Read these guidelines carefully. Not following them may be dangerous or illegal.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The device can be used by children over 8 years of age and people with limited
mental or physical predispositions, only if under supervision or if they are
familiar with the user manual and understand the danger posed by using the
device. This device is not a toy. Disconnect the unit from the power supply
before starting cleaning and maintenance. If the power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service centre representative or
qualified personnel.
DO NOT RISK
The device is intended for indoor use only. Not suitable for outdoor use
(terraces, balconies, etc.). Do not use this device in locations where it is
prohibited to use electrical equipment, or where it may cause harmful
interference or other hazards. Do not switch on or use the device close to
flammable materials. Do not place any flammable objects on the device – this
may result in damage to the device or even fire. Do not lift or carry the
device while it is switched on. The device must not be used in combination
with a time-controlled switch or remote control.
SURROUNDINGS
The device should be placed on flat surfaces – stone worktops, tables, etc.
The device should be moved away from walls, vertical furniture surfaces and
any materials that are not resistant to high temperatures – elements of the
kettle become quite hot, and the device produces steam.
Keep children under 8 years of age and pets away from the unit when it is in
operation, as the internal and external surfaces of the unit become very hot
during operation – there is a risk of burns. The power cord may cause
tripping, tipping over or other injuries.
WATER AND OTHER LIQUIDS
Do not expose the device and its base to water or other liquids – especially
avoid water access to the base and power connector. It can influence work and
the life span of electronic components. Avoid working in an environment with
high humidity – steamed kitchens or bathrooms. Particles of water from any
source may cause moisture to appear in the device, which may result in damage
to the device and, in extreme cases, of electric shock.
QUALIFIED SERVICE
Only qualified personnel or an authorized service centre may install or repair
this product. Repairing by an unauthorized or unqualified service may cause
device damage and warranty loss. The manufacturer is not responsible for
problems caused by unauthorized modifications to the equipment made by the
user.

CONSTRUCTION
BASE
USE
- WARNING! Residual heat remains on the surface of the heating element of the device even after use.
- If the kettle is filled above the maximum level (1.7 litres), boiling water may escape uncontrolled.
- The kettle may only be used with the base supplied with the set.
- Make sure your hands are not wet before operating the machine. The unit should remain unplugged from the power source.
- Do not use excessive force to close the cover. If it does not close check if something is not blocking it.
- Ensure that the cable is routed so that there is no possibility of damage, cutting,pushing or pulling that could cause damage to the equipment or injury to you or anyone else. Place the device on a flat, horizontal and stable surface.
- The device may only be connected to a power outlet equipped with a protective pin.
- If you notice that the housing, cable, base or power plug is damaged, do not turn on the device.
- Only tap, filtered or spring water may be boiled in the kettle. Do not use mineral, therapeutic water or dirty water and any other liquids.
- When boiling water, hot steam escapes between the opening in the housing and the sides of the lid.
- Be careful with the housing, its surface is getting hot and we recommend that you open and close the device using the plastic lid opening button.
- Be careful that water does not get into the housing of the device This is an electric appliance and water may cause a short circuit that may damage the appliance or cause electric shock.
- Removing the kettle from the base stops all the processes.
- Lift the kettle only using the handle.
- Do not keep water in the kettle for a long time – this can cause scale build-up. Unused water is best poured out.
- Pour an amount of water into the kettle that is equal to or higher than MIN (about0.5l) but not higher than MAX (about 1.7l). Pouring too much water can result in damage to the device. If the water quantity is less than 0.5 l (MIN on the scale), the kettle can switch off automatically to protect the unit from overheating.
- To save electricity boil only the amount of water you need, but not less than MIN on the scale (0.5l).
- The cooking process can be interrupted at any time by switching the switch to the 0 position, in extreme cases you can stop the kettle from working by lifting it from the base or by unplugging in from the power supply socket.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Take the base out of the foil and unravel the power supply cable. Push the cable through the whole in the base – it should provide stability to the kettle.
- The base should be placed in spot where there is no risk of knocking and where children and pets cannot reach it.
- Make sure that there are no furniture or other materials in the immediate vicinity of the kettle that are not resistant to steam and heat (hot steam).
- If all components are visually undamaged, plug the power plug into a power outlet.
FILLING THE KETTLE WITH WATER
- Open the lid by pressing the opening button.
- Lift the kettle with the handle and pour-in water from the tap. You can also sit the kettle on a table top and pour-in filtered or spring water from a bottle.
- Position the kettle on the base so that the power outlet in the kettle matches the connector on the base and the whole device is stable.
REMOVAL OF CONTAMINANTS AND PRESERVATIVES
- Before boiling the water for use for the first time, remove all dirt and preservatives from the interior of the kettle. It is important for your health and for keeping neutral taste of the boiled water.
- To clean the interior of the kettle before the first use pour water to up to maximum value marked MAX and boil the water until it boils. Pour the water out.
- Rinse the interior with clear water.
- After it cools down, wash the inside with a dishwashing liquid and rinse thoroughly. Fill the kettle with water again and boil it. Pour that water out as well.
- The kettle should be ready to use.
- The procedure for boiling water is described in subsection “BOILING WATER”.
WATER BOILING
- To boil water, fill the kettle with clean water so that its level is within the limits marked on the scale window – MIN (about 0.5l) and MAX (about 1.7l).
- Press the switch button – it is situated in the upper part of the handle.
- The process of water boiling will also be confirmed by switching on the kettle’s backlight
- The water will reach 100°C and the kettle with switch off.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- WARNING! The device must not be submerged in water or washed under running water!
- Make sure your hands are dry before cleaning the unit. The device has to cool down and be disconnected from the power supply.
- The device requires no maintenance.
CLEANING AND DESCALING THE KETTLE
- After the empty device has cooled down, you can clean the exterior of the device using a paper towel or soft cloth.
- For soiling more difficult to remove, a slightly dampened paper towel or soft cloth can be used.
- To clean the interiors of the kettle it is best to use mild, non-concentrated dishwashing liquids, delicate cloths or sponges and then rinse it thoroughly with clean water.
- In case of limescale build-up on the inner part of the device, apply an appropriate agent to remove limescale that is suitable for food contact. It can be purchased in most of the large grocery stores and those offering household appliances. Those products are in powder or liquid form. Follow the instructions attached.
TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of any problems with the device, please refer to the following tips.
The device has no user-serviceable parts.
The device does not function even though the plug is plugged into the mains.
- Check that the plug or power cord is not damaged.
- Check if the connection between the plug and power supply is correct.
- Check whether the electrical outlet is damaged – select another one.
- Check if the kettle is firmly situated in the base.
Water heats up a long time
Check the insides of the kettle – it might be covered in limescale. Scale is a
poor heat conductor.
The kettle turns off too quickly
Check the amount of water in the kettle is not too low. Too little water can
trigger the sensor that prevents the product from overheating.
If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer’s service department.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
STORAGE OF EQUIPMENT
If you are not going to use the device for a long time, after disconnecting it
from the power supply, cooling and cleaning its components, store it in a dry
room away from heat and moisture sources. It is best to place the device in
its original packaging, out of reach of children and pets.
TRANSPORT OF THE DEVICE
It is recommended to transport the device in its original packaging. Do not
expose the unit to excessive vibration or shock during transportation. If it
is necessary to move the device during use, do so only after it has been
switched off, cooled down and the lid is closed, holding the handle. Do not
expose the device to high temperatures or moisture.
WARRANTY AND SERVICE
The product is covered by a 3-year warranty, counting from the date of sale of the product. If you need to make use of a warranty claim, please contact the manufacturer’s helpline or point of sale. The product returned for warranty claim should be complete and best in its original packaging.
