Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury.

Keep the thermometer out of reach of children or persons in need of supervision.
The unit is not a toy.
Do not use the thermometer in the microwave.
Make sure to use heat-resistant hand protection, the temperature sensors take on the ambient heat.
Be careful when handling the measuring probe of thermometer. The probe is very spikey.
Keep this measuring probe clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
Do not immerse the unit in liquids and do not allow water to enter the key pad and display. Do not use the key pad with wet hands.
Do not expose the unit to strong vibrations or high levels of humidity and avoid strong mechanical stresses.
Always store the unit in a dry place.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not mix rechargeable batteries and nonrechargeable batteries and use only batteries of the same type.
If you do not use the unit for a long period of time, remove the batteries.
Should the unit become damaged, do not use it and have it repaired by a professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble the unit or try repairing it yourself.
