Please take a few moments to thoroughly read the instructions and familiarize yourself with all the operational aspects of your new heater.

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, and hyperthermia, including the following:

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

When using the unit, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

  1. Please read All the instructions before using this unit

  2. Be aware of the risk of electric shock. DO NOT open or try to repair the heater by yourself.

  3. This heater may get hot when it is in use. To avoid any harm,DO NOT touch hot surfaces with your bare skin. If necessary, use the handles when moving this heater.

  4. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillow, bedding, paper, clothes, and curtains at least 3ft from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides, top, and rear part. DO NOT place
    towels or other objects on the heater.

  5. You must pay extreme attention if the heater is used when there are children or the disabled nearby. Don’t leave the heater operating and be unattended.

  6. DO NOT operate the heater with a damaged cord or after any heater malfunctions, for example, it has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the heater to the authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.

  7. The heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. NEVER locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse it into water or other liquids.

  8. DO NOT touch the control panel or plug it with a wet hand.

  9. DO NOT place the cord under carpets. DO NOT cover the cord with rugs, or similar coverings. Place the cord at the place where it will not be tripped over.

  10. DO NOT insert or put any other objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

  11. To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block the air intake or exhaust in any manner.

  12. DO NOT use it on soft surfaces where may block its openings, like a bed.

  13. There are hot and arcing or sparking parts inside a heater. DO NOT use it in areas where gasoline, paint, explosive and/ or flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep the unit away from heated surfaces and open flames.

  14. Always plug the heater directly into a wall outlet. Never use it with an extension cord or relocate the power tap (power outlet/ power strip).

  15. To avoid a fire or shock hazard, plug the unit directly into a 120 V AC electrical outlet.

  16. To disconnect the heater, turn controls to OFF, and then remove the plug from the power outlet. DO
    NOT unplug it by pulling the cord violently.

  17. Always unplug the unit before moving or cleaning it, and whenever the heater is not in use.

  18. It can be used for household use only as described in this manual. It is not recommended to use it for other functions, or it may cause a fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. And please use the original attachments provided or sold by unauthorized dealers, or it may cause hazards.

  19. Always use it on a dry, level surface. Use it on the floor only.

  20. DO NOT use it outdoors.

  21. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use the unit with any speed control device.

  22. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing so will void your warranty. There is not any user- serviceable part inside of the unit. If the unit needs to be examined or repaired, please contact the qualified personnel for help.

  23. Connect the unit to properly grounded outlets only.

  24. Hyperthermia can result in death. Symptoms of hyperthermia include high body temperature, headache, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting, and rapid pulse. If you begin to experience symptoms related to hyperthermia, turn off the heater and seek medical attention.

  25. To avoid excessive room temperatures which can cause hyperthermia: DO NOT leave product running unattended in a confined space around infants, or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.

  26. Save the user manual for future reference.

SAFETY FEATURES

Tip-Over Safety Feature
The heater is equipped with a tip-over safety feature. Once the heater is tipped over, an internal switch will automatically shut the heater off. Once the heater is restored to an upright position, the heater will be reset. To continue the operation, turn on the heater by using the supplied remote control or pressing the key on the control panel of the heater.

Overheat Safety Feature
The heater is equipped with an overheat safety feature. When the heater’s internal components reach a certain temperature that could cause overheat or possible fire, the heater will automatically shut off.

OVERHEAT SAFETY FEATURE

Warnings:
The voltage rating of the heater is 120 volts. It is a 3-pin grounded outlet as shown in A, and you can plug the unit directly. An adapter as shown in C is available for connecting the 3-pin plug to a 2-prong outlet. The ground lug extending from the adapter must be connected to the ground. The adapter should not be used if you can use the unit with the 3-pin grounded outlet directly.

Do not neglect the safety purpose of the grounded plug. It is normal for the power cord to feel warm when the unit is in use, however, a loose connection between the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try to insert the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original outlet in case of any hazards.

CONTROL PANEL

  1. ON/OFF Button: To power the unit on and off.
  2. Mode Button: To select the mode among the High, Low and Eco modes.
  3. High Mode Indicator: It will light up when the high-heat mode is started.
  4. Low Mode Indicator: It will light up when the low-heat mode is started.
  5. Energy-saving Mode Indicator: It will light up when the energy-saving mode is started.
  6. Timer Button: It is used to use the Timer mode and to set the time.
  7. Temp-up Button: To increase the desired temperature.
  8. Temp-down Button: To decrease the desired temperature.
  9. Digital Display: It indicates the set room temperature or time.
  10. Celsius Indicator: It will light up when the temperature is displayed in Celsius.
  11. Fahrenheit Indicator: It will light up when the temperature is displayed in Fahrenheit.
  12. Signal Receiving Window: It is for receiving a remote control signal.

PREPARATION

Place the heater on a firm, level surface and plug it into a 120V 60Hz grounded power outlet. Turn on the power switch in the rear part of the unit. Only operate the heater in the upright position. Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote control before using the remote control. (The batteries are not included.)

OPERATING INSTRUCTION

3. Set the timer to power off
Note:
Setting the Timer to power off the unit will allow the heater to power off after a certain set time, and can only be set while the heater is in the “On” position.

4. Set the timer to power ON
Note:
Setting the Timer to power on will allow the heater to power on after a certain set time, and can only be set while the heater is in the “Off” position.

5. Set the electronic lock
The Electronic Lock can prevent the heater from being accidentally operated by children. The locking mechanism can be set in both the ON and OFF modes.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Turn off the power switch in the rear part of the unit.
  2. Unplug the unit and cool it completely.
  3. To keep the heater clean, the outer shell should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth. DO NOT let the liquid enter the heater.
  4. DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.
  5. DO NOT immerse the heater into water.
  6. Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.
  7. The air filter needs cleaning after it is used for 3 months. Please take off the air filter with 2 steps as shown in the drawing below. Flush and clean the air filter with water, and then dry it and reassemble it.

8. If you do not use the heater for a long time, please take out the batteries from the remote control (to prevent corrosion) as shown below. Store the remote control in a safe place.

STORAGE

Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use. To prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the original packaging to repack the unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the heater cannot work normal, please check the following situations before seeking the repair advice.

  1. Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet, if not, plug it in.
  2. Check if the electricity to the main power switch (in the back) is working.
  3. Check to see if the battery on the remote control is placed correctly and undamaged.
    Note:
    For the heater to function properly, the desired temperature on the heater must be set a few degrees higher than the temperature in the room. If it seems that the unit cannot heat up normally, increase the desired temperature on the heater to engage the heat elements.

WARRANTY

AIR CHOICE warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”). If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, AIR CHOICE will either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or provide a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by AIR CHOICE, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes AIR CHOICE’s property. When a store credit is given, the original product must be returned to AIR CHOICE and becomes AIR CHOICE’s property. To obtain warranty service, e-mail AIR CHOICE Limited Warranty Service at airchoice@afterservice.vip. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of the problem.

This warranty does not apply to:
damage caused by failure to follow instructions relating to product’ use or the installation of components;
damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquake or other external causes;
damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of AIR CHOICE;
accessories used in conjunction with a covered product a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; items intended to be periodically replaced by the purchaser during the normal life of the product including, without limitation, batteries or light bulbs; any product sold ‘as is’ including, without limitation, floor demonstration models and refurbished items; or a product that is used commercially or for a commercial purpose.
