Read the complete user manual before carrying out the installation and activating the system.
DESCRIPTION
The rotary button extension is used to control the universal flush-mounting
rotary button dimmer plus 5 – 325 W (310-0190x) from another location. This
device is not suitable for the control of motors.
You can connect up to five extra rotary button extensions to this dimmer.
Consult the flush-mounting rotary button dimmer manual for more information
about this product.
The central plate with the control button and the flush surround plate must be
ordered separately.
INSTALLATION
Danger : Disconnect all power before installing the rotary button
extension. Do not connect the device to the mains voltage until installation
has been completed (including the central plate and flush surround plate).
Tip: Install the rotary button extension in an environment with a non-
condensing atmospheric humidity (30 – 70%).

Connect the rotary button extension to the flush-mounting rotary button dimmer according to one of the wiring diagrams below:

230 Vac load several control points 12 V transformer This product must be secured with a miniature circuit breaker (MCB) of max. 16 A in the electrical cabinet. The MCB rating is limited by national installation rules. -
Connect the three connection terminals (N, L, 1) of the dimmer to the corresponding connection terminals of the rotary button extension.

Mount the rotary button extension in a flush-mounting box with a flush-mounting depth of at least 40 mm.

Secure all parts as shown below:
OPERATION AND USE
Use of the control button | Result |

rotating | You adjust the light intensity. |
As soon as you reach the maximum fight intensity, the dimming level remains
unchanged.
rotating guiddy| You produce a rapid decrease or increase in the light
intensity.
rotating slowly| You adjust the light intensity with more precision.
Attention : The rotary button extension is never electrically separated from the mains voltage. All parts remain connected to the mains voltage even if the load (e.g. the light) is off. This also applies to the 1 connection wire.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The operation of the rotary button extension can be disturbed by very high
signals that are sent over the mains.
This is not a defect.

- The MCB rating is limited by national installation rules.
Warnings regarding installation
The installation of products that will permanently be part of the electrical
installation and which include dangerous voltages, should be carried out by a
qualified installer and in accordance with the applicable regulations. This
user manual must be presented to the user. It should be included in the
electrical installation file and it should be passed on to any new owners.
