SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with Physica l, sensorial or mental disable ilities or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use.

  • Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.

  • The product is only intended for household use.

  • Put the switch in the OFF position and pull out the plug when the product is not in use.

  • Do not run the power cord in front of the product.

  • The product must only be connected to a correctly installed and earthed power point. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.

  • Make sure to plug the plug firmly in the powerpoint. Do not touch the power cord or the plug with wet hands.

  • Do not route the power cord under carpets etc. Place the power cord so that there is no risk of treading on it, or tripping over it.

  • Do not expose children to the flow of air from the product for long periods.

  • Only use the product in a well-ventilated area.

  • Do not place the product near walls or corners, where incoming or outgoing air can be blocked.

  • Do not put the product near curtains, or other flammable materials -fire risk.

  • Do not expose the product to vibrations, knocks, or blows when in use.

  • The product is not intended to be controlled with an external timer or a separate remote control that can make the product start automatically.

  • Do not use longer than necessary extension cords. Always unwind the complete extension cord.

  • Do not connect other appliances to the
    same power point the product is using. Never leave the product unattended when plugged in. Keep children and pets at a safe distance.

  • Never put the product in a vehicle that is moving or on any other surface where there is a risk of it tipping over.

  • Place the product where the airflow cannot be blocked by furniture or curtains, etc.

  • Do not use the product in explosive environments, for example in the vicinity of flammable liquids, gas, or dust. Do not place the product near a naked flame or another source of heat.

  • Do not attempt to dismantle or repair the product. Repairs should be carried out by qualified personnel or an authorised service center.

  • A damaged power cord or plug must be replaced by an authorized service center, or other qualified personnel, to ensure safe use.

  • Switch off the product immediately and pull out the plug in the event of any abnormal noise, smell, smoke, or other sign of a problem.

WARNING

  • Some parts of the product get very hot – risk of burn injuries. Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders.
  • Do not put any foreign objects on the product.
  • Never poke your fingers or any other objects into the inlet or outlet openings.
  • Do not use the product near a bath, shower or swimming pool.
  • Do not cover the product, this can result in overheating.

INSTALLATION

NOTE:
The product is intended for installation on a wall. Do not attempt to use the product freestanding.

Install the product in accordance with the following instructions.

  1. Choose a place to install the product.
  2. Drill two holes in the wall with a diameter of 8 mm and a depth of 187 mm. FIG. 1anslut-023265-Bathroom-Heater-fig- \(1\)
  3. Put plugs in the holes and screw in the screws. Do not screw in the screws all the way, the screw heads should stick out about 10 mm.
  4. Hang up the product on the wall. Align the two holes on the back to the screws, put the product on the screws and press it down to lock in place.

USE

CONTROL PANEL

Switching on/off
Press the power switch to switch on (I) and switch off (0) the product.

NORMAL OPERATION

Fan and heating (control panel)

Press  F to select one of the following modes.

  1. The product goes in standby mode (fan stops after 30 seconds in standby mode).
  2. Fan without heat
  3. Heating half power
  4. Heating half power

The standard set temperature is 23°C when the status light ° C is off.

Fan and heat (remote control)
  • Press to start the product.
  • Press to select one of the following modes.
  1. Fan without heat
  2. Heating half power
  3. Heating half power
  4. Heating full power with oscillation

Press again to switch off the product.

Temperature setting (remote control)
  1. Press to start the product.
  2. Press+ or -to set the required temperature from 10 to 49° C (status light °Con).
    • The figure shows the display if the room temperature is 15°C and the set temperature is 25°C.  FIG. 6
  3. Press to delete the temperature setting (status light ° C off) and select heating at half power(*) or full power (**).
    • If the temperature is 4 °C, or more, below the set temperature the product will work at full power.
    • If the room temperature is between 0 and 2° c below the set temperature the product will work at half power.
    • The product switches off when the room temperature is higher than the set temperature. The fan continues to run for 30 seconds to cool the components in the product. The fan then stops and the product goes in standby mode. The product starts again when the room temperature drops more than 2°c below the set temperature.

Switching on/off (control panel and remote control}

Delayed start
Press to set the required delay from 1 to 12 hours (status light on).

  • The counter on the display counts down the hours. The product starts automatically after the set delay. The set standard temperature is 23°C.
  • If no temperature setting or weekly programming is made the product will run continuously for 12 hours and then go on standby.

Stop delay
Press to set the required stop delay from
1 to 12 hours (status light on). After the set delay, the product switches off automatically. The standard set temperature is 23° C.

Setting the clock (remote control)

  1. Press to start the product.
  2. Press SET to show hours.
  3. Press+ or – to set the hours (OO to 23).
  4. Press SET again to show minutes.
  5. Press+ or – to set the minutes (00 to 59).
  6. Press SET again to show days.
  7. Press+ or -to set the days.
    • d1 = Monday, d2 = Tuesday etc.
  8. Press OK to confirm.
  9. Press SET again to show the time and set temperature. The clock must be reset if there is a power failure.

Example: Wednesday 9.30, set temperature 25°C.

Weekly programming (remote control)

NOTE:

The clock must be set before programming.

  1. Press to start the product.
  2. Press “P” to go to weekly programming mode (status light “P” on).
  3. Press the DAY to enter the day of the week for programmed switching on (d1, d2 … d7).
  4. Press EDIT to select the required period (P1, P2 .. . P6).
  5. Press TIME/ON to set starting time (00, 01, 02 ,,, 24),
    • Minutes cannot be set.
  6. Press TIME/OFF to set switching off time (00, 01, 02 ,,, 24),
    • Minutes cannot be set. TIME/OFF cannot have a smaller value than TIME/ON.
  7. Press+ or – to set the temperature for the period.
  8. Press OK to confirm.
  9. Repeat steps 4 to 8 to set an additional period during the same day.
    • Up to 6 periods can be programmed for each day.
  10. Repeat steps 2 to 8 for settings for other days.
  11. Press “P” to activate the weekly program (status light P on) or to deactivate it (P off).
  12. When the programming is finished the settings can be checked by pressing DAY/EDIT TIME/ON and TIME/OFF.

NOTE:

  • If the start time is the same as the switching-off time the product goes on standby.
  • If no temperature setting is made the standard setting of 23°C will be used. If the room temperature is higher than 23°C the product will not start.
  • The weekly programming is deleted if the product is switched off.

Example: Monday, first period 07:00 to 13:00.

The setting for detection of temperature drop (remote control)

  1. Press to start the product and allow it to run in heating mode until it stabilizes.
  2. Press to activate detection of temperature drop mode (status light on).
  3. Press+ or – to set the temperature for detection of temperature drop.
  4. Press to deactivate detection of temperature drop mode (status light off).

  • If the room temperature drops by the specified value between 5 and 70°C in less than 10 minutes the product goes on
    standby. Press to start the product again.

  • If the detection of temperature drops and the weekly program are active at the same time the product will not start if it is switched off by the weekly program. If the product is started by the weekly program it will continue to run at the set temperature even if a temperature drop is detected.

  • If For example detection of temperature drop is activated when the product is started by a weekly program on Monday between 09.00 and 10.00, with a set temperature of 28°C, the product will switch off if the temperature drops to 23°C or lower during the period between 09.00. and 10.00. The product goes on standby the rest of the time.

Remote control
  1. Open the battery cover by pushing it down.
  2. Insert the battery (CR2025, 3 V) with the correct polarity as shown by the marking in the battery compartment, see figure.

NOTE:
The buttons on the remote control have the same functions as the buttons on the control panel.

MAINTENANCE

  • Do not use solvents or chemicals that can damage the plastic parts.
  • Allow the product to cool before handling and/or cleaning.
  • Make sure that no water or any other liquid gets into the electrical parts – the risk of fire and/or electric shock.
  • Clean the outside of the product with a soft cloth, and moistened it with a mild detergent.
  • Clean air inlet and air outlet at regular intervals.
