LEAKAGE TESTING

WARNING! Never do a leakage test with a naked flame.

  1. Turn off the supply of gas if you suspect a gas leak
  2. Listen and smell, or use soapy water. Soapy water forms bubbles if there is any leakage.
  3. Tighten the couplings and do a new leakage test.
  4. If the leak persists, turn off the flow of gas at the regulator and disconnect the regulator from the gas cylinder. FIG. 5

USE WARNING!

  • The gas stove needs ventilation for it to be used safely. A window or door should always be left ajar when the gas stove is on. We also recommend doing this in well-insulated or draught-free rooms and/ or at heights more than 1500 metres above sea level.
  • The gas stove must be correctly installed. Pay attention to all the safety instructions and warnings described in the instructions.
  • Never move the stove when it is hot and/ or turned on.

LIGHTING

  1. Turn the knob on the gas cylinder valve anti-clockwise to open. Turn the output regulator to the MIN position.
  2. Keep the output regulator pressed so that gas can flow to the pilot burner and the central burner.
  3. While the output regulator is pressed in, press the lighter button 2–3 times. Each time the lighter button is pressed a click will be heard, and there will be a spark at the pilot burner.
  4. When the pilot flame lights, keep the output regulator pressed for another 10–15 seconds to activate the thermo element. FIG. 6
  5. The pilot burner and centre burner should remain lit
  6. After this the output regulator can be set to MIN/MEDIUM/MAX as required.
  7. The pilot flame should burn steadily when the gas stove is turned on. If it flutters or the tip is yellow, have the gas stove checked.

TURNING OFF

To turn off the gas stove, turn the knob to MIN and close the valve on the gas cylinder by turning it clockwise. Check that the pilot burner and centre burner go out.

ELECTRIC HEATER WITH FAN

The electric heater system uses infrared heat and is suitable for large, uninsulated areas.

  1. Plug the plug into a correctly installed, earthed power point.
  2. Press the ON/OFF, FAN button to activate the electric heater function and start the fan.
  3. Put the 900 W switch in the I position to activate the electric heater function with 900 W.
  4. Put the 1800 W switch in the position to activate the electric heater function with 1800 W.
  5. Adjust the temperature with the thermostat knob.
  6. Put all the switches in position 0 and pull out the plug after use.

GAS LEAK WARNING

Never do a leakage test with a naked flame. Follow these instructions if a gas leak is suspected:
