different targets.
Distance Measuring Mode
Working Principle: The distance is calculated based on the speed of
light and the time taken for the laser to reach the target and return.
How to operate:
- Single distance measuring: Aim at the target and short-press the power button to start measuring.
- Continuous distance measuring: Long press the power button for real-time measurements along a line of points.
Pinseeker Mode
Working Principle: Specifically designed for measuring distances to
flagpoles by separating them from background clutter.
How to operate:
- Single distance measuring: Aim at the flagpole and short-press the power button for the measurement.
- Continuous distance measuring: Aim around the flagpole and long-press the power button for real-time measurements.
Fog Mode
Working Principle: Detects fog near the device to provide distance
readings.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
-
Q: What types of targets can be measured using this rangefinder?
A: The rangefinder can measure targets with high reflectivity (such as street signs), moderate reflectivity (like building walls), and low reflectivity (such as trees and golf flagpoles). -
Q: How do I know if the battery is low?
A: The low battery icon will be displayed on the LCD when the battery is running low.
Model Guide:
- 600 means the measuring range 5-600m
- 900 means the measuring range 5-900m
- 1200 means the measuring range 5-1200m
- 1500 means the measuring range 5-1500m
Introduction
Thank you for choosing! The laser rangefinder is a portable optoelectronic
device that can be used to measure distance and speed. It is a decent
rangefinder that could measure at high accuracy and fast speed with a low
power consumption. What makes it stand out from the market is its ability to
identify small targets (such as flagpoles) and ignore distracting background
objects, like trees or bushes.
The rangefinder is suitable for measuring targets with high reflectivity (such
as street signs), targets with moderate reflectivity (such as a building
wall), and targets with low reflectivity (such as trees and golf flagpole, etc
.).

Operation Guidance
Step 1: Turn on the product
Short press power button to turn on the product and it would enter into
distance measuring mode. The LCD will display as shown in the picture below.
Step 2: Adjust the focus
Looking through the eyepiece, rotate the eyepiececlockwise or counter-
clockwise until the view is clearly in focus. By adjusting the eyepiece,
people with farsighted or short-sighted vision can use this productwithout
wearing glasses.
Step 3: Mode and Unit Selection
Short press the MODE button to switch mode. Long press the MODE button to
switch unit.
Step 4: Measuring
Note : In single distance measuring mode, the distance to a discrete
point you targeted would be measured and displayed. In continuous distance
measuring mode, the distances to a continuous line of points you targeted will
be measured and displayed
Distance measuring mode
-
Working Principle:
Note : c equals the speed of light and t equals the amount of time for the round trip between rangefinder and target. -
LCD display:
-
How to operate
-
Single distance measuring: Aim at target object and short press power button to start measuring. The measuring result would be displayed on the lens.
-
Continuous distance measuring:
Long press the power button. The distance value would be displayed in real- time according to where you are pointing at. The ‘Scan’ icon would flash on screen as seen in the picture below:
Pinseeker mode
-
Working Principle
Pinseeker mode is designed for measuring the distance to a flagpole. Under this mode, the product is able to separate the flagpole (point D) from the clutter (such as trees and bushes) in the background. Only the distance
to point D would be displayed. -
LCD display:
-
How to operate
Single distance measuring: -
Aim at target object and short press power button.
-
The measuring value result would be displayed on the lens. The value is the distance to the target the distance to the flagpole. The LCD will display as picture below:
Fog mode
-
Working Principle:
The fog near the rangefinder would reflect the laser back to the device, which cause the device to give a reading on the distance to fog. The fog mode allows the product to filter out the influence of fog in close range (d1=30m) and thus measure with improved accuracy. -
LCD display:
Aim at target object and short press power button. Then, the distance value will be displayed on lens.
Speed mode
-
Working Principle
Note: The range finder would take two measurements of distance, d1 and d2. To get the average speed of a moving object, divide the distance traveled (d2-d1) by the time taken to travel the distance (t). -
LCD display
-
How to measure
Aim at the object and short-press the power button. Keep aiming as the object moves until the speed value displays on the screen.
Low battery alarm
When the battery level is too low, the low battery icon would appear as a reminder to replace the battery. Please note that low battery can negatively influence the accuracy of results
Caution
- The measuring range of the rangefinder depends on the condition of the target, the projected angle of the laser beam, and visibility. Generally speaking, the measuring range is larger when the target has a smooth, large and brightly colored surface, when the angle between the laser and the target is vertical and when the sky is clear.
- If you are not going to use the rangefinder for a long time, please take the battery out.
- Do not touch the eyepiece directly with your finger, to prevent the coating from being damaged.
- Do not disassemble this device by yourself. It has been accurately aligned and adjusted with precision equipment.
- If the external lens is stained, please clean it with lens cloth. Do not use other materials when cleaning so as to prevent the coating from being damaged.
- If the external lens is stained, please clean it gently with lens cloth. Do not clean it in other ways to prevent the coating from being damaged.
- When carrying about or using this device, be careful not to drop it or put heavy objects on top of it.
- Keep the device in a dry, cool and airy place and avoid dust, direct sunshine and extreme changes of temperature.
- Never point the device at sun or strong light, to prevent the photosensitive element from being damaged
