INTENDED USE

The Car interior light effect sphere is used to generate lighting effects in cars, trucks and other vehicles. Only power the product with the undamaged provided plug. Do not tamper the plug.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not allowed. Contact
with humidity, drips or water spray, must be avoided at all times.
Any use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product and will expose you to additional risks, such as short-circuiting, fire, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating instructions.
Important notice: Always consult and take notice of your local traffic laws in before using this
product. Lights in any color can be prohibited to use!

WARNING

Read the entire operating instructions carefully; these instructions contain important information for proper operation. Damage due to not following these operating instructions will void the warranty! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage! We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases, the warranty will be null and void!

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

•  For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not permitted.
• The product is intended as a decorative light, it is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children.
• Never position containers containing liquids, such as glasses, coffee cups etc. in the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids may seep into the casing and thus impair the safety of the device. There is also a very high risk of fire! In such a case, switch off the device immediately and remove the batteries. Do not use the product after that and take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spray water, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place naked flames, such as lighters or cigarettes in the immediate vicinity of the device.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything for children.
• Never use the product without supervision.
• Use the product only in a temperate climate and not in a tropical climate.
• Avoid direct eye contact if the product is switched on.
• Do not disconnect the product by pulling or jerking the cord from the outlet. Pulling the cord causes wear and may cause a shock. Before pulling any cord at all, make sure the interior lights are off!
• Do not use the product when the cord or plug are showing any signs of damage.
• Do not use the product when the light has signs off damage.
• You should also heed to the additional safety instructions in each chapter of this instruction.
• Always use the product for its reasonably intended use case.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical support centre or consult a professional.

INSERTING / REPLACING BATTERIES

• Keep batteries out of reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swallowed by children or domestic animals. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
• Batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries, risk of explosion! Only recharge rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
• Remove batteries from the device if you will not be using it for a longer period.
• Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the remote control.
• Insert a new CR2025 battery in the remote. The correct polarity is stamped on the bottom of the battery compartment .
• Push the battery compartment lid back on again.
• If the remote control does not function anymore, the batteries have to be replaced

PLACING PRODUCT

•  Place the product like in the image Make sure to clean the surface of the interieur where the leds will be placed
• When all the wiring has been layed out, the strips can be placed on the surface by getting rid of the 3M protection lid. Tip: Slightly heat the adhesive strip with a lighter before placing, making it hold longer. Make sure to only do this when the led lights are off and not connected to the power.
• When the strips are placed, firmly press onto the surface and hold the pressure on to the strips for about 15 seconds.
• You’re done! You can organize and conceal the wires by using tape or glue.

OPERATION

• Switch the effect sphere on or off by pressing the on/off switch on the remote control
  onn/off Position I —> Effect sphere is on
  onn/off Position O —> Effect sphere is off

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

This device is maintenance-free.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning. Watering the cloth may cause damage to the product! Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surface of the housing.

DISPOSAL

Product

Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statutory requirements.
Remove the batteries that may be inserted and dispose of them separately from the product.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries

As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with the symbol
shown to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The symbols of the critical heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking can be seen on the battery / rechargeable battery, e.g., underneath the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection points of
your community, in our stores, or at places where batteries or rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Please note that if you bought the Bluetooth variant, there will be a QR-code on the adapter of the product that will lead you to the ‘LotusLatern X’ application from which you can control your LED lights.

Kindly note:

Remote controller must be aimed toward the IR signal receiver without barriers when operating.
Remote control distance is < 2m. Please allow a 1-second delay when switching to other lighting patterns.
Remove the plastic protector at the bottom of the remote before use.
