SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully before use.
Save them for future reference.
- Do not touch the tips of the voltage tester when checking the voltage.
- Avoid contact with live circuit when checking. Risk of electric shock.
- The voltage tester must only be used to troubleshoot and check electrical circuits with a voltage ranging from 6—380 V.
- Check the function of the voltage tester just before using it by testing it with a known, functional power supply.
- Do not open or modify the voltage tester.
- Do not use the voltage tester if it is defective.
- Do not use the voltage tester in damp conditions.
- The voltage tester must only be used to detect live circuits, nothing else.
- The voltage tester is not a toy, keep it out of the reach of children when not in use.
- The voltage tester must only be used when it is in perfect condition. Discard a defective voltage tester.
- Test functionality before use. The following factors can affect the reading: lighting conditions (e.g. sunlight), the underlayer (anti-static shoes, floor material, ladder etc.), or an AC supply that is not earthed.

USE
The voltage tester must only be used to troubleshoot and check electrical circuits with a voltage ranging from 6—380 V
Use

Hold one probe tip in each hand with your fingers behind the finqer guards. Make sure your hand does not cover the display window.

Move the probe tips away from each other to unfold the cord so that it hangs down without getting tangled. Do not wrap the cord around your fingers or wrists, or hang it on clothing or close to the body.

Put the probe tips on the terminals of the object to be checked. The indicator lamps go on if there is voltage between both points. If no indicator lamps go on, there is no voltage between the points on the object beinp checked.

The indicator lamps for the actual voltage range go on.
V “indicates AC voltage
V— indicates DC voltage. -
The polarity is shown by the indicator lamp for 6 V.
If the indicator lamp on the plus side goes on, the probe tip with the display window is applied to the positive terminal.
If the indicator lamp on the minus side quest on, the probe tip with the display window is applied to the negative terminal. -
After checking, lift the probe tips off the object and replace the voltage tester in its case. Clean the voltage tester with a dry cloth when necessary.
