FOOD STORAGE ADVICES
General advices
- Before placing food items in the refrigerator, wrap them carefully. This prevents food odor and taste transfer throughout refrigerator.
- Also let enough space at the front so the door can close tightly.
- Keep the seal clean and soft in order to don’t lose cold air.
- If there is some power interruption, please don’t open the doors in order to keep inside the cold air
Energy savings
- By removing carton and package before putting food in the refrigerator, you reduce the power consumption because refrigerator cools down quickly the food.
- By overfilling your appliances, you push the compressor to work during a long time: so you increase your power consumption.
- Never put warm food in the refrigerator: let it be cool down until the room temperature before storing.
- When you defrost some frozen food, put it in the refrigerator part: the defrosting energy is used to cool down other food instead of use compressor power.
- Keep the seal clean and soft in order to don’t lose cold air.
- Keep the door close and open the refrigerator only when necessary. Remember that each time you open the door, the cold air is lost and you overwork the compressor.
- For best performance, leave enough space in the refrigerator for air to circulate around the packages.
