USING AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Your conversion kit will arrive with all the parts needed to convert your natural gas griddle to liquid propane or natural gas (Fig 1.1 ). Included gas specific regulator natural gas or liquid propane conversion orifices infrared conversion orifice
The conversion kit is made to work across Wildfire’s entire collection, for this application, we will need two of the conversion orifices (Fig 1.2) and the gas-specific regulator.

Start by removing both the rear wind guard and front drip tray to gain access to the griddle plate mounting brackets shown in Figures 2.1 & 2.2.WILDFIRE-
Ranch-Pro-30-Inch-Propane-Griddle-fig-8With both removed you will now have access to remove the griddle by unscrewing the three (Phillips} mounting screws shown in Figure 2.3. The front two screws may be hard to access without the use of a right-angle ratcheting screwdriver.WILDFIRE-Ranch-Pro-30-Inch-Propane-Griddle-
fig-9 Once all three mounting screws are removed, the griddle surface may be taken off by lifting it straight up. Use caution as the griddle surface is heavy.

Once the griddle surface is removed you will have access to the burners, removing the single screw holding each burner at the back of the griddle will allow you to gently pull the burner free.

  • IMPORTANT! Use caution when pulling the burner free, as it will still be connected by the thermopile circled in Figure 3.1 there is enough slack to allow the burner to be moved to the side but not be fully removed from the griddle body.
  • With the burner moved to the side, you will have access to the gas orifice through the burner mounting hole circled in Figure 3.2.
  • Using a 1/ 4″ socket the original gas orifices can be unscrewed and removed through the burner hole.

Repeat this entire process on both burners.

  • After removing the old gas orifice, the new orifice provided (Fig 1.2) in the conversion kit can be installed by carefully using the socket to hold the orifice and screwing it in.
  • Repeat this process on both burners.
  • You can now work back through the steps to reattach the griddle surface.
  • With everything reassembled remove the original hose and regulator at the rear of the griddle and install the provided appropriate hose and regulator from the conversion kit. Shown in figures 4.3 & 4.4.
