CAUTION

  • Please avoid heavy impact and drop onto the ground when moving the product.

  • The screen of this product is made of glass. Please do not drop the screen to the ground. Keep away from injury if the screen is broken.

  • Keep the product away from the heat source, such as the radiator, the water heater, the stoves, and other heating products.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun as the LCD screen will be damaged.

  • To avoid damaging the product, please do not take apart or repair the unit by yourself without the adjustable components in the unit.

  • To maintain the LCD screen better, please notice the ways below to avoid scratches, discoloration, and other damages.
    1. Please refrain from using hard objects to hit the screen.
    2. Please do not force to wipe the screen.
    3. Please do not use chemical solutions to clean the screen.
    4. Please do not spray any detergent on the screen.
    5. Please do not write on the screen directly.
    6. Please do not stick it on the screen.
    7. Please simply wipe with a clean soft cloth and make sure no water on the screen.

  • To protect the plastic cover better, please follow these ways below to avoid damage;
    1. Please do not use chemical solutions to clean the cover.
    2. Please keep away from volatile things.
    3. Please do not clean the case hard.
    4. Please simply wipe with a clean soft cloth and make sure no water on the cover.

1.2 Port Instruction (bottom)

1.4 Power Supply Way

  1. The rear cover of the monitor is equipped with an F970 and E6 dual-purpose battery plate, which is applicable to the F970 series of batteries and E6 series of batteries.
  2. Barrel (5.5mm outer, 2.1mm inner) at the left side of the monitor, DC 7~24V Input.
  • Sony F970 battery plate for the battery of Sony DV: Sony F970 F960 F950 F930 F770 F750 F730 F570 F550 F530 series
  • LP-E6 battery plate for a battery of Canon DV: Canon LP-E6

Remark: It is recommended to use standard original F970 batteries.
Different specifications of the battery have different capabilities. The working time for the monitor will be different. Higher capability (working time) will be longer. Please take off the battery from the monitor if you don’t use the monitor for a long time.
1.5 Mount Points
(1) 1/4″ Screw Lock Installation
The 1/4 screw lock can be installed on the monitor (bottom, right side).●

  1. Fasten the 1/4″ screw lock with the monitor.
  2. Use 2 screws to fasten the the1/4″ screw lock and the monitor.

(2) Tilt Arm Mounting
The monitor secures your camera using the included Tilt Arm via shoe mount or 1/4″-20 thread. The Tilt Arm enables 180° of tilt for convenient monitoring at nearly any angle. A cold shoe on the Tilt Arm lets you secure equipment (like a microphone, LED light, or wireless receiver) that would otherwise be displaced from the camera’s accessory shoe.

1.6 Sunshade

Attach the Velcro (hook side) ① to the outside of the sunshade frame of the monitor, open the sunshade ③, and align the Velcro (loop side) on the inside of the sunshade with the Velcro (hook side) ② on the monitor sunshade frame, and then complete the sunshade installation ④.

After correctly connecting to the power supply, the indicator will turn (Red), press to turn on monitor power, the indicator will be Yellow and then input HDMI signals, the indicator will turn Green from Yellow.
2.1 When the menu is not displayed, directly press the “<” or “>” button to adjust the volume or backlight. You can set the left and right buttons in the menu Left Right Key Set to set the volume or backlight.
2.2 Press the “MENU” button to enter OSD main menu, and press the “<” or “>” button to go through the secondary menu function.
2.3 Then press the “F1/∨” button to enter the secondary menu.
Press the “F1/∨” or “F2/∧” button to move and select the items in the secondary menu.
2.4 After selecting the items in the secondary menu, press the “<” or “>” button to adjust the item parameters.
2.5 Press the “MENU” button to confirm the item adjustment and exit the menu.

Due to the image color being colorful when shooting in natural light, the user may react to the edge of the single line not being too sensitive, at this time changing the auxiliary focal edge line color will improve the sensitivity of the image contour. It is convenient during filming to track in focus. The edge line color can be chosen according to the site situation to select red, green, and blue.
Embedded Audio| Off, On
The Audio Level Meters provide numerical indicators and headroom levels. The audio meter is green and will turn yellow when exceeds -20dB, and turn red when exceeds -9dB.

Open the Nine Grid function to divide the image into nine grids, then turn on the Nine Grid Zoom function, select one of the screens by pressing the “<” or “>” key, and then press the “F1/∨” or “F2/∧” key zoom in to the full screen. Press the “F1/∨” or “F2/∧” key to exit the local zoom function. (To achieve this function, you need to turn on the Nine Grid function first, and it can only be operated by keys.)

To set the 2 shortcut custom buttons F1, F2, and F3on the panel.
e.g. When in the OSD menu “ ”, press the “>” button to select F1 , press the “<” or “>” button to pop-up function items, and press the “<” or “>” button to select one of them, such as “Focus Assist”, and press “ MENU ” button to confirm. So when you exit the OSD menu, you could press F1 directly on the front of the panel to turn on the “Focus Assist” function.

Trouble Shooting

5.1 Only black and white or monochrome picture:

  1. please check saturation, brightness & contrast adjustment.
  2. Please check that “Check Field” is in the black, white, or monochrome image or other conditions.

5.2 NO Image after putting on the power

  1. Check if the signal cable connecting is in good condition.
  2. Check the signal cable connecting, and make sure to use the standard adapter to connect the monitor. If power is supplied by a battery, please check if the battery is fully charged.

5.3 Earphone No sound
Check if the Volume control does not open, press the volume button, and try to increase the volume.
