Intended use:
The keymaXX PK361 is a digital stage piano, designed to play sounds on the
keyboard and make them audible through built-in speakers or headphones.
Improper use of the product is considered improper and can lead to personal
injury or property damage. No liability is assumed for damage resulting from
improper use.
It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and
competent users who are in full possession of their mental, physical and
sensory abilities. The use by other persons is only permit-ted under the
supervision or guidance of a person responsible for their safety.
Important safety instructions! Please read before connection!
CAUTION! (Electro Magnetic Interference) The normal function of the
product may be disturbed by Strong Electro Magnetic Interference. If so,
simply reset the product to resume normal operation by following the owner`s
manual. In case the function could not resume, please use the product in other
location.
DANGER! (For babies and children)
Dispose of or store any packaging material properly! Packaging material must
be kept out of the reach of babies and children due to the danger of
suffocation.
Make sure that children never use the device unattended! In addition, make
sure that children do not remove (small) parts from the device, as they could
suffocate by swallowing parts!
DANGER! (Electric shock due to high voltages in the device)
The housing must not be removed! There are no parts to be maintained in the
device. Inside the unit there are components which are under high electrical
voltage.
Before each use, check the device for damage or the absence of components,
protective devices or housing parts. If this is the case, do not use the
device! Leave maintenance and repair work to a qualified service workshop or
contact your dealer.
DANGER! (Electric shock due to short circuit)
Modifications to the power cord or plug are prohibited. If the power cord is
damaged, it must be replaced immediately with an original spare part from the
manufacturer. Failure to do so may result in fire or death due to electric
shock!
WARNING! (Damage to hearing)
The unit may generate volumes that may cause temporary or permanent
hearingloss. Over time, even seemingly uncritical levels can cause hearing
damage. Reduce the volume immediately if ear noise or hearing loss occurs. If
this is not possible, keep a greater distance or use adequate hearing
protection.
Hint! (Fire hazard due to overheating)
The maximum permissible ambient temperature of this device is 40°C. Ensure
that the unit is placed in a place with adequate ventilation, out of the
reachof direct heat sources, naked flames and combustible materials and
liquids.
The ventilation slots of the device must not be taped or covered.
Hint! (Operating conditions)
Due to its structural characteristics, the device is designed for indoor
operation (IP20). Never expose the device to rain, moisture or liquids as this
may cause damage.
Vibrations, dust or solar radiation can also lead to damage, avoid them! Do
not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
Do not let paper, metallic, or other objects into the instrument. If this
happens, remove the electric plug from the outlet. Then have the instrument
inspected by qualified service personnel.
Disconnect all cables before moving the instrument.
Hint! (Power supply)
It is essential that you check that the device voltage matches your local
mains voltage. It is highly recommended that you fuse your mains socket with a
residual current circuit breaker (FI).
Please connect the designated AC adaptor to an AC outlet.
If you do not use your device for a longer period of time, disconnect it from
the power supply in order to minimize danger. The same applies to storm
conditions such as thunderstorms, floods, etc.
Hint! (Commissioning)
All connections of the device should be made before switching on. Use only
highquality cables for connections.
Hint! (Installation)
Be sure to inspect the device for damage before using. Optimum use of the
original packaging or suitable transport or storage packaging to protect the
product when not in use. Optimally against influences such as dust or moisture
etc.
Hint! (Possible damage due to magnetic fields)
Loudspeakers generate a static magnetic field. Please keep an appropriate
distance from other equipment that may be affected or damaged by an external
magnetic field.
Hint! (Interferences with other electrical devices)
Radios and televisions placed nearby may experience reception interference.
Operate this unit at a suitable distance from radios and televisions. If this
equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
THE FCC REGULATION WARNING (for USA)
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate
radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation.

Cleaning:
A regular cleaning of the device from impurities and dust increases the
durability of the product. Always disconnect the device from the power supply
before cleaning it! Never clean the appliance wet! Optical lenses should be
cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth to optimize light output. Ventilation
grilles and openings should always be cleaned of dust and dirt. Suitable
compressed air sprays are recommended for this application.
Environmental Protection:

components after use.

PANEL CONTROL AND EXTENSION PORTS
Using AC/DC Power supply Adapter
The AC/DC power supply adaptor must be the one designated for the instrument.
Please connect one side to the power supply socket an the back-panel and the
other to the citypower network. (Please notice the input voltage should be the
same as that of the power network.)
Microphone input
Insert the plug of the microphone into the microphone jack of the keyboard
and you can enjoy playing and singing.
Audio output/headphone connection
Audio output: first turn off the power supply of the electronic keyboard and
external sound equipment, then insert one end of the audio cable into the
PHONES/OUTPUT interface for audio output on the back of the electronic
keyboard, and insert the other end into the audio input interface of the sound
equipment.
Headphone connection: insert the headphone plug into the PHONES/OUTPUT
interface on the back of the electronic keyboard, then the speaker of the
electronic keyboard will be disconnected automatically, and the influence an
others can be avoided during playing.
- Attention! Do not keep the highest volume in a long time when the headphone is used, so as to avoid hearing lasses.
Audio input
The electronic keyboard has the stereo audio input function, and audio signals
of mobile phones, MP3 players, computers and the like can be input into the
electronic keyboard system to be played. At first, turn oft the power supply
of the electronic keyboard, insert one end of the audio cable into the output
port of an audio device, insert the other end into the AUDIO INPUT interface
on the back of the electronic keyboard, and then turn on the power supply of
the electronic keyboard.
Sustain Pedal
The instrument can be added to an outer sustain pedal, which can be used to
make a sustain effect on the performance.
USB-MIDI port
The USB-MIDI port of the Piano is used for the connection with a mobile phone
or a tablet PC. Download and install an teaching software to realize the
connection of the Piano with smart devices, facilitating teaching and
learning.
Connecting method
A dedicated USB data cable of the Piano should be used for the connection
between the Piano and a mobile phone or a tablet PC. The USB-MIDI port of the
Piano can also be used for the connection with other musical Instruments and
computer with MIDI. You can output performance records to a computer for
advanced recording, composing and editing with computer software, or send the
MIDI music stored in the computer to the Piano for playing.
BASIC PERFORMANCE METHOD
Up/Down button
When the instrument is powered on, the functions shown below [FUNCTION] will
be available; press [UP/DOWN] to switch to the functions shown above
[FUNCTION], and the light above is on, and “RHYM”. Displayed on the screen
Press [UP/DOWN] again to switch to the functions shown below, and the light
above is off and “TONE” displayed on the screen.
Click
By default, key sound is enabled. When [FUNCTION] + [CLICK] on the keyboard
are pressed to enable key sound, there is a beep sound and “ON” is displayed
on the screen. When the [FUNCTION] + [CLICK] on the keyboard are pressed
again, the key sound function is disabled, and “OFF” displayed on the screen.
Keyboard Percussion
Press and hold [FUNCTION] + [KEYBOARD PERCUSSION] to activate keyboard
percussion, Then the corresponding percussion sound can be uttered when the
keyboard is played, and “ON” displayed on the screen. Press and hold
[FUNCTION] + [KEYBOARD PERCUSSION] again to deactivate keyboard percussion,
and “OFF” displayed on the screen.
Master volume
Press [FUNCTION] + [MASTER VOL+] or [MASTER VOL-] on the keyboard to control
the master volume. “VOLUME” and the current volume level will be shown on the
display. Press [MASTER VOL+] and [MASTER VOL-] at the same time, and master
volume will be restored to the poweran preset value.
Timbre selection
The electronic organ has 430 timbres from “000” to “429”. The timbre selection
function is automatically enabled. Direct-selected timbre: The keyboard has 6
direct-selected timbre buttons for selection, in which [Timbre] defaults to be
the No.”000 piano timbre”. Select other timbres: Press [Timbre] + [Number] on
the keyboard and select the corresponding timbre number.
Play demo songs
There are 50 demo sounds to choose from, numbering “00” to “49”. Press [DEMO
SONG] to play all demo sounds by order. Press [FUNCTION] + [Number] on the
keyboard to select the corresponding demo sound number.
Press [DEMO SONG] to play the demo sound, and press [DEMO SONG] again to stop
demo sound.
AUTOMATIC RHYTHM
Rhythm selection
There are 300 rhythms to choose from, numbering “000” to “299” When [UP/DOWN]
is pressed, the light above is on and “RHYM” displayed on the screen. Press
[RHYTHM] + [Number] on the keyboard to select the corresponding rhythm number.
Rhythm control
-
Start of rhythm function
• The light above [UP/DOWN] is on; when [START/STOP] button is pressed, the rhythm is played immediately.
• When the rhythm is not activated, press [SYNC] and press any key in the chord area (keys 1-19 from the left), the rhythm will be played synchronously.
• Press “lntro/Ending” to activate an intro and return to the normal rhythm.
• The intro can be played with sync function. -
Fill-in
• The light above [UP/DOWN] is on. When the rhythm is activated, press [FILL- IN], and the electronic organ will automatically fill in an interlude into the rhythm. -
Stop of rhythm function
• The light above [UP/DOWN] is on. When the rhythm is activated, press [START/STOP] to immediately stop the rhythm.
• In the accompaniment mode, press “lntro/Ending” to automatically stop accompaniment after transition to the ending.
Rhythm Vol
Press [FUNCTION] + [RHYTHM VOL+] or [RHYTHM VOL-] on the keyboard to increase
or decrease rhythm volume.
Press [FUNCTION] + [RHYTHM VOL+] and [RHYTHM VOL-] on the keyboard at the same
time, and the rhythm volume will be recovered to the power-on preset value.
Metronome
Press [Metronome] once to enable the metronome and again to disable the
metronome.
This instrument has 10 metronome modes. Press and hold [FUNCTION] + [Rhythm]
(1/4 to 12/8) on the keyboard to set the rhythm.
Tempo
The default tempo is 120, which can be adjusted from “30” to “280”. Press and
hold [FUNCTION] + keyboard [TEMPO] number and -/+ keys to adjust the tempo.
The light above [UP/DOWN] is on, With the rhythm playing, press and hold
[FUNCTION] + keyboard [TEMPO] number and -/+ keys to adjust the tempo of
rhythm.
Press and hold [FUNCTION] + [BACK] key in [TEMPO] of the keyboard to restore
the default value.
AUTOMATIC BASS CHORD
Fingered chord
The light above [UP/DOWN] is on, press the [FINGERED CHORD] button to start
chord function and “FIN” is displayed on the screen. When the rhythm is
activated, you can perform automatic chord according to the multi-finger chord
rule in the chord keyboard area (keys 1-19 from the left).
- Press the [FINGERED CHORD] button again to deactivate chord function.
Single chord
The light above [UP/DOWN) is on, press the [SINGLE CHORD) button to start
chord function and “SIN” is displayed on the screen. When the rhythm is
activated, you can perform automatic chord according to the single finger
chord rule in the chord keyboard area (keys 1-19 from the left).
- Press the [SINGLE CHORD) button again to deactivate chord function
Chord Timbre
Press and hold [FUNCTION) + [CHORD TIMBRE] of the keyboard to change the chord
timbre.
Chord Vol
Press [FUNCTION) + [CHORD VOL+] or [CHORD VOL-) on the keyboard to increase or
decrease chord volume. Press and hold [FUNCTION) + (CHORD VOL +] or (CHORD
VOL-) to restore the main volume to the preset value of startup.
EFFECT CHANGE
Tone Change
- Sustain: Sustain the ending time of a note
- Press (FUNCTION) + (SUSTAIN-ON) or [SUSTAIN-OFF) on the keyboard to enable or disable the sustain function, “SUS” appears on the screen if the Sustain function is enabled and disappears if the Sustain function is disabled.
- Vibrato: Vibrato effect of a note
- Press [FUNCTION] + (VIBRATO-ON] or (VIBRATO-OFF) on the keyboard to enable or disable the vibrato, “VIB” appears on the screen if the Vibrato function is enabled and disappears if the Vibrato function is disabled.
Touch
Press and hold [FUNCTION] + [Touch On] or [Touch Off] to enable or disable the
touch function. It’s enabled by default after startup. “Touch” will appear on
the screen. This function is helpful to enrich the expressive power of music
and accurately reflect the touch of each note. The greater the touch, the
higher the volume is. If this function is disabled, the sound will remain
unchanged regardless of the touch.
Transpose
Transpose function saves you the trouble of rising and falling tones when
playing the keyboard. Play the C note whatever the actual tone is. Press and
hold [FUNCTION) + (TRANSPOSE-1), to lower by a semitone (half a step), and
now C note becomes B note; press and hold the [FUNCTION) + [TRANSPOSE KEY] Key
+1], to raise by a semitone (half a step), and now #C note becomes bD note.
Press and hold [FUNCTION) + (TRANSPOSE-2), C note will become bB note.
- Press and hold [FUNCTION] + (TRANSPOSE] of the keyboard to change the C key to F key. Press and hold [FUNCTION] + [Shift 0) of the keyboard to change the C key to “O”.
- Press and hold [FUNCTION] + (TRANSPOSE +] or (TRANSPOSE -) of the keyboard to change the level between “-6” and “06”
Dual
Press and hold (FUNCTION) + [Dual – on) or [Dual – off) to enable or disable
the dual timbre function. II the dual timbre function is enabled, “ON” will
appear on the screen. In this case, the dual timbre will be applied. II the
dual timbre function is disabled, “OFF” will appear on the screen.
When overlay of other timbres are required, press the [TIMBRE] button + the
[DEMO SONG/GM TIMBRE] key to select other timbres, and then press the [TIMBRE]
button and other [TIMBRE] buttons simultaneously.
Split
The keyboard can be split into two zones, in this way you can play two
different timbres with your left and right hands respectively. You should set
the timbre for the right hand side after the timbre that you were using before
splitting is applied to the left-hand side. For example, you can set the
timbre of the left-hand side to bass and the right-hand side to piano. Press
the [SPLIT] button once to activate the keyboard split. Press [SPLIT] button
again to deactivate keyboard split. When holding [SPLIT], you can press the
keys at the same time to set the keyboard split point, and the current key is
the start point of the keyboard on the right.
- After the keyboard split function is enabled, you can reselect a timbre for the right-hand zone.
- When the keyboard split function is enabled, the scale of the left-hand zone will increase by an octave, and the scale of the right-hand zone will decrease by an octave. Take the default split point as an example, scales of Keys A0 – G2# will change to those of Keys A1 – G3#, while scales of Keys A2 – CS will change to those of KeysA1 -C7.
RECORDING & PROGRAMMING
Programming
Press and hold [FUNCTION] + [PROGRAMMING] on the keyboard once to enter the
programming mode and “PRG” displayed on the screen. Press and hold [FUNCTION]
- [PROGRAMMING] on the keyboard again to exit the programming mode, data will be cleared automatically. In the programming mode, and the key will automatically become the keyboard drum. Press any key to start recording the drum sound. When the memory is full, the instrument will exit the programming mode.
Play
Press and hold [FUNCTION] + [PLAY] to play the recorded drum sound, and “PLY”
displayed on the screen. While playing, press and hold [FUNCTION] + [PLAY]
again to stop playing.
Record
Press and hold [FUNCTION] + [RECORD] on the keyboard once to enter the
recording mode, and “REG” displayed on the screen. Press and hold [FUNCTION] +
[RECORD] on the keyboard again to exit the recording mode, data will be
cleared automatically.
- Under the record mode, and you can press any key to start recording.
- When the memory is full of notes disappears, record mode will be disabled.
Play
Press and hold [FUNCTION] + [PLAY] to play recording, and “PLY” displayed on
the screen. While playing, press and hold [FUNCTION] + [PLAY] to stop playing.
STATE MEMORY
The state memory stores the tone, rhythm, and tempo parameter settings for you
to choose from easily. You can save up to 3 different settings.
Save state memory
After you’ve set the preferred tone, rhythm and tempo, Up/Down button light is
on, press and hold the [ MEMORY] button + [MEMORY 1] to [MEMORY 3] to save the
current working state.
Retrieve state memory
The light above [UP/DOWN] is on, press any key from [MEMORY 1] to [MEMORY 3]
to select the saved data to replace the current state.
- There is no power failure protection. The data will be lost alter power-off.
INTELLIGENT THREE-STEP LESSON
The intelligent teaching function is divided into three steps to guide the
learner to gradually learn to play the electronic keyboard. The learner should
exercise in the first step “One Key” to get familiar with the melody and
rhythm of the song, followed by the second step “Follow” for correct playing
of the song and then the third step “Ensemble” to freely ensemble with others
at last via ensemble exercise.
Teaching 1: One Key
When the memory is full, the instrument will exit the programming mode.
Press [FUNCTION] + [Number] on the keyboard and “+”/”-” key to select the song
you want to learn.
One-key teaching is applied for the song duration exercise, with no
requirements for the pitch and correctness. lmproper playing of keys is
allowed. The electronic keyboard plays correct notes in case of errors, but
the cursor in the keyboard zone of the screen shows the key corresponding to
the correct note.
The one-key teaching function can be disabled by pressing the key “OneKey”
again.
Teaching 2: Follow
Press [3-Step Lesson] twice to enable the follow-up teaching function, and the
current demonstration song number will appear on the screen.
Press [FUNCTION] + [Number] on the keyboard and “+”/”-” key to select the song
you want to learn. In case of incorrect playing, the melody will stop until
you correct the error.
The Follow teaching function can be disabled by pressing the key “Follow”
again.
Teaching 3: Ensemble
Press [3-Step Lesson] three times to enable the ensemble teaching function,
and the current demonstration song number will appear on the screen.
Press [FUNCTION] + [Number] on the keyboard and “+”/”-” key to select the song
you want to learn.
The Ensemble teaching is applied for correct and comprehensive learning of the
song duration and notes. The keynote will be shielded by the keyboard for
ensemble. You should play the correct notes within the song duration. II you
fail to play within 3 seconds, the electronic keyboard will automatically play
the keynote, and the keyboard zone of the screen will display the correct note
and tempo.
The Ensemble teaching function can be disabled by pressing the key “Ensemble”
again.
