PNi HS110 Wireless Gas Detector
Wireless gas sensor PNI SafeHouse HS110 compatible with alarm systems
The wireless gas sensor PNI SafeHouse HS110 is suitable for places where natural gas is being used. It provides safety gas detection and triggers an alarm in case of gas leakage. The product has the features of high sensitivity, high stability, multi-type gas detection, and small size. This product can be used independently, or connected wireless to a compatible alarm system like PNI SafeHouse HS550.
Features
When the gas concentration value in the surrounding environment reaches 8% LEL, the detector will issue an alarm sound and transmit a wireless alarm signal. When the concentration value drops below the 4% level in the surrounding environment, the detector will constantly alarm for 1 minute before stopping the alarm, and automatically return to the normal monitoring status after.

DESCRIPTION AND INSTALLATION
Installation method
- Screw Installation is recommended. Adhesive installation is an alternative choice that can be made with caution.
- To detach wall support rotate the sensor counterclockwise direction. Proceed installation of wall support by screws. Install the sensor back onto the wall support, rotating it clockwise.
- To ensure the best viewing angle of the LCD display, when installing, use the screws horizontal line as the standard, and place and install the mounting plate horizontally.
Display Information
- “8%LEL“: Current gas concentration value in the surrounding environment. The higher the value, the higher the gas concentration value. When the gas concentration value reaches 8% level, An alarm will be triggered.
- “180“: System preheating countdown time: the detector needs to preheat for 180s after powering on. The system enters normal monitoring status after preheating.
Installation Notice
- The product is designed for wall-mounted installation. Please install it above the area where the gas leakage may occur.
- The detector can not be installed too close to the gas source above, we suggest installing 2 m above the gas source.( in order to avoid false alarm caused in the normal use of gas ).
- The detector can not be installed in bathrooms or more humid places.
- The detector is strictly prohibited to get contact with paint and alcohol. If these two are found in the same room with the detector, you should isolate them from the detector immediately to prevent damage to the sensor.
MUTE, TESTING, PAIRING
Mute: In gas alarm status, press the “Test” button on the device to mute
the alarm.LED light blinking continues.
Testing: In normal status, press the button ‘Test’ so that the sound and
light alarm go On, and sends a wireless alarm signal.
Pairing: Go to the “Add detector“ dedicated menu in an alarm system, set
the alarm system into pairing mode, and press the Test button from the Smoke
detector, in order to send a wireless signal to the alarm system. Check
confirmation message for pairing success on the alarm system, and test sensor
again after.
Detector debugging
- Plug the power adapter into USB 5V jack.
- After it issues a tone, the detector begins the 180s preheating countdown.
- After preheating ending and the detector enters normal monitoring status, click the “TEST key”, and the detector will issue a “beep-beep-beep” tone and transmit a wireless alarm signal.
- After completing all the above steps, the detector can work and make an alarm normally.
EMERGENCY TREATMENT
When the gas concentration value reaches 8% LEL, the detector will make sound alarm and send alarm information to the compatible alarm system. It indicates there is high concentration of leaked gas in the environment. The discoverer should immediately check according to the following procedure:
Note: Leak of paint, cosmetics, alcohol and other chemical products may also trigger an alarm, please keep them away from the sensor to avoid false alarm.
- Turn off all gas sources.(stoves, cookers, gas water heaters, etc.)
- Immediately open the doors and windows to make air flow.
- Do not turn on other electrical appliances or lights.
- If someone feels headache, nausea, general weakness, irritability or shock and other symptoms should be rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment.
- For gas leakage cause, close main supply and contact the gas company to solve the problem.
