IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

  1. It is important to read this entire manual before assembling and using the KS260. Safe and efficient use can only be achieved if the KS260 is assembled, maintained and used properly. It is your respon-sibility to ensure that all users of the KS260 are informed of all warnings and precautions.
  2. Before starting any exercise program you should consult your doctor to determine if you have any physical or health conditions that could create a risk to your health and safety or prevent you from using the equipment properly. Your doctor‘s advice is essential if you are taking medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure or cholesterol level.
  3. Be aware of your body‘s signals. Incorrect or excessive exercise can damage your health. Stop exercising if you experience any of the following symptoms: Pain, tightness in your chest, irregular heartbeat, extreme shortness of breath, feeling light headed, dizzy or nauseous. If you do experience any of these conditions you should consult your doctor before continuing with your exercise program.
  4. Keep children and pets away from the equipment. The equipment is designed for adult use only.
  5. The appliance should be attached to a sturdy doorframe. Measure your doorframe and check your device is of the correct size. This ensures the thread will be able to build sufficient pressure in order to carry the weight. This pull-up bar may only be used in door frames with a width of 65 – 90 cm.
  6. Make sure that your device is firmly fixed and secured with the enclosed locking mechanisms before you use it.
  7. The safety level of the KS260 can only be maintained if it is regularly examined for damage and/or wear and tear.
  8. Maximum weight of the user with brackets up to 150 kg. For home use only.
  9. The device is not designed to attach for instance a children‘s swing or something similar to it, or use it as such. Improper use of the pull-up bar is at your own risk!
  10. The pull bar should be extended evenly. Make sure that the rods extend to a maximum of 90 cm to ensure your safety.
  11. Avoid loose clothing that could possibly get stuck in the device.
  12. The KS260 is not for strongly rotating movements, e.g. not designed for rollovers.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Follow these instructions carefully please, and your pull-up bar will be ready for training within about just 5 minutes. This pull-up bar may only be used in door frames with a width of 65 – 90 cm.
  • Before installing, find a suitable, sturdy door frame made of solid building material. Make sure the door frame can withstand the forces exerted by attaching the pull-up bar.
    • Door frames made from these materials are suitable for attaching the KS260:

Solid walls made of brick, stone, concrete and door frames made of solid wood or metal are resilient and offer the KS260 very good sup-port. Such frames are generally perfectly suited for attaching a pull-up bar and the associated brackets.

  * Door frames made from these materials are NOT suitable for attaching the KS260:

Soft or lighter building materials such as highly porous bricks, aerated concrete, glass or hol-low door frames are not suitable. These would not stand the load, and the brackets would rip out.

  • Before attaching, please clean both your door frame and the padding of the pull-up bar carefully with a dry clo-th, without the use of cleaning agents. Before installation, remove all dirt, grease and liquids from the KS260 and your door frame to prevent the device from slipping.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

  • Step 1 After unpacking the device, the pull-up bar can be brought to the desired length by sliding both ends of the center bar outwards and unscrewing the telescopic bars at both ends.

  • Step 2 Make sure that both ends of the pull-up bar are extended by identical lengths. Try pushing the red locking mechanism towards the center on both sides and turning it in the direction of the arrow to test whether it clicks into place. If this is not the case, the lengths of the two ends do not match and must be adjusted. Release the locking mechanism again before you carry out the next assembly step.

  • Step 3 When fastening onto the door frame, make sure that the arrows of the locking mechanism point upwards and that the pull-up bar is in a perfect horizontal orientation to the floor.

  • Step 5 Make sure that the pull-up bar is really tight by gently pressing the device from all sides with your hands. If necessary, readjust by turning the main rod. Since the door frame can still give a little during the first few training sessions, you should check the stability of the pull-up bar before each use, especially in the initial period after installation, and, if necessary, carefully turn the pull-up bar tighter without damaging the door frame.

  • Step 6 It is important that your pull-up bar is positioned exactly level with the floor. To ensure this, please use the attachable mini spirit level to the left or right of the telescopic bar between the handle and the central bar and align and secure the pull-up bar precisely horizontally before using it.

  • Step 7 To secure the position of the device, slide the red locking mechanism on both ends of the pull-up bar along the groove in the middle and snap it into place. If one of the two locking mechanisms does not engage directly, move the red lock with one hand and the corresponding grip with the other hand until both lock tightly into one another (to release the locking mechanism, reverse the sequence of steps). After successful locking, the rods are fully prevented from rotating.
