IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read cautiously this instruction manual before using the device and keep it for further use.

  • WARNING: During the positioning of the device, ensure that the supply cord is not squeezed or damaged. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  • Before plugging in the device, ensure that the supplied voltage is identical to the one mentioned on the rating plate on the product.

  • Do not connect the unit to multiple power sources. Use power from the cigarette lighter socket. Do not unplug the device from its supply by pulling the supply cord, unplug it by the plug itself instead.

  • Do not switch ON the device after a malfunction or after a fall or if it’s damaged in any way.

  • To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the device by yourself. Contact a professional repair service for any reparation.

  • Regularly check the condition of power cables and plugs. If a fault is detected, do not use the cable and replace it with an identical cable. Do not introduce anything in the openings to avoid damaging the device and/or generating a risk of electric shock.

  • If an unusual sound, smell or any other sign of potential defect appears, immediately turn OFF the device and unplug the supply cord. Contact a professional repair center.

  • Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload refrigerating appliances.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

  • This device is designed for domestic use and cannot be used for industrial or commercial purposes.

  • This device is suitable for camping use.

  • This device can be used in vehicles.

  • Do not immerse the device in any liquid.

  • Always unplug the device after use and before cleaning.

  • Do not place the device next to a source of heat.

  • Do not expose the device to the rain.

  • When the appliance is in good working condition, do not place any object on the lid. It is needed to keep enough space near the fans. Keep the product away from flame or humidity to avoid the risks of explosion and fire.

  • Do not place the device upside-down.

  • Do not switch the mode COLD/WARM suddenly. Switch OFF the device for 30 minutes at least before switching to a different mode.

  • Never clean the device with flammable substances.

  • Clean the appliance inside with a sponge, water, and mild detergent. Dot does not use corrosion solvents or abrasive accessories; they will damage the appliance.

  • Clean the cover of the device with a damp cloth. A damp sponge or water can damage the electrical part.

  • Keep a space of at least 10cm on the top and the rear of the device to ease the ventilation of the cooling system.

  • In order to store your food and drinks at a stable temperature, avoid letting the cooler open too long.

  • Place the device on a flat, clean and stable surface.

  • Do not place another device on the top of the cooler.

  • Do not store perishable food or drinks in this device because the inner temperature might not be cool enough to guarantee their proper preservation.

  • To avoid the contamination of the food and drinks follow the here under recommendations:
    – Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
    – Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
    – If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mold from developing within the appliance.

  • Do not store explosive substances in this device such as aerosols containing flammable propulsion gas.

Waste Management
To avoid harming the environment or human health by uncontrolled disposal of electric waste, recycle the device with responsible behavior in order to promote the re-use of material resources. The disposal must be done in a safe way in the relevant public collecting centers. Contact the closest sorting center for more details about the right disposal of your electrical waste.

INSTRUCTIONS OF COMMISSIONING AND USE

Before turning on your cooler

  • Remove all the packaging elements (internal and external).

  • Check that none of the following elements are missing:
    1 supply cord 12V direct current
    1 Storage separator
    1 instruction manual

  • Clean the internal surfaces with a soft fabric and warm water.

  • Ensure that the switch buttons WARM/COLD are set on the “OFF” position.

  • Place your device on a solid enough support to bear the weight of your device once it’s completely full.
    NB: Do not switch suddenly between modes WARM and COLD. First, turn off the device (OFF position) and wait for at least 30 minutes before switching to the opposite mode.

  • Open the lid and place your food and/or drinks into the storage section of the cooler.
    NB: To reach minimize energy consumption, we recommend you to pre- refrigerate your food and drinks before placing them inside the cooler to keep better preservation of the temperature in COLD mode.
    NB: The warm mode is not intended to heat your food and drinks. It allows you only to keep them warm.

  • Regularly check the temperature inside the cooler.

  • Place the device away from direct sunlight and heating sources. The sunlight may damage the surface of the device and the heat may increase energy consumption. If the surrounding temperature is too cold or too hot, it may reduce the performance of the device.

  • This device is not designed to be placed in a confined place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning of your cooler

  • Unplug your cooler and remove its content.

  • Let the cooler return to room temperature if it was in function just before.

  • Clean the outside of the device with a soft fabric and mild detergent.

  • Clean the ventilation grid with a wet fabric to remove the dust.
    NB: Do not use abrasive cleaning products, this would damage the cooler.

  • If there are some residues stuck inside the cooler, rub the marks with a sponge until you got a smooth and clean surface.

  • Let the device air dry before using.

STORAGE

Store your cooler in a dry, non-dusty, and away from extreme temperature environment.
Keep the cooler open during storage to maintain ventilation and prevent bacterial growth.
