Product Usage Instructions

Cleaning Instructions:

  1. Disconnect and remove the battery from the zipper pocket.
  2. Put the connector back and zip up the vest
  3. Use a mesh laundry bag for washing.
  4. Line dry or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water.
  5. Hand wash with cold water.
  6. Do not iron, bleach, dry clean, wring, or twist the vest.

Battery Charging:

  1. Press the battery button to check the remaining power level or charging level.
  2. Remove the battery from the apparel before charging and connect it with the charger.
  3. It takes about 5-6 hours to fully charge a completely empty battery.

Heatech APP Operation:

  1. Open the Heatech APP and allow location permission as prompted.
  2. Click on the icon in the upper left corner to enter the device page and connect to the heated clothing device.
  3. Perform operations such as turning the device on or off, setting gear position, adjusting backlight, and setting countdown timer.
  4. Minimum countdown time is 15 minutes and maximum is 6 hours.

Operation Instruction

  1. Connect the battery to the power cable located in the pocket.
  2. To turn on, press and hold single for 3 seconds.
  3. Press the power button to switch heating levels between High (red led light), Medium (blue led light) and Low (green led light).
  4. To turn off, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the LED lights turn off.

The heating level can be adjusted by pressing the power button. Each press will cycle through the apparel’s temperature settings. At a room temperature of 77°F/25°C, the heat will rise to 122-131°F/50-55°C on high, 113-122°F/45-50°C on medium, and 104-113°F/40-45°C on low.

BATTERY CHARGING

  1. Press the battery button to check the remaining power level or charging level.
  2. Remove battery from the apparel before charging and connect battery with charger.
  3.  It takes about 5-6 hours to fully charge a completely empty battery.

NOTE :

  • Do not freeze or immerse the battery in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave, incinerate or paint the battery.
  • Do not store your battery with metal objects, such as coins, keys or necklaces. If the battery terminals come in contact with metal objects, this may cause a fire.
  • Recommended operating temperature of 14°F to 86°F(-10°C to 45°C).
  • Fully charge before first use.
  • Fully charge every 6 months if not in use to preserve the battery life.
  • Keep the battery away from moisture. Store the battery pack where the relative humidity is 60 ± 15% RH.

APP operation pages and instructions

  1. Open the Heatech APP and enter the main page as shown in the figure below. (Upon first installation, location permission will be prompted and must be allowed.KEMIMOTO-F1117-07201-Heated-Vest- \(8\)

  2. Click on the icon in the upper left corner to enter the device page. The App will automatically search for nearby heated clothing devices, as shown in the figure below.

  3. The types of devices include Cloth, Glove, Vest, and other series of devices. The App displays the device name as the type followed by the last four digits of the Mac address.

  4. In the “Available devices” module, simply click on the device name to automatically connect to the device and display it in the “List of paired devices” module.

  5. In the “List of paired devices” module, you can view the current status and battery level of the device, as well as modify the name, refresh, and delete operations.
    If the device is powered off or not connected, the device icon will be displayed in white. If the device is powered on and connected, the icon will be displayed in red.
    Edit: Click Edit to edit the selected device name, up to a maximum of 14 characters. If the name is blank when saved, it will be modified back to the default name.
    Refresh: Generally used when the device is powered on again, clicking Refresh can quickly connect to it.
    Delete: Click Delete to delete the selected device. After deletion, the “List of paired devices” module will no longer display the device, but it can be reconnected in the “Available devices” module.

  7. On the main page, you can perform operations such as turning the device on or off, setting the gear position, adjusting the backlight, and setting the countdown timer.

  8. All connected device types will be displayed on the main page. “Select All” can be used to select all or deselect all.

  9. Different temperature values can be set on the temperature disk, with a default range of 35℃-55℃(95℉-131℉).

  10. When switching to different gears, the device icon will display different colors accordingly, and the colors will be synchronized with the device’s LED backlight.

  11. Click the switch to turn on/off the selected device. The device icon will turn white when turned off and red when turned on.

  12. Click the backlight switch to turn the backlight on/off for the selected device. When the backlight is turned off, switching gears or pressing the device button will cause it to  briefly light up for 2-3 seconds before automatically turning off.

  13. Set the countdown time and click OK to start the countdown operation. The device will automatically shut down after the countdown ends. Currently, the minimum countdown time is 15 minutes and the maximum is 6 hours.KEMIMOTO-F1117-07201-Heated-Vest- \(10\)

  14. In the settings page, you can set the temperature unit and view the “About Us” page.

  15. Static detection sensor: Users can customize the three-axis function of the device to be turned off. After turning off, even if the device is inactive for ten minutes, it will not automatically shut down.

  16. Temperature Unit: Set the temperature unit according to actual needs, which can be set to ℃ or ℉. After adjustment, the temperature on the main page will respond accordingly.

  3. The device will automatically shut down after ten minutes of inactivity. This feature can be disabled in the settings if not needed.

3| Short backlight lighting time| The backlight function has been turned off.| In the App, set the backlight switch. If the backlight is off, it will automatically turn on for 3 seconds when using the button or setting the temperature in the App.
4| Device powers on normally but not displayed in APP|

  1. The device is not paired.
  2. The device is paired but not connected.

  1. Add the device from the online devices to the paired devices.

  • Do not allow the cords to be pinched or forced pull out.
  • Not recommended to wear over bare skin.
  • Never use it if inner liner is wet.
  • Turn off the power immediately if discomfort occurs.
