IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions for use carefully before putting the device into operation for the first time and keep them, including the receipt and if possible, the packaging. If you pass on this device to other people, please also pass on the user manual to them.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  2. Children should not play with the appliance.

  3. Cleaning and maintenance of the device must not be done by children without supervision.

  4. Use the fan only for purposes described in the instruction manual.

  5. The appliance is intended exclusively for private, domestic use and for the intended purpose. This appliance is not suitable for professional use.

  6. Do not use the appliance outdoors.

  7. Always use on dry and flat surface.

  8. Keep the appliance away from heat sources, direct sunlight, moisture (never immerse it in any liquid) and sharp edges.

  9. Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks, swimming pools, etc. where it may get wet or come into contact with water.

  10. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the fan, plug or cord in water or any other liquid or spray with liquids.

  11. Unplug the power outlet when the fan is not in use, when you move the fan from one location to another before installing or removing components and before cleaning.

  12. Do not use the fan unattended. If you leave the room, you should always switch the appliance off.

  13. The protective grills are to prevent direct access to moving parts when the fan is in use Avoid contact with any moving parts.

  14. CAUTION: To avoid injury, do not place your fingers between the grilles when the appliance is plugged in or when it is turned on.

  15. CAUTION: Do not place clothes or other objects on the fan.

  16. CAUTION: Do not use the appliance near curtains.

  17. Periodically check the appliance and its cable for any damage.
    WARNING: Do not use the appliance if it has been damaged in any way or if there are any visible signs of damage to the appliance. To avoid possible danger, do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Contact a qualified technician for repair. Use only original spare parts.

  18. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Always contact an authorized technician.

  19. WARNING: Use only original spare parts. The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer of the device may cause hazards.

  20. Do not use the appliance if its surface is cracked.

  21. Do not use any appliance with worn cord plug, if the appliance is malfunctioning or damaged in any way.

  22. Do not let the power cord hang from the edge of a table or bench or come into contact with hot surfaces.

  23. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or by a qualified person to avoid danger.

  24. Do not use the appliance unless all its parts are fully assembled.

  25. Do not use the appliance next to flammable materials.

  26. In order to disconnect the power supply, grip the plug and pull from the wall outlet. DO NOT pull on the cord.

  27. Keep the appliance at a safe distance of at least 50 cm from other objects.

  28. Do not place the power cord under the carpet.

  29. Do not operate the appliance with an extension-cord or timer or with other devices that automatically turn on or off the device, risk of overheating and fire.

  30. CAUTION: Keep the appliance away from children and pets.

  31. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
    CAUTION: Do not allow small children to play with the foil. There is a danger of suffocation!

ASSEMBLY

  1. Thread the power line into the hole of the base.
  2. Insert the fan body on the base. Press gently until clips and body fits firmly in place.
  3. Loosen the back grille nut by turning counter clockwise from the motor shaft and remove it.
  4. Place rear grille on motor shaft (hanger should be at the top) and secure with rear mounting nut back grille nut.
  5. Slide blade on motor shaft and secure with blade cap by turning counter clockwise.
  6. Remove the screw which is placed on the back grille.
  7. Place front grille on rear grille (small round holes should match), close clips, and then fix together with screw provided using a screwdriver.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Set the fan on a dry, level surface.
  2. Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the power supply of your appliance corresponds exactly to the voltage of your electrical installation.
  3. Organize the power line and put it into the chassis trunk horizontally.
  4. Use the speed level rotary knob to turn on the fan. Select the desired operation speed level. Desk fan has 3 operation speed levels:
    • 1 (lowest speed operation)
    • 2 (medium speed operation)
    • 3 (highest speed operation)
  5. To turn the fan off, press ON/OFF button again.

SELECTION OF FAN TILT ANGLE
To adjust the desired fan angle, press gently the axis tilt up or down and select the angle.

OSCILLATION MODE

  1. Press down the oscillation bar located on the motor housing of the device to start fan oscillation.
  2. Pull the bar upwards to stop the oscillation of the fan.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Follow these instructions to correctly and safely care for your fan.

Please remember:

  1. Always unplug the fan before cleaning or assembly.
  2. Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.
  3. Be sure to use a soft cloth, moistened with a mild soap solution.
  4. Do not use hard, abrasive or corrosive detergents or solvents or any of the following as a cleaner: petrol, thinners or benzene to clean the device

FAN STORAGE

  • Your fan can be stored other partially disassembled or assembled. It is important to keep it in a safe, dry location.
  • If stored disassembled, we recommend using the original (or appropriately sized) packaging.
