Danfoss AK255 ZTP2 Zone Temperature Probe Installation Guide
Identification
The ZTP2 zone temperature probe is a platinum temperature sensor (PTS1000) mounted inside of a plastic housing designed for multi-directional air flow. The ZTP2 is typically used to monitor ambient temperature in order to control the HVAC and refrigeration devices for the area.
The ZTP2 is compatible with all Sanford AK255 controllers as well as legacy controller AKC55

Installation and Inspection
The ZTP2 is generally attached to an interior wall or a column
on the sales floor at a height of 5’6” from the floor line or 2’ below the
ceiling line in refrigerated areas. If a column is located in the middle of a
gondola, mount the ZTP2 1’ above the top of the gondola.
