TRANSMITTER
Battery Installation
(*Make sure the power switch is on “OFF” position)
Transmitter Battery Requirement:
- 3 x 1.5 V LR03/R03/AAA Batteries (Not Included)
General Battery Safety Information
Read and follow operating instructions.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged by an adult.
- Dispose of battery(ies) safely.
- Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
- Batteries should be changed by adults only.
- Only charge using the provided USB charger cable.
Charging your Wasp
(*Make sure the power switch is on “OFF” position.)
- Swivel door upwards, unplug and remove battery (A).
- Plug the charging wire (B) into the charging cable* (C). Plug the charging cable into a compatible USB power source (D). (only use included USB charging cable)
- The charging LED light will turns ON, when light turns OFF, charge is complete.
- The Wasp charges in approx. 180 minutes for up to 8-9 minutes of flight time. Flying Range: approx. 200., Height: 165 .
Pairing of Transmitter & The Wasp
- Make sure battery is connected (E) and door is closed.
- Press and hold power button on top of the Wasp (F) until LEDs are flashing.
- Switch power switch ON on transmitter (G).
- Push both, accelerator and directional, sticks UP at the highest position (H) and then DOWN to the lowest position. Flashing lights will turnsolid when connected.
- It the Wasp did not connect, turn the Wasp and transmitter OFF, and repeat paring procedure.
SAFETY TIPS
- Read the operating manual thoroughly before playing it.
- Users should keep strict accordance with the instruction manual while operating the product.
- Adult supervision is recommended for the flight.
- Keep the Wasp away from face, hands, eyes, and hair at all times.
- Keep fingers, and face away from moving rotor blades, especially when switching on.
- DO NOT fly the Wasp near other people, animals, or in a place cluttered with obstacles such as breakable objects or fans.
- DO NOT fly the Wasp sitting on the floor or on a chair as this will increase risks of unexpected injury. Operate the Wasp in a posture that allows you to get out of the way quickly if necessary.
- Never disassemble or attempt to modify the product. It may damage the product and cause danger.
- Never use parts that are damaged or have altered shape in this product to ensure safe practice.
- Turn off transmitter and the Wasp when not in use.
- Remove battery from transmitter when not in use.
NOTICE! It is always recommended to calibrate the internal gyroscope before takeoff.
CALIBRATE GYRO
- Ensure the Wasp is on a smooth/level surface. Uneven surface will affect its takeoff.
- After connectiong the Wasp to transitter, press the “One Button Adjustement” button.
- Lights on the Wasp will flash quickly and then remain lit. Wasp is now calibrated.
AUTO TAKEOFF & AUTO LANDING:
- Press the “One Button Takeoff” button for the Wasp to automatically takeoff.
- Press the “One Button Landing” button to automatically land the Wasp.
- You can deactive “Landing Mode” by pushing up on the Left joystick.
HOME RETURN:
Press the “Home Return” button to automatically send the Wasp backwards.
Initiate and command to cancel.
HEADLESS MODE:
Press the “Headless Mode” button to enter headless mode.
Directionally will be relative to takeoff orientation instead of flight path
orientation. Light blink while in this mode. Press again to cancel.
SPEED:
You can change the speed (3 Modes) to suit the pilot’s flying proficiency.
- One Beep is Normal Mode.
- Two Beeps is Fast Mode.
- Three Beeps is Super Fast Mode.
ALTITUDE HOLD FEATURE:
The Wasp has a built-in Altitude hold fuction, it enables the Wasp to hover at
a fixed height stably.
ENVIRONMENT FOR FLIGHT:
Choose the place which meets the following conditions:
- Indoor environment with calm air conditions. Beware of the air circulation from air-conditioner/fans/wind.
- Space area: It is recommended to have space area over 3 m (10ft) (W) x 5 m (15-20ft) (L) x 2.5m (8ft) (H).
- Safety area: It is highly recommended that there is no electric fan, air-conditioner, reading lamp or other dangerous objects to impede the flight path.
LIFT-OFF PROCEDURE:
- Place the Wasp on a smooth surface. Uneven floor surface will affect its take off.
- SLOWLY push the accelerator up.
- DO NOT look at the transmitter but focus on the Wasp.
- As soon as the Wasp takes off, reduce the accelerator slightly. DO NOT reduce accelerator too fast!
FLIGHT CONTROL:
Accelerate & Decelerate/Hover Up & Down:
You can slowly push the lefi joystick up to make the Wasp fly higher, or push
the left joystick down to make it fly lower. Only small amounts of stick
position change are reqired for smooth flying.
ROTATE COUNTER CLOCKWISE AND CLOCKWISE:
While the Wasp is in flight, push the right joystick left to turn counter
clockwise, or right to turn clockwise.
MOVE FORWARD/BACKWARDS/LEFT/RIGHT:
While the Wasp is in flight, push the right joystick:
- LEFT to turn LEFT
- RIGHT to turn RIGHT
- Up to move FORWARD
- DOWN to move BACKWARDS
TRIM ADJUSTMENT:
If the Wasp is drifting at all, you must fine tune the trim:
If the Wasp drifts RIGHT, press the “LEFT Trim” button. If the Wasp drifts
LEFT press the “RIGHT Trim” button.
If the Wasp drifts FORWARD, press the “BACKWARD Trim” button. If the Wasp drifts “Backward”, press the “FORWARD Trim” button.

IMPORTANT!
3.7V battery pack is NOT fully charged prior to shipping and must be charged
or must charge approx. 180 minutes before use.
NOTE: Battery pack will become warm after charging or during use. Make certain
to allow the battery pack to cool before recharging. Charging a warm battery
pack will greatly reduce it’s life. Do not overcharge the battery pack which
may result in battery failure.
ATTENTION PARENTS:
The battery charger & battery pack need to be periodically examined for
potential hazards. Any potentially hazardous parts need to be repaired or
replaced. The charger used with the toy are to be regularly examined for
damage to the cord, plug, enclosure and other parts, and that, in the event of
such damage, the toys must not be used with this charger until the damage has
been repaired.
