Remove all the components from their packaging; check their integrity and
compare them with all the packing documents.
CAUTION
Keep the original packaging for use when sending products to the technical
assistance center. Damage caused by improper packaging is not covered under
the warranty.

Vehicle Dock
Mount the Ram Mount Adjustable Arm
The Ram Mount Adjustable Arm is available as optional accessory (P/N
94ACC0075) and allows wide range of rotation for the dock. It can be mounted
on any flat surface while the ball joints enable position flexibility.
- Align the adjustable arm with the two screw holes on the rear of the dock as shown in the figure below:
- Secure the adjustable arm to the rear of the dock using two screws M5X10 and two nuts M5:
CAUTION
Install only on properly grounded mobile platforms. If this dock is used on an
electric vehicle, ensure that no part of the dock and PDA can come into
contact with the vehicle chassis. Electrical discharges can develop on these
vehicles, which can damage the dock and/or PDA.
CAUTION
Do not install the dock on or near an airbag cover plate or a blower.
Do not install it in a location that may affect vehicle safety, visibility and
driveability.
Power the Dock
- Plug in the cigarette lighter adapter¹ into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter.
- Insert the cigarette lighter adapter output plug in the dock power jack (see figure below). When the dock is powered, the Power ON LED lights up solid green.
CAUTION
Make sure your vehicle’s power source is between 10 to 30 VDC, and is capable
of supporting a 4000mA current drain. If you have any concerns regarding this,
refer to your vehicle owner’s manual.
CAUTION
The cigarette lighter adapter must not be used if the battery car is fully
depleted.
NOTE
To reduce quiescent current and extend battery life, disconnect the dock when
the car is not powered.

Charge the Memor 10
To insert the Memor 10 into the dock, the rubber boot is needed.
The rubber boot provides additional protection to the device and is available
as optional accessory (P/N 94ACC0193 for; standard models; P/N 94ACC0204 for
healthcare models).
Insert the Memor 10 with the rubber boot into the dock with the screen facing front and the head facing up.
CAUTION
Make sure there is nothing between the dock and the device.
Do not put any foreign object such as, but not limited to, coins, paper clips,
stickers inside the slot of any of the docks.
Do not apply any sticker to the Memor 10 (see the examples below).
WARNING
Do not attempt to charge any other device different from the Memor 10 devices.
CAUTION
Do not use the Memor 10 while driving. The user is responsible for driving
safely.

CAUTION
In case of FOD led blinking, remove the foreign object.
