Safety
The installation and operation of this luminaire must comply with national safety regulations. Only a qualified electrician should carry out the installation and commissioning. The manufacturer does not accept liability for damage resulting from improper use or installation. Any modifications to the luminaire should be done by authorized personnel.
Overvoltage Protection
The electronic components in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage per DIN EN 61547. For additional protection against transients, separate overvoltage protection components are recommended. These can be found on the manufacturer’s website at www.bega.com.
Replacement of the LED Module:
The LED module can be replaced by qualified individuals using standard tools. Ensure to disconnect the system, open the luminaire, follow the installation instructions for the LED module, and replace any defective glass before closing the luminaire.

Safety
The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation.If subsequent modifications are made tothe luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be considered the manufacturer.
Overvoltage protection
The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against
overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547.
To achieve an additional protection against e.g. transients, etc. we recommend
separate overvoltage protection components.

Installation
LEDs are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light
output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping. Undo the
hexagon socket (wrench size 5) in the locking cap and remove it. The opal
glass can now be hinged together with the electrical equipment to the front.
Remove the opal glass. Note the position of application of the luminaire
»arrow down«. Drill mounting holes into the mounting surface – spacing 230mm
and turn in enclosed or suitable fixing screws. For the electrical connection
undo the screw connection at the line connector and remove the terminal block.
Make earth conductor connection and electrical connection. Make a connection
of the phase with the marked, the neutral wire at the N marked and the earth
conductor at the PE marked connecting terminal. For digital actuation please
use the two connecting terminals DA. If these terminals are not assigned, the
luminaire will work with full light output. Bolt together both screw cable
glands firmly. Hook the luminaire into the fixing screws and tighten.
Slide opal glass over the lamp and fasten with the locking cap.
Make sure that the gaskets are positioned correctly.

Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free
- cleansers from dirt.
- The defective glass must be replaced.
Replacement of the LED module
- The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
- The light color and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted.
- The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
- Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
- The defective glass must be replaced. Close the luminaire.
