Product Usage Instructions

sCS Remote app

  • Colour Control
If you change the colour control of one head, all heads will receive the same colour temperature. This ensures that all heads of your FSL will have the same colour temperature.

  • FSL Ordering by Signal Strength
FSLs out of range are ordered by last seen date. If the signal strength changes, the FSL order will also change.

  • New Global On/Off Behaviour
If you turn on or off a multi-head FSL, all heads will react simultaneously. Previously, the heads were switched on/off one after the other.

  • Presence Luminous Intensity Setting
The presence luminous intensity can now be set in the Settings page. If the light regulation is active, it will be expressed in lux. If the light regulation is not active, it will be expressed in percent.

sCS commissioning app

  • New Global Group Concept for FSL Application
Three new global groups are introduced, and drivers are automatically added to those groups. Group 13 is for Direct Drivers, Group 14 is for Indirect Drivers, and Group 15 is a general global group.

  • New Light Regulation Algorithm for FSL Multi-Head Application
With this update of the light regulation algorithm, the lux level of all sensors is considered, and the light regulation regulates the light until all sensors have reached the set value. In the past, the light regulation was done head-dependent. With this improvement, the whole FSL is regulated homogeneously, meaning that all heads will have the same lux level.

FAQ

  • Q: What is the purpose of the sCS Remote app?
A: The sCS Remote app allows users to control the colour temperature and on/off behaviour of multiple FSL heads simultaneously.

  • Q: How can I set the presence luminous intensity?
A: You can set the presence luminous intensity in the Settings page of the sCS Remote app. If light regulation is active, it will be expressed in lux. If light regulation is not active, it will be expressed in percent.

Release versions

TRIDONIC-sceneCOM-S-RTC-Application-Controller- \(1\)

Features Release 12.2023

sCS Remote app
Colour Control improved

If a user changes the colour control of one head, all heads will receive this colour temperature. This ensures that all heads of your FSL will have the same colour temperature.

FSLs now ordered by signal strength

  • FSLs out of range are ordered by last seen date.
  • If the signal strength changes, the FSL order also changes.

New global on/off behaviour

If you turn on or off a multi-head FSL, all heads will react simultaneously. In the past the heads were switched on/off one after the other.

“Presence Luminous Intensity” can now be set in the “Settings” page.

  • If the light regulation is active, it will be expressed in lux if the light regulation is not active it will be expressed in percent.

sCS commissioning app
New global group concept for FSL application

  • 3 new global groups are introduced, drivers are automatically added to those groups
  • Group 13 is introduced as a global group for Direct Drivers
  • Group 14 is introduced as a global group for Indirect Drivers
  • Group 15 is introduced as a global group

TRIDONIC-sceneCOM-S-RTC-Application-Controller- \(2\)

New light regulation algorithm for the FSL multi head application

With this update of the light regulation algorithm, the lux level of all sensors is considered and the light regulation regulates the light until all sensors have reached the set value.
In the past the light regulation was done head depended. With this improvement the whole FSL is regulated homogeneous, which means that all heads will have the same lux level.

Example of a 4 Head FSL

Scenario A:
Head A in presence -> Sensor of Head A will be used as reference, because there is just one Head in presence state.

  • If swarm feature is not enabled _ Head B, C and D will stay off
  • If swarm feature is enabled
Head B, C and D will go to “swarm direct neighbour level”, the heads will regulate to e.g. 50% of the programmed target value (if the direct neighbour level is programmed to 50%) but as the reference sensor the sensor who measures the lowest lux level of the three heads will be considered.

Scenario B:
Head A and B in presence → Sensor that measures the lower lux level will be used as reference sensor.

  • If swarm feature is not enabled
  • Head C and D will stay off.
  • If swarm feature is enabled

Head C and D will go to “swarm direct neighbour level”, the heads will regulate to e.g. 50% of the programmed target value (if the direct neighbour level is programmed to 50%) but as the reference sensor the sensor who measures the lowest lux level of the two heads will be considered.
