then press the Shoot button to pause or start playing once again.
- Note: About how to protect and remove videos, please refer to how to operate still photos.
Downloading Pictures into the Computer
Connect it properly to the computer using USB cord. Turn on the power supply
for your camera, and your computer screen will show the following window
(removable diskH:)
- Downloading directly from the window.
Select “copy pictures to a folder on my computer” on the removable disk (H:) window. When you click on “OK”, some windows will be displayed gradually on the screen. You will only need to follow the instructions, and then install the following buttons by default to complete data transmission
You may also:
- Click on the start button from the window operation system.
- Click on My Computer at the desktop.
- Your memory card will be displayed as a removable storage device.
- Click on the removable storage device to check pictures. These images are stored in the sub folder named DCIM.
- Now, you can copy and paste the image into any directory you choose.
Computer System Requirements Windows 7 /XP
In order that photos and videos can be downloaded into your computer, the
following minimum configuration will be required:
- Pentium series processor compatible with Windows 7 /XP system or higher
- 128 MB memory, 150MB disc space available
- USB interface can be used
- It is recommended that 1024 x 768 screen resolution be used
- 16-bit color or higher display adapter
Computer System Requirements Windows Vista
In order that photos and videos can be downloaded into your computer, the
following minimum configuration will be required:
- Windows Vista
- 800MHz processor and 512 MB system memory
- 20GB disc and at least 15GB space available
- It supports super VGA graphic array
- USB interface available

AnnexB: Q&A
Q: I have have some photos taken, but the computer is unable to identify my
camera, what should I do?
A: First make sure you have taken some photos. Press the Shutter/OK
button several times, take a few test photos, and then try to download them to
the computer. It is recommended to install an Memory Card in the camera.
If you still get the message “no photos”, your computer does not meet the
minimum configuration requirements of the system.
Minimum Pentium III 300MHz, AMD Athlon 300MHz or a Celeron 400MHz or higher,
and minimum 128 MB RAM. Please pay attention to whether the old AMD K6 works.
More information that determines the characteristics of your computer can be
found in the general computer information.
Q: How can I confirm that I have not omitted any important photos?
A: In order to use your camera normally, you need to insert a 32GB memory
card before using it. All your photos will be saved in this card. It is highly
recommended to download these photos from the memory card frequently to get
more memory. This will also be the backup data after your memory card is lost
or damaged.
The test photos are stored in a limited Memory Card RAM. Storing photos
requires a constant electrohydraulic pressure. If your camera is low or out of
power, the device can also work as a removable disk, Mac OS X (10.5 X or
higher version)
