Product Usage Instructions
To use the XLG-240 series 240W Constant Power Mode LED Driver, follow these instructions:
- Ensure that the input voltage range is within 100 ~ 305VAC or 142 ~ 431VDC.
- Connect the AC/N (Blue), AC/L (Brown), and FG (Green/Yellow) wires to the appropriate power source.
- Connect the V+ (Red) and V- (Black) wires to the LED module.
- If using the AB-Type, connect the DIM+ (Purple) and DIM- (Pink) wires to the dimming source.
- Adjust the output constant current level by applying one of the three methodologies between DIM+ and DIM-. You can use either a 0 ~ 10VDC signal, a 10V PWM signal, or a resistance.
- Directly connect the LEDs to the driver. Additional drivers are not recommended.
- Ensure that the load is within the specified constant current range for your model. Refer to the SPECIFICATION section in the user manual for details.
- Verify that the input voltage, frequency, and power factor are within the specified ranges for optimal performance. Refer to the STATIC CHARACTERISTIC, Power Factor Characteristic, and TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION (THD) sections in the user manual for more information.
- Monitor the current ripple and adjust if necessary to maintain a stable operation. The recommended current ripple is 5.0% at 50% rated voltage.
- Refer to the DIMMING OPERATION section in the user manual for instructions on dimming functionality (applicable only for AB-Type).
For more detailed information, including block diagram and performance regions, please refer to the XLG-240 series user manual.

Description
XLG-240 series is a 240W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant power mode. XLG-240 operates from 100-305VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 700mA and 6.66A. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40 C —+90 oc case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. Moreover the innovative environment-adaptive capability allows this series to reliably light on the LEDs for all kinds of application environments in almost any spots that may install LED luminaires in the world. XLG-240 is designed with the latest version of IEC61347/GB7000.1-2015 and UL8750 international safety regulations. The output and dimming circuit are also completely in accordance with the new regulations with isolation to ensure the user and luminaire system safety durng installation.

Operating Area
DIMMING OPERATION
3 in 1 dimming function (for AB•Type)
- Output constant current level can be adjusted by applying one of the three methodologies between DIM+ and DIM-: 0 — IOVDC, or IOV PWM signal or resistance.
- Direct connecting to LEDs is suggested. It is not suitable to be used with additional drivers.
- Dimming source current from power supply: 100 u A (typ.)
Note:
- Min. dimming level is about 8% and the output current is not defined when
- The output current could drop down to 0% when the dimming input is about 0kQ or OVdc, or IOV PWM signal with 0% duty cycle.
- When PWM frequency >2K HZ, the lighting will be triggered at 10—15% PWM duty.
OUTPUT LOAD vs TEMPERATURE
Note :
- 1f XLG-240 operates in Constant Power mode with the rated current the maximum workable Ta is 500C (Typ. 230VAC) or 400C (Typ. 110VAC)
- 1t may have a soft-start status when operation at -300C full load and IIOVAC input condition
- STATIC CHARACTERISTIC
- POWER FACTOR (PF) CHARACTERISTiC
- TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION (THDj
- EFFICIENCY vs LOAD
XLG-240 series possess superior working efficiency that up to 93% can be reached in field applications.
