Product Usage Instructions
Installation

- Mount the indoor unit on the ceiling using the provided accessories.
- Connect the refrigerant piping between the indoor and outdoor units.
- Install the outdoor unit in a well-ventilated area.
- Connect the electrical wires according to the provided diagram.
- Test the system to ensure proper installation.
Operation
To operate the product, follow these steps:
- Turn on the power supply.
- Select the desired mode (cooling, heating, etc.) using the remote control or wired controller.
- Adjust the temperature and fan speed as desired.
- The product will automatically maintain the set temperature and provide comfortable air conditioning.

Q: Can I use a wireless remote controller with the PLA-A18EA8 indoor unit?
A: No, the PAC-SF40RM-E wired remote controller is not compatible with
wireless remote controllers.
Q: What is the recommended ceiling height for the indoor unit?
A: The minimum recommended ceiling height is 118-1/8″ (3000mm) or more.
Q: Can I install the outdoor unit in a small space?
A: No, there should be at least 17-11/16″ (450mm) of space in the ceiling
for proper installation.

- REINFORCE THE SUSPENSION BOLT FOR EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANCE AS NEEDED.
- FOR THE SUSPENSION BOLT, USE M10 OR W3/8. (PROCURED AT THE LOCAL SITE.)
- FOR DRAIN PIPE, USE VP-25(O.D. n1-1/4*([ 32) PVC TUBE). DRAIN PUMP INCLUSION. RAISE IS MAX 33-7/16 (850mm) FROM THE CEILING.
- ELECTRICAL BOX MAY BE REMOVED FOR THE SERVICE PURPOSE. MAKE SURE TO SLACK THE ELECTRICAL WIRE LITTLE BIT FOR CONTROL/POWER WIRES CONNECTION.
- THE HEIGHT OF THE INDOOR UNIT IS ABLE TO BE ADJUSTED WITH THE GRILLE ATTACHED.
- REQUIRES “E” OR MORE SPACE BETWEEN THE TRANSOM AND CEILING FOR THE INSTALLATION.
- WHEN INSTALLING THE BRANCH DUCTS, BE SURE TO INSULATE ADEQUATELY. OTHERWISE CONDENSATION AND DRIPPING MAY OCCUR. (IT BECOMES THE CAUSE OF DROPLET OR DROPLET DRIPPING.) |
