Product Usage Instructions
Supply Voltage Connection
Connect the power connector using a conductor with a minimum 2.5mm2 cross- section. The power connector should be connected as follows:
- Connect the +24VDC supply to the plus terminal.
- Connect the functional ground (GND) to the ground terminal.
- Connect the -24VDC supply to the minus terminal.
HASP KEY USB PORT
To enable cameras and licenses, insert the provided Hasp key into the USB port labelled USB5, located behind the front cover of the product.
Status LEDs and Buttons
The product has the following LEDs and buttons:
- Power LED: Green
- HDD LED: Yellow
- Link LED: Yellow
- Run LED: Green
- Power Button: Press and release to turn on/off the unit. Press and hold to force shutdown.
- Reset Button: Triggers a hardware and PCI reset.
Communications
The camera communication uses a Cat6 Ethernet cable and provides power over Ethernet (POE) for M1xx and E1xx cameras. Only use Datalogic-provided cables for this purpose.
Digital I/O Cables Terminals and Connections
The digital I/O connections are made using a 37-pin D-Sub connector. The pin/terminal numbers and colour codes are as follows:

I/O Configuration
The Vision Program Manager (VPM) software installed on the processor is used to create vision programs and configure input and output responses. Please refer to the Impact Reference Guide for programming details.
Camera Cables and Terminals Configuration
The camera trigger and strobe output are provided by an external 6-pin I/O cable with no connection to the Industrial Vision Processor. You can use either cable 606-0672-xx (unterminated) or cable 606-0674-xx (with terminal block 661-0399 or 248-0140). Please refer to the MX-E Series Hardware Guide for more information.

The Industrial Vision Processor has seals in some areas. The seals must not be broken or removed for any reason. The sealed parts may be opened only and exclusively by Datalogic. Breakage of these seals by a customer shall result in immediate cancellation of the warranty on the entire Industrial Vision Processor.
