Safety Instructions

PLEASE READY CAREFULLY BEFORE USE

IMPORTANT
For your protection, please read these warnings, precautions and safety/operating instructions completely before operating this product. Follow these instructions closely and keep this manual for future reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
To reduce the risk of fire. electrical shock or product damage/failure:

  • Do not expose unit with the battery cap open to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. Do not open or close the battery cap with wet hand. Completely wipe off water on unit and door before opening.
  • Do not lay product on moist ground or submerge in water (this unit is designed for in-hand outdoor use).
  • DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN FLASHLIGHT HEAD; THE HEAD IS SEALED AND ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FLASHLIGHT AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. UNINSULATED, ‘DANGEROUS VOLTAGE’ WITHIN PRODUCTS ENCLOSURE – DO NOT REMOVE FLASHLIGHT HEAD. THERE ARE NO USER -SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE, REFER SERVICING TO PRIMOS® CUSTOMER SERVICE.
  • Do not expose to extreme heat. Do not leave product and/or batteries exposed in direct sunlight inside a vehicle, or other contained environment for a long period of time.

WARNING:  The Bloodhunter HD is a high-intensity lighting device capable of causing eye damage. AVOID SHINING THE LIGHT BEAM DIRECTLY INTO ANYONE’S EYES.
Safety instruction

  • Lumen output after light passes thru proprietary Bloodhunter HD lens which specifically mutes natural colors and enhances blood red. CREE LED is programmed to output 600 Lumens on HIGH mode.

Note:  The above-mentioned parameters were lab-tested by Primos using CR123A Lithium Batteries and are approximate and may vary between flashlights, batteries and environments.

  • Uses Cree XM-L(U2) LED with a lifespan of 50000 hours
  • Operates with four CR123A Lithium Batteries
  • 227-grams weight (excluding batteries)
  • Digitally regulated output – maintains constant brightness
  • Low-voltage warning function to alert users to replace the batteries (The light blinks slowly ON and OFF when the battery voltage gets low, this means change the batteries.)
  • Reverse polarity protection guards against improper battery installation
  • Made of durable aircraft-grade aluminum
  • Proprietary HO Bloodhunter lens

CARE & CAUTION

Transport and handle with care. Do not intentionally shake, bump, hit, or drop in an aggressive manner. This can result in product malfunction or damage to key components.

OPERATING TEMPERATURE

  • Recommended storage temperature range -10°F to 140°F
  • Recommended operating temperature range 20°F to 120°F

USAGE AND MAINTENANCE

We recommend the use of high quality batteries. If the flashlight is not to be used for an extended period. remove the batteries or the flashlight could be damaged by battery leakage or battery explosion.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

One button controls the Bloodhunter HD operation. The red button controls the power ON/OFF and BRIGHTNESS MODE.

  • Press the button repeatedly to cycle between HIGH and LOW modes.
  • The mode defaults to HIGH if the button presses are too slow.
  • The first single press turns the Bloodhunter HD power ON (high mode)
  • The second single press turns the Bloodhunter HD power OFF
  • The third single press turns the Bloodhunter HD power ON (low mode)
  • The forth single press turns the Bloodhunter HD power OFF
  • This cycle then repeats itself.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION

We have limited the temperature output intensity on Bloodhunter HO to prevent harmful overheating. However, the Bloodhunter HD can build up heat when operating in HIGH MODE for extended periods — please use with caution.

BATTERY SPECIFICATIONS

Type: Non-Rechargable CR123A Batteries (all other battery types are banned and NOT recommended) Nominal Voltage: 3V

WARNING: To avoid possible product damage and/or injury, NEVER INSTALL DIFFERENT BRANDS, SIZE, CAPACITY OR TYPES OF BATTERIES in the product at the same time. Only use batteries as specified in this user manual and install according to correct polarization. Failure to follow may result in leaking or exploding batteries, damage to product. fire or personal injury. Do not handle damaged or leaking batteries

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Unscrew the battery cap and then insert four CR123A batteries with the battery terminals as indicated (labeled) on the flashlight. After loading the batteries into the housing, replace the battery cap and thread snugly onto battery housing.

WARNING: DO NOT use window cleaner to clean flashlight lens as it will remove coating from lens.

You are cautioned that any changes or modifications not expressly approved in this manual could void your warranty of this equipment.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

Primos’ limited warranty covers any defects in materials and/or workmanship for the period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Should the product be proven to Primos to be defective, we shall decide to repair or replace the product at our discretion. Damages that result from the misuse or abuse of the product are not covered. Any claims must be submitted to the customer service department using the contact information below. All returned products must be accompanied by the original dated receipt and proof of purchase to be considered for repair or replacement.

FCC STATEMENT

Changes not expressly approved by Primose could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

Note:  This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions. may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an output on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

Shielded interface cable must be used with the equipment in order to comply with the limits for a digital device pursuant to Subpart B of Part 15 of FCC Rules. Specifications and designs are subject to change without any notice or obligation on the part of the manufacturer.
