Intended Use

The keymaXX SDP-155 is a digital home keyboard, designed to play sounds on the keyboard and make them audible through built-in speakers or headphones. Improper use of the product is considered improper and can lead to personal injury or property damage. No liability is assumed for damage resulting from improper use.
It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and competent users who are in full possession of their mental, physical and sensory abilities. The use by other persons is only permit-ted under the supervision or guidance of a person responsible for their safety.

Important safety instructions! Please read before connection!

CAUTION! (Electro Magnetic Interference)
The normal function of the product may be disturbed by Strong Electro Magnetic Interference. If so, simply reset the product to resume normal operation by following the owner‘s manual. In case the function could not resume, please use the product in other location.

DANGER! (For babies and children)
Dispose of or store any packaging material properly! Packaging material must be kept out of the reach of babies and children due to the danger of suffocation.
Make sure that children never use the device unattended! In addition, make sure that children do not remove (small) parts from the device, as they could suffocate by swallowing parts!

DANGER! (Electric shock due to high voltages in the device)
The housing must not be removed! There are no parts to be maintained in the device. Inside the unit there are components which are under high electrical voltage.
Before each use, check the device for damage or the absence of components, protective devices or housing parts. If this is the case, do not use the device! Leave maintenance and repair work to a qualified service workshop or contact your dealer.

DANGER! (Electric shock due to short circuit)
Modifications to the power cord or plug are prohibited. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced immediately with an original spare part from the manufacturer. Failure to do so may result in fire or death due to electric shock!

WARNING! (Damage to hearing)
The unit may generate volumes that may cause temporary or permanent hearing loss. Over time, even seemingly uncritical levels can cause hearing damage.
Reduce the volume immediately if ear noise or hearing loss occurs. If this is not possible, keep a greater distance or use adequate hearing protection.

Hint! (Fire hazard due to overheating)
The maximum permissible ambient temperature of this device is 40°C.
Ensure that the unit is placed in a place with adequate ventilation, out of the reach of direct heat sources, naked flames and combustible materials and liquids.
The ventilation slots of the device must not be taped or covered.

Hint! (Operating conditions)
Due to its structural characteristics, the device is designed for indoor operation (IP20). Never expose the device to rain, moisture or liquids as this may cause damage.
Vibrations, dust or solar radiation can also lead to damage, avoid them! Do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
Do not let paper, metallic, or other objects into the instrument. If this happens, remove the electric plug from the outlet. Then have the instrument inspected by qualified service personnel.
Disconnect all cables before moving the instrument.

Hint! (Power supply)
It is essential that you check that the device voltage matches your local mains voltage. It is highly recommended that you fuse your mains socket with a residual current circuit breaker (FI).
Please connect the designated AC adaptor to an AC outlet.
If you do not use your device for a longer period of time, disconnect it from the power supply in order to minimize danger. The same applies to storm conditions such as thunderstorms, floods, etc.

Hint! (Commissioning)
All connections of the device should be made before switching on. Use only high quality cables for connections.

Hint! (Installation)
Be sure to inspect the device for damage before using. Optimum use of the original packaging or suitable transport or storage packaging to protect the product when not in use optimally against influences such as dust or moisture, etc.

Hint! (Possible damage due to magnetic fields)
Loudspeakers generate a static magnetic field. Please keep an appropriate distance from other equipment that may be affected or damaged by an external magnetic field.

Hint! (Interferences with other electrical devices)
Radios and televisions placed nearby may experience reception interference. Operate this unit at a suitable distance from radios and televisions.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

THE FCC REGULATION WARNING (for USA)
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interfe- rence in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.

Cleaning

A regular cleaning of the device from impurities and dust increases the durability of the product.
Always disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning it! Never clean the appliance wet! Optical lenses should be cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth to optimize light output. Ventilation grilles and openings should always be cleaned of dust and dirt. Suitable compressed air sprays are recommended for this application

Environmental Protection :

Disposal of packaging :
Ensure that paper packaging, plastic material, etc. are recycled separately. Observe the labels and the corresponding regulations.

Disposal of batteries :
Batteries do not belong in the garbage! Please dispose of batteries in accordance with official regulations at collection points or disposal stations.

    Installation

Power Supply

This product can be supplied by standard indoor wall socket, please use only the power cord specified by this product. When you do not use, please be sure to turn off the power supply, if you do not use it for a long time, please pull out the power cord and keep it properly.

Power line connection

  1. When used according to the access power line, one end is inserted into the socket a the bottom of the piano operation plate. The other end is inserted into the 220V household power socket (Fig. 1)
  2. If you do not use this product for a longer time, unplug the power cord and keep it properly.

Audio input / output plug

  1. The audio output socket can be connected to large sound box equipment (Fig. 2)
  2. The audio input socket can connect the external sound source to the electric piano (Fig.2 )

BLE-MIDI
BLE-MIDI can be connected piano to equipment with MIDI Bluetooth.

Double headset socket
Connecting the headset will automatically cut off the output of the built-in loudspeaker, so it won’t disturb others when playing. This product has two headphone sockets, which can insert two headphones at the same time. (Fig. 4)

Pedal socket
Insert the end of the pedal line into the circular socket of the bottom of the piano, and you can connect the 3 pedal sound effects. In turn, week tone posterior extension and portamento. (Fig. 5)

USB transmission interface
The USB transmission interface can be connected to the computer. Through the computer installed music software, to learn or or play the keyboard to play, composition, storage and other functional operations. Edited music and built- in accompaniment to music software. It can be played by software connected to the digital piano or played by accompaniment music. (Fig. 6)

Piano performance

  1. Press the power switch to the open position, you can enter the playing state, playing music on the keyboard.
  2. When not in use, please turn off the power supply.

Volume Control
Use the knob to increase or decrease the volume of the piano, please put the volume satisfactory position.

Demo music play

  1. Press and hold the tone/demo button, while pressing the demonstration area in the same corresponding black and with keys, can play different demonstration repertoire.
  2. Different black and white keys correspond to different songs, if you want to choose another track, you can repeat the steps.
  3. Demo song playing stop: press and hold the tone/demo button is not put while pressing the white key A2 can stop playing the demo.

Operating Guide

Press and hold the tone/demo button, while pressing the tone of the area in the one corresponding white keys C4-C5, can play different musical instrument tone.

Every time you power, the default tone is grand piano tone.

  1. Press and hold the tone/demo button, while pressing the tone of the area I nthe two arbitrary white key C4-C5, you can choose a different tone effect.
  2. Press and hold the tone/demo button, while pressing the color area of the white button C5, you can close the dual tone function.
  3. Dual tone mode, press and hold the tone/demonstration button, while pressing the balance area of the white key A3 or B3, you can adjust the volume balance of the two tone.
    In the two tone mode, the volume balance of the 2 kinds of tone is limited.

Metronome function

Operating Guide

  1. Press and hold the effect button, while pressing white keys F1 start and close the metronome.

  2. Press and hold the effect button, while pressing 1 corresponding white keys
    G1-E in beat selection area, then you can choose the beat type, a total of 6.

  3. Press and hold the effect button, while pressing 1 corresponding white keys GA in speed regulation area, then you can adjust the speed of the metronome.

Dynamics response adjustment
Press and hold the effect button, while pressing 1 corresponding to the white key C1-E1 in intensity region, then you can adjust the intensity of the keyboard response time.

  • A total of 3 levels of regulation, the strongest C1, the weakest E1.

Chorus sound effect

  1. Press and hold the effect button, while pressing 1 corresponding to the white key E3-B3 in chorus effect area, then you can produce chorus sound effect, a total of 5 kinds of effects can be selected.
  2. Press and hold the effect button, while pressing white key C4. Chorus effect can be closed.

Reverberation effect

  1. Press and hold the effect button, while pressing 1 corresponding to the white key E4-A4 in reverberation effect area, the reverberation effect can be produced, a total of 4 kinds of effects can be selected.
  2. Press and hold the effect button, while pressing white key C5. Reverberation effect can be closed.

Recording function

Recording function can record and play the track, a total of 2 tracks.

Track 1 recording and playback:

  1. Press and hold the effect button is not put while pressing the 1 area of the track of the white key A2, you can start track 1 recording.
  2. When you play piano or pedal, began to records notes.
  3. Once again hold the effect button, while pressing the 1 area of the track white key A2, you can stop the track 1 recording.
  4. Press and hold the effect button, while pressing the track 1 area of the white key b2, you can start playing track 1 recorded notes.

Track 2 recording and playback:

  1. Press and hold the effect button while pressing the 2 area of the track of the white key C1, you can start track 2 recording.
  2. When you play piano or pedal, began to records notes.
  3. Once again hold the effect button, while pressing the 2 area of the track white key C1, you can stop the track 2 recording.
  4. Press and hold the effect button, while pressing the track 2 area of the white key D1, you can start playing track 2 recorded notes.

Track 1 and track 2 joint plays :
Press and hold the effect button, while pressing the white key E1, you can play the track 1 and track record of the 2 notes at the same time.

Transpose function can change the pitch of the play keyboard under without changing the keyboard operation.

  1. Press and hold MIDI/transpose button and press the white keys F2 and F3, then you can choose transpose function.
  2. Press and hold MIDI/transpose button and press the white key #F3 to close transpose function.

MP3 play function

Operating Guide

  1. Put flash disk into usb socket which have mp3 songs, automatically play mp3 songs three seconds later.
  2. Pres the pause/play button to pause or replay MP3 songs.
  3. Light press MP3 selection button to select first/next MP3 song.
  4. Press the MP3 volume control button long time to adjust the volume of songs

The maximum sound, need controlled by main volume wheel.

Note : only MP3 format songs can be played!
