Remote control from mobile app

Warning: due to CamHiPro application updates, there could be differences between the images and information presented in this manual.

  1. Install the CamHiPro application by accessing Google Play or the App Store or by scanning the QR code below:

  2. Create an account in the application and log in.

  3. Install the micro SD card (max. 128 Gb) in the camera. The card is not included.
    Instruction

  4. Power the camera to a 230V power source using the 12V/2A power adapter included in the package.
    Note: We recommend configuring and testing the camera before mounting it in the final location.

Quick setup. Adding the camera to the application without a cable.

Note: the camera must not be connected by cable to the router.

  • Connect the mobile phone to the WiFi 2.4GHz network of the router. Activate “Location” on your phone.
  • In the CamHi Pro application, click on the “+” icon.
  • Select the “IP camera” option.
  • In the following interface, select the “New device” option.
  • Click on “Power is on, next step”.
  • In the following interface, select the “Not connected to the network cable” option.
  • Select the “AP distribution network equipment – Go add” option.
  • Scan the QR code on the camera.
  • Wait for the application to identify the camera
  • Wait for the application to identify the camera. Connect to the camera’s AP.
  • Select the WiFi network you want to connect to and add the network password. To finish, press “Configure wireless and add”.

Note: If the procedure fails, reset the camera by pressing the reset button on the wire or the reset button on the mainboard and repeat the steps above.

After successfully adding the camera, click on the camera to preview the images. Note: the camera status must be Online. For security reasons, you will be asked to change the camera password. The camera preview interface has several options: start manual recording, perform image capture, activate speaker and camera microphone for two way communication, PTZ control, volume control, etc.

Adding the camera to the application by connecting it with a cable to the

router

Notes:

  • To add the camera to the application via cable, the mobile phone must be connected via WiFi 2.4GHz to the same router to which the camera is connected.
  • The camera’s default username and password are “admin”.
  1. Connect a network cable to the RJ45 connector on the camera wire and in the router.
  2. In the CamHi Pro application, click on the “+” icon.
  3. Select the “IP camera” option.
  4. In the following interface, select the “New device” option.
  5. Click on “Power is on, next step”.
  6. Select the “Connected network cable” option.
  7. From the displayed camera list, click on the camera you want to add.
  8. In the following interface, press “Add to”.
  9. Select the WiFi network you want to connect the camera to and enter the network’s password. Press “Configure wireless and add”.
  10. Give the camera a name and press “Confirm”.

Connecting the camera to the WiFi network

  1. Press the icon next to the camera you want to configure.
    Note: The camera status must be Online.

  2. Select “Wireless Setting”.

  3. Select the WiFi 2.4 GHz network you want to connect the camera to and enter the network’s password. Press “Apply”. The message “Wireless setup is successful” will be displayed.

Recording configuration on the micro SD card

  1. Install a maximum 128Gb micro SD card in the camera.
  2. Open the app, press the icon next to the camera you want to configure. Note: The camera status must be Online.
  3. Select “SD card plan recording”.
  4. Activate the “Whether to enable record” option.
  5. Activate daily recording, from Monday to Sunday, or manually set the recording days and time interval.
  6. Return to the main menu and select the “SD Card setting” option to check the available space on the card.

Activate recording only when motion is detected

Note: When the micro SD card installed in the camera has a reduced capacity, we recommend activating the recording function only upon motion detection.

  1. Open the app, press the icon next to the camera you want to configure. Note: The camera status must be Online. Select “SD card plan recording”.
  2. Activate the option “Whether to enable record“.
  3. In the “Recording time period” area, access “Advancedsetting” and disable all preset options.
  4. Return to the main menu and access “Alarm management and notification”, activate the “Motion detection alarm” option and the “Alarm recording to SD card” option.

To view the recordings on the micro SD card installed in the camera, press the icon from the bottom of the main applicationinterface. Select the camera and the file you want to play or download.

LED lighting mode setting

From the camera preview interface, the “Night vision” menu offers 3 options:

  1. Infrared mode: in low light conditions, the 8 IR LEDs of the camera light up.
  2. Full color mode: in low light conditions, the 8 IR LEDs light up, plus the 8 white light LEDs.
  3. Intelligent mode: in low light conditions, the 8 IR LEDs light up, plus the 8 LEDs with white light only when motion is detected.
