Basic features
- The voltage stabilizer is equipped with an individual circuit breaker for both input and output, for double protection.
- The voltage stabilizer has a built-in processor of the latest generation, which ensures the consistency and stability of the AVR unit.
- The built-in digital counters are accurate, stable and easy to read.
Description of components and functions
- Input voltage screen
- Output voltage screen
- Precision selector
- Delay selector
- On/off button
- LED indicators
- AC 230V outputs
- Fuse
- AC 140V-260V input
Output voltage screen
It displays the mains voltage.
Output voltage screen
When you turn on the stabilizer, this screen will display the countdown of the
delay time (supply delay). The default delay time is 6 seconds. After these 6
seconds, the output voltage will be displayed on the screen. If the output
voltage is constant, the screen will display 230V, and if the output voltage
varies, the screen will display the voltage for the range of 204V~236V with an
accuracy of 8% and for the range of 198V~242V with an accuracy of 10%. If the
input voltage has a value higher than 255V for more than 3 seconds, the screen
will flash the letter “H”, and if the voltage has a value lower than 180V for
1 second, the screen will flash the letter “L”. If you press the delay
selector [4], the display will show the current delay (6 or 120 seconds) for 3
seconds, then return to the output voltage display. If you press the precision
selector [3], the display will show “PCL” when the precision is set to 10% and
“PCH” if the precision is set to 8%.
Precision selector
The default setting is 10%. When you press the selector the precision will be
set to 8%.
Delay selector
If the stabilizer is used to power refrigeration equipment, we recommend
setting a start delay to reduce the risk of compressor motor failure. The
default delay time is 6 seconds. If you press the delay selector, it will be
set to 120 sec. If you do not want the start-up delay, set the selector to the
“UNDELAY” position.
On/Off button
After power supplying the stabilizer to the 230V mains, press this button to
turn it on. The screens will light up and show the input voltage and the
output voltage (with or without delay, depending on the settings).
To turn off the stabilizer press this button again.
LED indicators
WORKING: this LED stays on for the entire duration of the stabilizer’s
operation.
DELAYING: this LED flashes during the delay period (6 or 120 seconds).
UNUSUAL: this LED lights up when the input voltage exceeds the value of
255+/-5V. In this case, the protection circuit will be activated and the
stabilizer will no longer have output voltage. When the input voltage returns
to normal values, the stabilizer will return to normal operation mode.
If the input voltage is between 190V~250V, the stabilizer will be able to
provide 100% of the promised power.
Thus, the voltage will fluctuate according to the graph below:
The power curve of output
Technical specifications
Input
Model| Voltage| Frequency
500VA| 140V-260V| 50Hz
1000VA
1500VA
2000VA
Output
Model| Voltage| Frequency| Power| Max. current|

500VA| 230V±10%| 50Hz| 500VA| 2.3A| 3A
1000VA| 1000VA| 4.5A| 8A
1500VA| 1500VA| 6.8A| 10A
2000VA| 2000VA| 9.1A| 12A
All 4 models of SilverCloud stabilizers are single-phase.
The transfer time is less than 0.5 seconds.
The signal is in the form of a sine wave, without distortions.
The output delay can be 6 sec./ 120 sec (selectable).
Over voltage protection is at the value of 255V.
Safety warnings
- Avoid overloading the stabilizer.
- Do not use the stabilizer above the maximum output power.
- When you want to connect equipment with a built-in compressor motor to the stabilizer, keep in mind that the starting power is several times higher than the working power of the equipment. Make sure that the maximum output power is not exceeded by the power of all connected equipment. For televisions, consider twice its declared power.
- Make sure that the stabilizer has the output voltage and frequency required by the connected equipment.
- Make sure that the voltage of the power supply is within the range accepted by the stabilizer.
- Always use the stabilizer in a well-ventilated environment, away from direct sunlight, inaccessible to children, away from water, moisture, oil or other fats, away from flammable substances, safe and without risk of falling.
