SPECIFICATION
TV Input: External input.
TV Power: Tums on/off your TV.
Menu: Enters the on-screen menus.
OK: Selects the highlighted item. last Returns to the previous channel.
Info: Provides a description of a program.
Exit: Exit guide, screens and returns you to TV viewing.
Keypad (0-9): Select the Channel you want to view (e.g., 0-9 or 0-2-6).
guide: Shortcut to TV listings.
VOL+/-: Turns the volume up and down on the HO Set-Top Box. After your remote is programmed these keys operate the TVs volume control.
CH▲/▼: Selects the next higher or lov.er channel.
Mute: Tums the sound on and off.
Setup: Programs your remote control to your TV or HD Set-Top Box.
A, B, C, D : connect sensitive control keys used in advance setup.

It is simple to program your remote control to control your TV
Your remote control is already programmed to control your HD Set-Top Box. To control your TV functions, follow the steps below:
Here’s How:
- Install the batteries.
- Find the manufacturer’s code for your TV (see the other side).
- Tum on your TV and HD DA.
- Press and hold the Setup button on your remote until the Indicator LED changes from red to green.
- Enter the first manufacturer’s-code you found in Step 2. The Indicator LED will flash green twice
- Press the TV Power button on the remote control. If the TV turns off, you know the code has been accepted. Turn the TV back on and ensure the VOL+!- and Mute buttons also work. If so, you’re all set!
- If not, repeat these steps using the following
manufacturer’s code in Step 2. You may need to try several codes to find the one that works for your TV. If you still can’t find a code that works, see the “Gannt Find Your Code?” section.
Can’t Find Your Code?
If you can’t program your remote using the codes on the back of this guide, follow the steps below to search for your code.
- Turn on your TV.
- Press and hold the Setup button on your remote until the Indicator LED changes from red to green.
- Enter A.
- Press the CHA button multiple times until the TV turns off.
- After the TV turns off, press Setup to save the code.
- Two green blinks indicate successful TV IR code storage.
Additional Feature: If you would like to place your OTA out of the line of site, for example, in an entertainment center or behind your TV,
follow the instructions above to program the remote control for your TV, then refer to the Install your HD Set-Top Box out of sight instructions.
Install your HD Set-Top Box out of sight
Your remote control can be paired directly with your HD Set-Top Box, allowing
you to place the device out of the line of sight (in an entertainment center
or behind your TV, for example).
Follow the steps to the right to pair your remote control with your HD Set-top
box. Once your remote control is paired to a specific HD Set- Top Box, it will
not control any other HD Set-Top Box in your home.
Suppose you want to use your home’s remote control for another Set-Top Box. In
that case, you can “un-pair” the devices following the instructions in the
document’s Remove remote control pairing section.
HERE’S HOW
- Program your remote to control your TV as described in the “It’s simple to program your remote to control your TV” section. If you’ve already done this, proceed to Step 2.
- Follow the HD Set Top Box instructions to enter the remote pairing screen. Please ensure you have a line of sight of the HD Set-Top Box during the pairing process.
- Press and hold the Setup button until the Indicator LED changes from red to green.
- Press the Menu button on the remote control. Your TV should display onscreen instructions. If the on-screen instructions do not appear, you may need to press the Menu button again up to two more times.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the 3-digit code that appears.
- Once the code is correctly entered, your remote will be paired with the HD Set-Top Box
connected to your TV.
Frequently Asked Questions About Pairing
Q: Why does the Indicator LED flash green, then red during pairing?
A: The device you pair with may not be powered on or support Device
Pairing technology. Confirm the box is powered on and supports Device Pairing
technology.
Remove remote control pairing
Once your remote control is paired to your HD Set-Top Box, it is uniquely
paired and will not control any other HD Set-top box in your home.
If you would like to use your remote control for a different HD Set-Top Box,
you must first un-pair the remote control from the current device
Follow the instructions below to remove the pairing from your remote.
- Press and hold the Setup button until the Indicator LED changes from red to green.
- Enter 9-8-7 on the remote control.
- The Indicator LED will blink green twice. The remote control will now be unpaired from that device and can be used for other HD Set-Top Boxes in your home.
Remember, when using your remote control with a new TV or HD Set-Top Box, you may need to reprogram the remote control to operate those devices. Follow the steps in this guide to program or reprogram your remote.
