Product Usage Instructions
Installation with Friction Clip Blades
- Remove the torsion spring brackets completely (keep screws).
- Install the trim to the module.
- Locate the friction clip with 6 cut outs.
- Attach the friction clip to the base using the screw from Step 1.
- Repeat steps 1-3 for the second clip.
- If using friction clips, squeeze opposing blades together until clips fit inside the housing.
- Carefully insert ML560 into the housing, allowing springs to expand and hold ML560 in place.
Installation with Friction Clip Blades
- Completely remove the torsion spring brackets (retain the screws).
- Install the trim onto the module.
- Locate the friction clip blade with 6 cutouts.
- Attach the blade friction clip to the base using the screw from step 1.
- Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the second clip blade.
- If using friction clip blades, squeeze opposing blades together until the clips fit inside the housing.
- Carefully insert the ML560 into the case, allowing the springs to expand and hold the ML560 in place.

INSTALLATION WITH FRICTION CLIP BLADES
For 6” housings without torsion spring receiving brackets ML56CLIP friction clip blades may be used (see ML56 LED instruction sheet page 1 in the HOUSINGS section of these instructions for a listing of the most common housings):
- Remove torsion spring brackets completely (keep screws) (see Fig. 1).
- Install the trim to the module
- Locate friction clip with “6” cut out (see Fig. 2).
- Attach friction clip to base with “6” (use screw from Step 1) (see Fig. 2).
- Repeat 1-3 for second clip.
- If using friction clips, squeeze opposing blades together until clips fit inside housing then carefully insert ML560 into housing allowing springs to expand tohold ML560 in housing.
