Dry ironing
To dry iron without steam, turn the thermostat knob and set it between the and
MAX positions, depending on the type of fabric. For best results, wait for the
heating indicator light to turn off. Do not press the steam control.
Steam ironing
To steam iron, turn the thermostat knob and set it between the MAX and
position, depending on the type of fabric. Select your level of steam flow.
Wait for the heating indicator light to turn off before starting to iron.
Remember to press the steam control to use this function.
Note:
- The boiler pressure increases according to the selected steam flow level. The selected steam flow indicator light flashes whilst heating up, then remains steadily lit when the boiler is ready.
- A few drops of water may drip from the soleplate when the station is switched on. This is due to any steam condensation that has accumulated inside the steam cable after your previous use. Simply hold the iron over an old rag and press the steam control until the station generates steam. During use, if you notice any particles escaping from the soleplate, we recommend descaling the boiler.
Vertical steam
Set the thermostat to MAX and then vertically position the iron in such a way
that it is facing the garment, then press the steam control for 10-second
intervals.
Steam boost function
Turn the thermostat knob and set it between the MAX and position, depending on
the type of fabric. Select high steam flow mode. Wait for the heating
indicator light to turn off before starting to iron.
Note: You must wait 15 seconds between each double press of the button.
Automatic shutdown of the station
If the station is not used for 10 minutes, then the unit will beep and switch
off automatically. Press the power button to turn your steam station back on
again.
Station shutdown and storage
- Turn your iron’s thermostat knob to the MIN position. Place your iron on its iron rest, then lock it into position. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to switch off the station. Unplug the station and let it fully cool down before putting it away.
- Wind the power cable and the steam cable around the station, making sure that each cable fits into the cable storage space.
- After each use, remove the water tank from its housing, then empty any water remaining in the tank into the sink.
WARNING!
Whilst the unit is in use, the surfaces can become hot enough to potentially
cause burns. Do not touch the unit’s hot surfaces. Do not direct the iron-
generated steam towards people or animals.
Ironing tips
- Always refer to the labels on your clothes to choose the suitable ironing setting. Always set the ironing temperature to that recommended on the care/ironing labels found on clothing and other textiles (sheets, curtains, etc.).
- For synthetics, blends and silk, we recommend choosing the lowest setting.
- Never iron over zips, studs or any other metal decorations, as this will damage the iron’s soleplate.
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
Remove the plug from the main socket, then let the unit fully cool down before
cleaning it.
Clean the unit’s exterior and soleplate with a soft, dry cloth. You can also clean them with a cloth dampened with a neutral pH product, then dry them with a clean, dry cloth.
Descaling the boiler
To maintain its efficiency and avoid any limescale discharge, it is essential
that the steam station be descaled and the boiler rinsed whenever the boiler
descaling indicator light turns on.
- Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to switch off your unit. Let the unit cool down completely before starting the descaling operation.
- Move the unit near to a sink and make sure that it is placed on a flat, stable surface. Remove the water tank from its housing.
(7) Turn the unit over and unscrew the drain plug.
Drain plug
- Empty the water contained in the boiler.
- Pour two glasses of water into the boiler, then screw the drain plug back on.
- Return the unit to its original position and place the iron on a flat surface.
- Hold the station with both hands and shake it gently for 30 seconds. Next, unscrew the drain plug and drain the water. If the water coming out of the boiler is not clear, repeat this operation until the water runs clear.
- Once you have finished, screw the drain plug back on and place your iron back on its iron rest, whilst making sure to lock it in place.
- When you have finished using the iron, turn off your unit and wait for it to cool completely. Wind the power cable and the steam cable around the station, making sure that each cable fits into the cable storage space. Store your unit in a safe, dry place.
Important:
- Empty the water from the tank after each use.
- Do not use any cleaning or descaling products to clean the soleplate or housing.
- Never use sharp or pointed objects to remove deposits from the soleplate.
