Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Turn off the power and remove the existing fixture
Before starting the assembly process, make sure to turn off the power to the electrical circuit and safely remove any existing fixtures.

Step 2: Attach A to the outlet box

1. Unscrew nut D from screw collar loop C.
2. Attach A to the outlet box using AA.
3. Use pliers to tighten locking nut B until it touches A.

Step 3: Adjust the chain length

1. Unscrew the K/D rings G from chain F.
2. Adjust chain F to the desired length.
3. Spread the chain link using standard pliers and screwdrivers.
4. Twist the chain link in the opposite direction to remove any extra chain lengths.

Step 4: Route the wires through the rods
Pull the cord taut and attach the rod assembly together. Make sure to route the wires through the ends of the rods with the threaded nipple first for proper assembly.

Step 5: Secure the chain and canopy

1. Attach one K/D ring (G) to the loop of the rod (H).
2. Attach the other K/D ring (G) through the nut (D), canopy (E), and onto the screw collar loop (C).
3. Screw the K/D rings (G) until the chain (F) is firmly secured.

Step 6: Weave electrical wires through the fixture
Weave the electrical wires and ground wire up chain F, through nut D, canopy E, screw collar loop C, threaded tube B, and into the outlet box.

WARNING

• Assistance may be required to support the fixture during installation.

CAUTION

• Connect the fixture to supply wires rated for at least 167˚F.
• Workable for dimming circuits when using appropriate light bulbs with dimmable functions.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

Turn off the power and remove the existing fixture.

1. Unscrew nut D from screw collar loop C. Attach A to the outlet box using AA. Use pliers (not included) to tighten the locking nut on B until the locking nut touches A.

2. Temporarily place E through B to determine the adjustment necessary for B.

3. Pull the cord taut, then attach the rod assembly together.
   Note : To ensure proper assembly, make sure to rout the wires through the ends of the rods with the threaded nipple first.

4. Unscrew the K/D rings G from chain F. Adjust chain F to the desired length. Spread the chain link using standard pliers (not included) and screwdriver (not included) twist the chain link in the opposite direction and remove the extra chain lengths.

5. Attach one K/D ring (G) to the loop of the rod (H), and the other one through the nut (D), through the canopy (E), and onto the screw collar loop (C). Then, screw the K/D rings (G) until the chain (F ) is firmly secured.

6. Weave electrical wires and ground wire up chain F, through nut D, through canopy E, through the screw collar loop C, through threaded tube B, and into the outlet box.

7. Feed wires. Twist the stripped ends of the white, ribbed, or tinned wire without writing from the mixture evenly against the white wire from the outlet box. Connect the black, smooth, or un-tinned wire with writing from the fixture to the black wire from the outlet box in the same manner. Snip ends. Attach copper wire to ground wire.

8. Attach BB to connections with electrical tape (not included).

9. Lift E over C, securing in place with previously removed D.

10. Unscrew socket rings M from sockets on fixture body L.

11. Attach glass shades N over the sockets. Secure with socket rings M.

12. Install light bulbs (not included). Use 60-watt max. standard-base incandescent bulbs or CFL/LED equivalents.

13. The assembly is complete. Turn the power back on.
