SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the Installation Instructions carefully before use.
Save these instructions for future reference.

  • The product is intended to be connected to 230–240 VAC, 50 Hz. The electrical installation must comply with local regulations.
    For indoor use only. To be installed in a ceiling, out of of reach. Do not use in bathrooms, or wash rooms etc.

  • The mains connection should be fused with a 6 A fuse.

  • Consult an authorized electrician if in doubt. Disconnect the power supply before electrical installation.

  • Make sure that the power supply cannot be switched on by mistake.

  • Do not use bulbs with more than the permitted output (see type plate) – risk of overheating.

  • The product gets hot when in use. Leave the product switched off for at least 10 minutes before adjusting, cleaning or changing the bulb, otherwise there is a risk of burn injuries.

  • Handle glass parts with care. Clean with a dry cloth. Never use liquids or abrasive detergents.

  • The sticker below indicates the minimum free space round the product. No object should be placed closer than 0.5 m to the product.

  • Never modify the product in any way. Modifications can result in serious personal injury and void the warranty.

INSTALLATION

Spotlight with connecting wires and bulbs of Gu10 type.

Preparations

  • Check that there are no concealed electric cables or conduits where the installation is to be carried out.
  • Remove all the packaging material and check that all the parts are included. Follow these instructions when installing.
  • Check that all screw connections and electrical connections are tightened before use. The product can be connected to a dimmer.
  • Contact an authorized electrician for advice on a suitable type of dimmer.

Tools:

  • Flat and crosshead screwdrivers.
  • Drill and drills.
  • Stripping pliers for electric wires.
