SAFRTY WARNING

• Never use the autoclave for medical use.
• Dry burning of the autoclave is strictly prohibited. Do not heat models without timer (LHS-12A, LHS-18A) for more than 30 minutes. Models with timer (LHS-18C, LHS-24C) please add water or stop heating after the autoclave alarms.
• The loading capacity of the pressure canner shall not exceed 80o/o of the volume.
• It is forbidden to move, carry, roll or shake the autoclave during the working process.
• At the end of the cycle, if the upper cover is opened when the temperature inside the container is too high, a large amount of hot gas will emerge from the container, please do not put your face and hands near the room.
• The pressure canner has protective grounding, which must be firm with the external grounding, and cannot be connected with zero grounding.
• Never loosen wing nuts until the steam pressure gauge registerszero and you have allowed any remaining pressure to escape byopening the control valve (toggle in the vertical position).
• Do not open the autoclave until the unit has cooled and internal pressure has been reduced.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

• The instrument should be placed in a well-ventilated, spacious, bright, dry and flat independent room, and should be placed stably and firmly with more than 50cm space around it for easy operation and maintenance.
• The instrument must be grounded.
• The power supply of the instrument is recommended to be AC 11 OV± 1 OV, 60HZ, 1 SA.
• It is recommended to install a breaker for the circuit as a power disconnecting device.

OPERATION GUIDE

1. Make sure the pressure canner put on a solid flat surface that will not be damaged by heat.

2. Open the lid of the instrument, take out the inner container (then you will see the heating element).

3. Pour in enough water to fully immerse the heating element.
   Warning : Please note that the instrument should work with enough water to submerge the electric heating element to avoid burning it.

4. Put the items in sequence into the container, make sure that there is still some space left to let the steam penetrate well into the things and increase the effect.

5. Insert the air venting tube into the groove in the container to help expel cold air and make the pressure gauge more accurate.

6. Fasten the lid and tighten nuts in diagonal form.
   Warning : If not tighten the nuts in diagonal positions at the same time may result in leakage.

8. Pull up the release valve to facilitate the discharge of cold air.

9. When urgent steam is ejected from the release valve, pull down the release valve.

10. As the heating continues, the pointer of the pressure gauge will rise and indicate the steam pressure inside.

11. When the safety valve automatically discharges steam, start the heating timing. When the temperature rises to 257F, the safety valve automatically works to maintain a constant temperature

12. At the end, disconnect the power supply and turn the the release valve to the upright (vertical) position to allow steam to escape. To avoid touching the hot toggle lever, you can use any object, such as a wrench or heat pad. When the gauge shows zero, loosen the wing nuts evenly by turning both opposing wing nuts counterclockwise

MAINTENANCE

• Regularly check the sealing effect of the cover to ensure that the reliability of the rubber seal will not partially fall off.
• When not in use for a long time, please keep the rubber seal in water to prevent the rubber seal from suddenly falling off during the next use and causing a pressure relief accident.
• The instrument shall be cleaned at least once a month. First, disconnect the power supply and take out the inner barrel, brush away the scale covered on the wall of the heating room, and then wash with water.
• After the pressure gauge is used for some time, the pointer of the pressure gauge may not return to the zero position, so it shall be repaired in time. At ordinary times, it should be compared with the standard pressure gauge regularly. In case of any abnormality, it should be replaced in time. The pressure gauge should be calibrated once every six months to prevent accidents.
• The security valve should also be examined regularly to ensure the reliability, if the security valve not work when the working pressure above 1. Spsi, then this security valve should be examined and replaced.
