- ONLY use this product for its intended purpose, removing and installing bushes and bearings.
- DO NOT allow use by children, by persons whose mental or physical condition precludes safe use, or by persons unfamiliar with this product and its compatible vehicle systems.
- DO NOT use while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that negatively affects your judgment or reflexes. Keep children and bystanders away during use.
- Keep your work site clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark work areas invite accidents.
- For best results, keep the kit clean and dry. Remove any fluid, oil, or grease before and after work.
- ALWAYS use personal protective equipment (PPE) suitable to your task. ALWAYS wear ANSI and OSHA-approved eye, breathing, and hand protection while using this product. Normal use of this product typically produces microscopic particles known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Nonslip footwear is also highly recommended. Other equipment such as ear, head, and body protection may also be necessary depending on your work, work environment, and other equipment.
- Dress properly for automotive servicing. DO NOT wear loose clothing or jewelry and keep hair, clothing, gloves, hoses, and tools away from any moving parts during use.
- ALWAYS know and understand the specific safety warnings and instructions for your vehicle before using this kit. Use the correct fluids, pressures, adapters, etc. for your vehicle. Make sure the vehicle is fully supported and parked before beginning any work. Take care to NEVER touch any heated surface with exposed skin.

- NEVER use power or pneumatic tools with this tool.
- In case of an accident or injury, have a first aid kit and a communication device (e.g., a phone) readily available. Know the location of emergency medical facilities.
- Maintain this product. Check for misalignment, binding, wear, or other damage before use. If any damage is detected, repair or replace the problematic components before further use. In a large shop, mark such tools “DO NOT USE” until they have been repaired. ONLY replace components with identical parts.
- Automotive repair is an inherently dangerous activity. This manual and the separate vehicle service manual cannot cover all possible situations that may arise. ALWAYS exercise discretion and good judgement. Seek training if needed.

Operation
Removing Bush & Bearing
- Park your vehicle and lift it up using a car lift or a jack. Remove all the assemblies and accessories on the control arm you’re to service.
- Pick out the thickest of the pulling spindles (A) that will fit through the bush or bearing.
- Lubricate the chosen spindle and its nuts with quality molybdenum disulfide.
- Choose a correct sized press sleeve (B) for pressing out the bush or bearing.
- Warning: The outer diameter of the sleeve MUST be wider than the inner diameter of the bush or bearing, but narrower than the outer diameter of the bush or bearing.
- Choose a correct sized sleeve to remove the bush or bearing.
- Warning: The outer diameter of the sleeve MUST be no wider than the control arm so they press tight and square. The inner diameter of the sleeve MUST be wide enough to receive the bush or bearing as it is pressed out.
- Arrange the press and removal sleeves and the pulling spindle as shown, aligning them so that they stay aligned as you drive the nuts on both ends.
- Warning: Note that the tool can be used on bush or bearing in situ or on vise, depending on your specific condition.
- Align the viewing slots on both sleeves so you can watch the removal.
- Use your rachets to drive the nuts towards the control arm, steadily forcing the bearing or bush out.
- Unscrew and remove the nuts to release sleeves and retrieve bush or bearing.
Installing Bush & Bearing
- Pick out the thickest of the pulling spindles (A) that will fit through the bush or bearing.
- Lubricate the chosen spindle and its nuts with quality molybdenum disulfide.
- Choose a correct sized press sleeve (B) for pressing in the bush or bearing.
- Warning: The outer diameter of the sleeve MUST be wider than the inner diameter of the bush or bearing, but narrower that the outer diameter of the bush or bearing.
- Choose a correct sized installation sleeve.
- Warning: The outer diameter of the sleeve MUST be no wider than the control arm so they press tight and square.
- Gently press the chosen installation sleeve against the control arm.
- Remove the nuts on the chosen spindles and feed it through the installation sleeve and control arm. Reinstall one of the removed nuts on the side of the installation sleeve.
- Fit the bearing or bush, press sleeve, and the remaining nut onto the spindle from the other side of the control arm. Pre-tighten the nut so the sleeve is perfectly aligned with the bush or bearing.
- Turn the sleeves clockwise so that you can see the bush or bearing being pushed into the control arm.
- Use your rachets to drive the nuts towards the control arm, steadily forcing the bearing or bush until it is flush with the control arm.
Maintenance
- Clean the tools with a soft damp cloth using a mild detergent or solution after use. Do not rinse them or use abrasive cleaners or caustic chemicals.
