INTENDED USE

  1. The device is intended for hair shortening and styling.
    It features a built-in cutting length adjustment function in the form of removable comb attachments.

  2. Following the instructions in this manual will ensure safe installation and use of the device.

  3. The device is intended for household use only and must not be used for commercial purposes.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Hair clipper can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  3. WARNING! Keep the device dry.
  4. WARNING! Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
  5. Before use, read the manual carefully, paying particular attention to the safety instructions.
  6. The device is intended for household use only. Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than its intended use .
  7. The device is not a toy.
  8. Before using the device, ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the power supply label of the device.
  9. Extend the power cord carefully before using the device.
  10. Do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged.

  12. Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
  13. Do not use the device if it is damaged or faulty.

  17. Do not use the device if you have skin inflammation.
  18. Do not use the clipper for cutting wet hair.
  19. Do not use the device for clipping animal hair.
  20. ATTENTION! Regularly lubricate the clipper blades with oil.

Open the packaging and carefully take out the device. Make sure that the set is complete and that its components are undamaged. Check that the plastic parts are intact. If any part is damaged or missing, contact the dealer and do not use the product. Keep the packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.
Caution! For safety, keep the packaging parts (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, Styrofoam etc.) out of children’s reach. Risk of suffocation!

USE

7.1 Turning the device on/off

  1. To turn the device on, slide the on/off switch towards the I position.

7.2 Changing the comb attachment
The hair clipper has 4 different comb attachments: 3, 6, 9, and 12 mm.

  1. Make sure that the device is unplugged from the mains and that the on/off switch is in the 0 position.
  2. Remove the cover, if installed. Lift it with your thumb.
  3. Select the required attachment.
  4. Place the attachment on the shaving head and press it down firmly. It will click into place.

7.3 Grading adjustment

  1. By lifting the lever for sliding the grading system in/ out, you lower the cutting length.
  2. By lowering the lever for sliding the grading system in/out, you increase the cutting length.

7.4 Cutting
The selected cutting length is determined by the size of the comb attachment and the position of the lever for sliding the grading system in/out.

  1. Install the comb attachment on the shaving head with the grading system, if necessary. Follow the instructions in section 7.2 Changing the comb attachment.
  2. Use the lever for sliding the grading system in/out in order to adjust the cutting length.
  3. Turn the device on by sliding the on/off switch towards the I position.

  5. After cutting, turn the clipper off by sliding the on/ off switch towards the 0 position. Disconnect the appliance’s plug from the power socket.

  7. Use the brush to clean hair from the shaving head and the attachment.

7.5 Tips for hair clipping

  1. It is recommended to start clipping with the 12 mm comb attachment installed. As you grow more proficient with the device, you can select other attachments as required, going to the next longest attachment, i.e. to the 9 mm, 6 mm and eventually 3 mm comb attachment.

  2. Never move the device quickly over hair during clipping.

  3. Before cutting, comb hair so it is arranged naturally.

  4. Start clipping hair from the bottom of the head and work your way up.

  5. Hold the device slightly under the hair so that the comb attachment teeth point up and lay flat on the head.

  6. Repeat on the sides and the back of the head.

  7. Using the device and clipping hair require practice.
    Therefore, we recommend that you leave hair longer than desired the first time you use the device.

  8. After clipping, cut any remaining individual hairs with scissors (not included).

CLEANING AND CARE

Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the lifespan of the appliance.
Warning! Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn the device off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down, so as to avoid burns and electrocution.

  1. Use a damp cloth to clean the device casing.
  2. Use the clearing brush to remove hair from the blades.
  3. Do not clean the device with any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
  4. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.

Cleaning the shaving head

  1. Make sure that the hair clipper is off by sliding the on / off switch towards the 0 position and disconnect the device from the power source.
  2. If it is necessary, remove the comb attachment.
  3. Clean the blades.

8.1 Use of maintenance oil:
Warnings!

  • Do not eat the preservative oil. If the oil has been accidentally swallowed, contact a doctor immediately. Don’t try to force vomiting.
  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
  • If the oil gets into your eyes, immediately rinse your eyes with water for 15-20 minutes. Consult a physician if necessary.
  • Ensure proper air ventilation during use.
  • Ensure proper hygiene after use. Wash your hands after use, especially before having a meal.
  • Store in the original packaging with the cap tightly closed.
  • Store in a dry and cool place, away from sources of ignition, fire and direct sunlight.
  • Store away from food, flammable substances and oxidants.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

Lubrication
Blades should be oiled regularly to ensure proper operation.
Use the preservative oil included in the kit.
Do not use hair oils, fat, oils mixed with purified kerosene or other solvents. Solvents volatilize, leaving sticky residue that can cause slower blade movement.

  1. Make sure that the device is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the cap if it is attached.
  3. Oil the blades with a few drops of preservative oil.
  4. Turn on the device for a few seconds, or move the shading system up and down so that the preserving oil spreads over the blades.
  5. Remove excess preserving oil with a paper towel (when the machine is switched off).
  6. Wash your hands.

REPAIR

The appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair the appliance on your own. Always have the appliance repaired by a professional.
If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer, authorized customer service or other qualified personnel to prevent any risk of injury.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

  1. It is recommended that the device be stored in its original packaging.
  2. Always store the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated room, out of children’s reach.
  3. During transport, protect the appliance against vibration and shock.

DISPOSAL

Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as the materials can pose a hazard.
The packaging should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Correct disposal of the device:

  1. According to the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, **** the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol is used to label all electric and electronic devices requiring segregation.
  2. Do not dispose of the spent product with domestic waste: hand it over to an electric and electronic device collection and recycling centre.
  3. Hazardous components in electronic and electrical equipment have a negative impact on the environment and human health.
  4. Plastics contained in the device can be recycled in accordance with the specific marking. By recycling materials and spent equipment you will help to protect the environment.
  5. Information on electric and electronic devices collection centres is available from local government agencies or from the vendor.

This device has been designed, manufactured and marketed in accordance with the requirements of the New Approach Directives. Therefore, the product has been marked with the CE mark and a declaration of conformity has been issued for it, which is made available to market regulators.

  1. The Manufacturer of this product grants a 36-month warranty valid from the purchase date. Should you find any defect, submit a complaint at the place of purchase.
  2. A defective/damaged product means a product failing to provide the features described in the Instruction Manual due to intrinsic properties of the appliance.
  3. The Beneficiary under the warranty shall deliver the appliance to the Customer Service Point at a relevant store in order to submit a complaint about the equipment. When asserting your rights under the warranty, you need to present proof of  purchase (purchase receipt, invoice) together with a description of the device defect in as much detail as possible, in particular of the external manifestations of the defect.
  4. The warranty excludes products with physical damage other than that caused by the manufacturer or distributor, including specifically any damage resulting from incorrect usage or force majeure.
