Product Usage Instructions
Default Hot Keys
Hold the FN key and press the following keys to activate.
- FN+A: Windows System
- FN+S: Mac System
LED Setting Keys
- FN+A : Windows System

Device Firmware Upgrade Mode
To enter DFU mode, hold the ESC key in wired mode and plug in the USB cable.
Pairing Method
- Toggle the mode switch to the middle (wired mode).
- Insert the USB cable into your computer.
- The keyboard backlight will light up indicating a successful connection.

Pairing Instructions
USB Wired/BT5.0/2.4G Tri Mode Pairing Method Wired Mode
- Please toggle the mode switch to the middle (wired mode ). and then insert the USB cable into your computer, the keyboard backlight lights on and turns to the default RGB backlight effect, which means the connection is successful.
Bluetooth® Pairing Instructions
Perform the following steps to pair this keyboard with your device(s).
- This Bluetooth keyboard can be paired with up to three devices at the same time. Please toggle the mode switch to the Bluetooth mode. (From left to right are BT →Wired →2.4Ghz). Q key W key or E key will flash.
- Long press FN + Q or FN+W or FN+E for 3~5 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- At this time, the Q /W/E key will flash blue quickly indicating that the keyboard is ready to connect.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and scan for available devices.
- Locate and select the device name entry. “CIDOO QK61-1” for FN+Q ; “CIDOO QK61-2” for FN+W , “CIDOO QK61-3” for FN+E .
- Once the keyboard has connected to your device, the Q/W/E key will cease flashing, and light on after Bluetooth pairing was successful. Short press “FN” and “Q” or “FN” and “W” or “FN” and “E” keys to switch paired Bluetooth devices.
- The Bluetooth connection has memory. It will disconnect when the power is off the keyboard, and the keyboard will re-connect to the last device when the power is on the keyboard again.
2.4G mode Usage method:
- Please toggle the mode switch to 2.4Ghz mode. From left to right are BT →Wired→ 2.4Ghz T. The” R” key will flash green.
- Plug the receiver into the USB port of the device . The “R “ key will cease flashing and the keyboard backlight will turn to the default RGB backlight effect, which means the connection is successful.
2.4Ghz pairing instruction
- The keyboard 2.4Ghz mode is default paired. If you need to re-pair 2.4Ghz mode , Please perform the following operations:
- Long press the FN+R key to enter 2.4g pairing mode. At this time, the “R” key flashes a green color quickly. Insert 2.4G dongle to USB port.
- After the connection is successful, the “R” key stops blinking goes to a steady color, and turns to the default RGB backlight effect, which means the connection is successful.
Auto sleep mode
- In Bluetooth and 2.4G mode, after 5 minutes without the key press, the backlight will turn off to conserve the battery, any key press will awaken the keyboard.
- In Bluetooth mode, the deep sleep mode will be entered after 30 minutes without a key press, and the Bluetooth is disconnected. Press any key to exit the deep sleep mode, and the RGB backlight will turn up and connect back to Bluetooth.
Battery Charging Indicator:
- When the battery power of the keyboard is low (the battery power is less than 3.5V), the FN key will keep flashing red reminding low battery.
Battery level check
- Press and hold FN+ SHIFT_R can check the battery and charging status of the battery level indicator. From! 1 to )0 stands for 10%~100% ( estimate only ) un-hold to exit.
- The right SHIFT key light on red indicates that the keyboard is charging; the Right SHIFT Key will back to the default backlight when fully charged or un-charge.
Custom Configuration
- CIDOO QK61 supports remapping the keys via QMK/VIA firmware in wired mode and 2.4G mode
- Note Make sure your keyboard is properly plugged into your computer device
VIA installation steps see below:
- Please visit “https://github.com/WestBerryVIA/via-releases/releases” to download the latest VIA application for your computer’s OS here.
- Download JSON files from the CIDOO website and click load to Import JSON files accordingly . See the following photo.
- Installation is completed and VIA software connected successfully as shown below picture.
- If the VIA software cannot recognize your keyboard, please reach out to our support to get the instructions.
- VIA automatically detects your compatible keyboard if it’s plugged in. Keyboard memory is persistent, which means that wherever you plug in a keyboard, it remembers the settings.
- On the top half of VIA software, choose one key with your mouse, and then select the key that you wanted on the bottom half of VIA software, and it was affected.
- Firstly switch to the VIA software key tester table, there is no background color before you press any keys, when you want to test this key you have programmed, press it and the background color will change to red color means it works, otherwise it will not work.

Macros setting
- CIDOO QK61 does not have physical multimedia keys, you can remap the keys through the VIA software to achieve the function.
- CIDOO QK61 is configured with 4 layers from 0 to 3 by default, and each key can have multiple functions.
- This is important for smaller keyboards, where there aren’t enough physical keys to do all the functionality you need.
Special keys setting
- Here you can remap the key to replace the special key to the key you want, to achieve the quick operation of the function.
- CIDOO QK61 VIA software provides many different RGB lighting effects by default. You can change the lighting brightness, speed, and color and customize the lighting effect you want.
- You can also change the key to operate the lighting effect you set.
Others custom
- CIDOO QK61 provides other customized remaps to other functional keys.
- CIDOO QK61 default customized 0-3 layer keyboard layout.
- Layer0: This layer will be activated when your keyboard is connected to the Windows system.
- Layer0: This layer will be activated when your keyboard is connected to the Mac system.
- Left Alt=Left Option Left Win=Left Command Right Alt= Right Option
- Layer 1: This layer will be activated when your keyboard’s system toggle is switched to Windows or Mac and press the Fn1(3) key.
- Layer 2: This layer will be activated when your keyboard’s system toggle is switched to Windows or Mac and keymapping any keys to MO(2) and then pressing it.
- Layer 3: This layer will be activated when your keyboard’s system toggle switches to Windows or Mac keymaps any keys to MO(3) and then presses it.
