Points for Attention

Please avoid exposure to extreme heat, cold or any kind of moisture. Please use the scale in a dry environment.
Please do not place other articles touching the scale, or put rag or book under it, otherwise it will influence the accuracy. Please also do not place any electromagnetic devices such as cell phones or radios near the scale, otherwise there will be interference during the measurement.
Please place items gently on the scale weighing platform. Do not throw the objects on the scale randomly.
The surface of the scale is waterproof, but the whole body is not. Please wipe the water and clean the scale with a damp cloth after use. Do not immerse the scale in the water.
If the scale will not be used for a long time, please remove the batteries and keep the scale in a dry environment in order to protect it from mould.
Please note that this scale is not a toy, please keep it away from children.
Please use alkaline batteries instead of carbon – zinc dry batteries when replacing batteries.
Please do not mix new and used batteries to power the scale.
To ensure accurate measuring result, please put the items to be measured in the center of the scale.
If the scale fails to display zero when there is no item on the scale, please manually set the display to zero.

Instructions

1. Set-up

Please open the battery compartment cover on the back of the scale and insert 4 AAA alkaline batteries (included in the package) into the scale.
The LED screen of the scale will light up.

2. Normal Weighing Mode

Put food or other items in the range of 1g-5000g in the center of the scale to get a fixed reading.
Place the scale on a hard and level surface for measurement.

• Please wait until the screen displays zero. If the scale fails to display zero, press “ON/TARE” to set the reading to zero manually.

3. Zero/Tare Function

The tare function allows users to obtain the exact weight of the object in the container by deducting the weight of the container.

Press “ON/TARE” to turn on the scale and wait until the screen displays zero. If the scale fails to display zero, press “ON/TARE” to set the reading to zero manually.
Place the empty container in the center of the scale to measure its weight.
When the reading gets fixed, press “ON/TARE” to deduct the weight of the container, at this time zero will display on the screen.

Note: If you remove the container from the scale, there would be a minus number displaying on the screen, which is the weight to be excluded.

Put the items to be measured in the container and place them in the center of the scale to get the weight of the items.

4. Unit Conversion

There are 7 units for measurement, g / oz / lb:oz / water-ml / water-fl.oz / milk-ml / milk-fl.oz. To change the unit, please press “UNIT” to select one.

5. Power Saving Mode & Auto power-off The scale will automatically get dim after inactivity of a few seconds and enter into a power saving mode. Additionally, it will completely turn off after 180-second inactivity. To turn off the scale manually, please long press “ON/TARE”.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Solution
O_LD displays on the scale.	Remove the items from the scale immediately. (The

weight of items on the scale is beyond the maximum weighing range.)
LO displays on the screen and the scale automatically turns off.| Replace 4 new alkaline batteries. (The batteries are out of power.)
The scale fails to display zero when there is no item on the scale.| Please press “ON/TARE” to set the reading to zero manually.
The reading is inaccurate.| 1. Please place the scale on a hard and level surface without any article touching it.
2. Press “ON/TARE” to set the reading to zero manually.
3. Place the items to be measured in the center of the scale.
