SAFETY GUIDELINES
- Do not plug the fan into a power socket until it has been completely assembled.
- Always ensure the fan is placed on a flat surface.
- Use fan indoors only and always unplug the fan when not in use.
- Never allow the fan to come into contact with water. Keep away from bathtubs, basins, swimming pools and showers.
- Do not place the fan near a heating source.
- Never leave the fan unattended around children.
- Do not insert fingers or any other objects into the fan.
- Use only on the voltage specified on the rating label.
- Do not cover or restrict airflow to the inlet or exhaust grills.
- Do not operate around flammable substances such as gasoline or paint.
- Never operate if there are signs of damage to the cord, plug or appliance.
- Use this appliance only as described in the manual.
- Never unplug the unit from the mains until it has been switched off.
- Do not run the cord under carpeting, rugs or runners to avoid it being tripped over.
- Do not operate the fan near curtains or any other fabrics that coul be sucked in. Unplug the fan and store in a dry, safe place when not in use.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shll not be made by children without supervision.
- The appliance is for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Ensure that the fan is disconnected from the power supply before removing or maintaining the device.
Specification
SETUP
- Connect the two sections of the base together.
- Secure the fan on the base with the metal nuts provided. Pass the power cord through the hole in the middle of the base.
- Connect the power cord to both the product and the wall socket. The fan will beep.
- To turn it on, press the button on the control panel located on top of the fan.
- To turn it off, press the button again.
- Press the oscillating button to activate or deactivate the oscillating function. When active, the fan will turn slowly to 80° and back again
- Press the speed button to adjust the air speed between high medium & low.
- When the fan is running, press the button to select the length of time the fan should operate before automatically turning it off. The button can be repeatedly pressed to increase the amount of time from 1 to 7 hours. When multiple lights have been illuminated the duration of the timer is equal to the combined total.
OPERATING THE FAN USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
- To start using the remote control to operate the fan, slide out the battery tray and insert 1x CR2025 battery. Replace tray.
- The remote control functions in the same way as the control panel and should be used as such.
- The effective range of the remote control is 5m from the fan and should be directed towards the front of the fan when in use.
- Press the button to activate or deactivate the oscillating function. When active, the fan will turn slowly to 80° and back again.
- Press the button to adjust the air speed between high, medium &low.
- Press the button to select the length of time the fan should operate. The button can be repeatedly pressed to increase the amount of time the fan is on for, between 1 and 7 hours.
- Warning: keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Choking hazard. Do not swallow. Harmful if swallowed. Swallowing can lead to chemical bums, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek medical attention immediately.
- Do not allow children to handle batteries.
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Do not dismantle batteries.
- Always select the correct size and type of battery most suitable for the intended use. Information provided with the equipment to assist correct battery selection should be retained for reference.
- Do not connect the batteries improperly. Always ensure that the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and-).
- Do not mix battery types.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not heat, charge or dispose of the batteries in fire. The batteries may leak or explode.
- Remove exhausted batteries promptly.
- Always store batteries in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. ->->
- Always inspect batteries before use. Battery acid can be harmful and damaged or weak batteries may leak acid.
- Ensure the battery compartment is correctly and securely closed after installing the batteries and keep the equipment containing batteries out of reach of children.
- Regularly check batteries and remove from device when not in use for extended periods.
- Discontinue use if batteries show signs of leakage, damage or weakness at any time.
- Wash hands after handling the batteries.
- Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.
CLEANING
- Unplug from the electricity supply before cleaning.
- Plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soap. Thoroughly remove soap film with dry cloth.
- To avoid scratching the surface, do not use any abrasive detergents or solvents.
MAINTENANCE
The fan requires little maintenance. Do not try to fix it by yourself. Refer it to qualified service personnel if service is required.
- To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents at the rear of the motor free of dust. Do not disassemble the fan to remove dust.
- Do not allow water or any other liquid into the motor housing or interior parts.
DISPOSAL
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household waste through the EU. This is to prevent possible harm to the environment and human wellbeing. Contact your local authority for information regarding the collection systems available. If possible, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of resources.
